Hyperfine anomaly in Be isotopes in the cluster model and the neutron spatial distribution

The study of the hyperfine anomaly of neutron rich nuclei, in particular, neutron halo nuclei, can give a very specific and unique way to measure their neutron distribution and confirm a halo structure. The hyperfine structure anomaly in Be+ ions is calculated with a realistic electronic wave function, obtained as a solution of the Dirac equation. In the calculations, the Coulomb potential modified by the charge distribution of the clustered nucleus and three electrons in the 1s^2 2s configuration is used. The nuclear wave function is obtained in the core+nucleon model of 9,11Be. The aim of this study is to test whether the hyperfine structure anomaly reflects a halo structure in 11Be.Comment: 8 pages, 1 figur

Theoretical study of one-proton removal from 15O

    Get PDF
One-proton removal from 15O at intermediate energies (56 A MeV) is studied in the eikonal approximation of the Glauber model. The production of the 14N core fragment in the ground and excited states is regarded. The calculated proton removal cross section, the 15O interaction cross section, and the longitudinal momentum distribution of the 14N fragments are compared to recent experimental data [1]. [1] H. Possibility to study a two-proton halo in 17^{17}Ne

The nuclide 17^{17}Ne is studied theoretically in a three-body 15^{15}O+pp+pp model. We demonstrate that the experimental condition for existence of a proton halo in 17^{17}Ne can be reasonably quantified in terms of s/ds/d configuration mixing. We discuss experimental evidences for a proton halo in 17^{17}Ne. We define which kind of experimental data could elucidate this issue.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figure

The influence of some model parameters on the impurity distribution implanted into substrate surface

    Get PDF
The model for description of the initial stage of ion implantation into the surface layer of the metal is presented. The interdependence of embedded impurity concentration and deformations arising from the impact of particles on the surface is investigated. The model takes into account the particle diffusion, the finite time of mass flux relaxation; the stress appearance due to a composition change of the surface layer and a mass transfer phenomenon under a stress gradient action. It is established that the interaction of mechanical waves and concentration leads to a distribution of concentration not corresponding to a pure diffusion process. The examples of coupled problems solution for different sets of model parameters are presented

The influence of vacancy generation at the initial stage of ion implantation

    Get PDF
The paper presents a coupled isothermal model at the initial stage of a solid surface treatment with particle beams. Mechanical stresses arising due to the interaction of particles with the surface affect the redistribution of the implanted impurity. Vacancies in the metal surface and their generation under stress are also taken into account. The kinetic law is formulated on the basis of thermodynamics of irreversible processes. The authors used numerical investigation methods. As a result, they have obtained the distributions of impurity concentration and deformations for various time moments. The authors also compare the concentration and deformation profiles with and without vacancies and study the influences of some model parameters. The effect of vacancy generation on the diffusion has been established to lead to an increase in the depth of penetration, as well as in the concentration of impurities

In the article results of the comparative analysis of world experience of stimulation of innovative-investment process through theformation of a favorable tax climate are generalized. Development of tax stimulation of innovation activity is considered as a crucialfactor in building a new model of economic growth. It is concluded that within the subject principle there are three elements of thestimulation instrument: amortization privileges, preferences concerning the profits tax, indirect measures of tax stimulation. Conclusionson potential use of foreign tax instruments of stimulation of innovation activity in the Russian conditions are presented.KEY WORDS: tax stimulation, innovation activity, tax credits, investment tax credit, tax research credit, amortization, profit tax ofthe organizations, R&D, modernization
