No centro do segredo : Mýthos e lógos em primeiras estórias

Defesa: Curitiba, 31/03/2016Inclui referências : f. 116-121Resumo: Amparado em Antonio Candido e Eduardo Coutinho, a presente pesquisa tem por objetivo investigar o estatuto do pensamento lógico e do pensamento mítico na obra de 1962, Primeiras estórias, de João Guimarães Rosa. Com efeito, em uma abordagem imanente das narrativas rosianas, e a partir do diálogo mais detido com estes dois comentadores e com outros pesquisadores mais recentes da fortuna crítica, construímos o que denominamos sistema composicional dos princípios antitéticos da obra. Esse sistema consiste em uma representação do que entendemos como o processo criativo do volume. Em verdade, esta matriz formal que articula dialeticamente os dois princípios do nosso sistema pode ser reconhecida em todas as narrativas do volume e em todos os níveis de análise. Deste modo, por meio do tensionamento entre o Mýthos e o Lógos, Primeiras estórias pode ser erigida a condição de poesia narrativa, ou prosoema, pois embaralha os gêneros da poesia e da prosa em estórias que atualizam o mítico e arcaízam o lógico, em um processo químico de criação. Assim, oralidade, primitivismo, coletividade e o pensamento metafísico-sobrenatural, próprios do princípio mítico, estão dialeticamente articulados com o individualismo, com o modernismo, o escrito e o pensamento físico-natural, pressupostos do princípio lógico. E a partir dessa dupla raiz composicional é possível reconhecer a unidade do volume, em seu barroquismo linguístico e na sua estrutura especular. Pois a narrativa medial de Primeiras estórias, O espelho, reflete esse sistema composicional dos princípios antitéticos linguisticamente e articula toda a obra simetricamente, à medida que sua unidade implica a duplicidade do Mýthos e Lógos enquanto palavra.Abstract: Supported by Antonio Candido and Eduardo Coutinho, the present study aims to investigate the status of logical thinking and mythical thought in the work of 1962 Primeiras estórias, by João Guimarães Rosa. Indeed, in an immanent approach to Rosa's narrative, and from closer dialogue with these two commentators and other more recent researchers of literary criticism, we built what we call compositional system of antithetical principles of work. This system consists of a representation of what we understand as the creative process of the volume. In fact, this formal matrix that articulates dialectically the two principles of our system can be recognized in all the volume of narratives and in all levels of analysis. Thus, through the tensioning between the Mýthos and Lógos, Primeiras estórias can be erected condition of narrative poetry, or prosoema, as it scrambles genres of poetry and prose in stories that update the mythical and antiquated the logical, in a chemical process of creation. So orality, primitivism, community and the metaphysical-supernatural thinking, own the mythical principle, are dialectically articulated with individualism, with modernism, written and physical-natural thinking, prerequisites for the logical principle. And from this double root compositional it is possible to recognize the volume’s the unit in his baroque language and its structure speculate. Autophagy and apoptosis: studies on the effects of bisthiosemicarbazone copper(II) complexes on p53 and p53-null tumour cell lines

A comparative study between two bisthiosemicarbazones, 2,3-butanedione bis(4,4-dimethyl-3-thiosemicarbazone) and 2,3-butanedione bis(2-methyl-3-thiosemicarbazone), and their copper(II) complexes is reported. The four compounds have been tested on leukemia cell line U937 and on adenocarcinoma cell line A549. The study includes cell viability, cell cycle, morphological changes, assessment of apoptosis, analysis of autophagy, measurement of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and of lipid peroxidation, protein determination, assessment of the expression of p53 and cellular uptake of metal complexes. Tests about the copper uptake under normoxic and hypoxic conditions were also carried out on solid tumour cell line A549. The four compounds under study elicit different effects on the two lines adopted as representatives of p53 and p53-null cells. The role of the metal is relevant and it is likely that the metal-mediated oxidative stress plays an essential role in the whole process. The mechanisms induced by these molecules differ not only as a function of cell line but also of dose. The responses include two distinct self-destructive processes, autophagy and apoptosis

Verso le elezioni politiche 2023: Rosatellum o nuova legge elettorale?

Fin dalla sua nascita nel 2001, la Fondazione Astrid ha dedicato una parte importante delle sue ricerche e dei suoi paper alle riforme istituzionali e elettorali per ammodernare la democrazia italiana, superare la crisi di rappresentatività delle sue istituzioni e metterle in grado di affrontare i problemi e le sfide del nostro tempo. Rispetto alle precedenti ricerche, questo paper ha una finalità più limitata e più schiacciata sull’attualità politico-istituzionale: valutare se, a meno di un anno dalle elezioni politiche del 2023, vi siano spazi e ragioni per modificare la legge elettorale in vigore (il cosiddetto Rosatellum); e, in caso affermativo, analizzare quali potrebbero essere le soluzioni alternative e i relativi pregi e difetti. Pólipos linfangiomatosos de las amígdalas palatinas en la infancia: Reporte de un caso y revisión

Background: Lymphangiomatous polyps of the palatine tonsils are rare benign lesions. This entity originates from the lymphoid stroma intermixed with parenchyma, being different from papillary hyperplasia, representing approximately 1.9% of tonsillar neoplasms. Objective: To present a case report and systematic review of the pediatric cases published in the literature. The report case: A systematic review was carried out following the PRISMA guidelines of the reports in PubMed, Elsevier, Google Scholar from 2010 to 2021. 18 articles were found of which 8 females and 10 males were found, the mean age was 14 years, in 15 lesions were unilateral. All cases reported the presence of lymphatic vessels in the histopathological exam. Conclusion: There is variability with age with a similar distribution between genders, being rare there is heterogeneity in its denomination.Introducción: Los pólipos linfangiomatosos de las amígdalas palatinas son lesiones benignas raras. Esta entidad se origina en el estroma linfoide mezclándose con el parénquima, siendo diferente a la hiperplasia papilar y representa aproximadamente el 1,9% de las neoplasias de amígdalas. Objetivo: Presentar un caso clínico y una búsqueda sistemática de los casos pediátricos publicados en la literatura. Reporte de caso: se ha realizado una revisión sistemática siguiendo las pautas PRISMA de los reportes en PubMed, Elsevier, Google Académico de 2010 a 2021. Se localizaron 18 artículos en los que se encontró 8 mujeres y 10 hombres, la edad promedio fue de 14 años, en 15 las lesiones eran unilaterales. Todos los casos reportaron en los hallazgos histopatológicos la presencia de vasos linfáticos. Conclusión: Existe variabilidad entre la edad con distribución similar entre sexos; al ser una entidad infrecuente hay heterogeneidad en su denominación

Molecular mechanisms and physiological changes behind benign tracheal and subglottic stenosis in adults.

Laryngotracheal stenosis (LTS) is a complex and heterogeneous disease whose pathogenesis remains unclear. LTS is considered to be the result of aberrant wound-healing process that leads to fibrotic scarring, originating from different etiology. Although iatrogenic etiology is the main cause of subglottic or tracheal stenosis, also autoimmune and infectious diseases may be involved in causing LTS. Furthermore, fibrotic obstruction in the anatomic region under the glottis can also be diagnosed without apparent etiology after a comprehensive workup; in this case, the pathological process is called idiopathic subglottic stenosis (iSGS). So far, the laryngotracheal scar resulting from airway injury due to different diseases was considered as inert tissue requiring surgical removal to restore airway patency. However, this assumption has recently been revised by regarding the tracheal scarring process as a fibroinflammatory event due to immunological alteration, similar to other fibrotic diseases. Recent acquisitions suggest that different factors, such as growth factors, cytokines, altered fibroblast function and genetic susceptibility, can all interact in a complex way leading to aberrant and fibrotic wound healing after an insult that acts as a trigger. However, also physiological derangement due to LTS could play a role in promoting dysregulated response to laryngo-tracheal mucosal injury, through biomechanical stress and mechanotransduction activation.
