Hurwitz Monodromy and Full Number Fields
We give conditions for the monodromy group of a Hurwitz space over the
configuration space of branch points to be the full alternating or symmetric
group on the degree. Specializing the resulting coverings suggests the
existence of many number fields with full Galois group and surprisingly little
ramification --- for example, the existence of infinitely many such number
fields unramified away from {2,3,5}
An Investigation of Incongruency and Distraction Hypotheses: The Context of Dubbed TV Commercials
When one looks at the Television commercials scene in India, one easily sees three distinct patterns of communication. One is the nation-wide campaigns that are language neutral, meaning, they are purely music based. The other kind is a pure regional communications, with regional content starting from the language to the props used. The third variety is more like the ‘transition-ads’ that are between a pure nation-wide and a pure regional communication. These are basically nation-wide commercials dubbed in the regional languages, while not changing any part of the visual: thus they are ‘national’ with their visuals and regional with their sound track. The current study seeks to understand the effectiveness of such dubbed advertisements. Here incongruency and distraction hypotheses are investigated through two experiments. A social message against the use of cell-phones is used with students as target audience. The results of the first experiment while indicates distraction effects, the ANOVA tests have a very low power. The second experiment apart from repeating the first experiment with a little larger sample also looks at amount of counterarguments in the treatment conditions. The results of the second study do not validate any of the hypotheses. However the recall results are intriguing. Divided attention and incongruency are found to be two competing theories in explaining the recall effects of dubbed advertisements.
Nano Calculators
The whole circuit is obtained from the sun through a molecule called
"Rhodopsin and bacteriorhodopsin". These molecules have the capability of
trapping and storing energy from the sun light. These molecules are placed on
the outer surface of the calculator to trap the energy and store it themselves
for latter usage. The thickness of the whole circuit measures less than
300nm.The top layer is made up of layer which will show the different keys and
a display unit. "Molecules are not only meant for compounding But also for
computing".Comment: Submitted on behalf of TIMA Editions

Investigations on hybrid line stability ranking index with polynomial load modeling for power system security
Introduction. In recent years, numerous non-renewable and renewable energies are connected to the grid to meet the demand. Also, transient variation with loads poses the shortcomings for generating units, transmission and distribution networks. In this regard, the study on choice of suitable load modelling is essential to predict the system characteristics. The aspect of the research design is a ZIP load model, which, when combined with contingency criteria and constant-impedance, constant-current, and constant-power loads, produces realistic and long-term load representations. Purpose. The proposed technique, infers the single transmission line outage for obtaining the contingency ranking to ensure the system behavior. Methods. The proposed mathematical model with hybrid line stability ranking index has been used for observing the stability analysis with and without considering unified power flow controller. Results. The power system involves many unpredictable conditions or contingency conditions like single transmission line outage, double transmission line outage, generator outage and load variations. This paper mainly focuses on the single transmission line outage for obtaining the contingency ranking. Practical value. The recommended stability analysis has been very beneficial in establishing a secure transmission power system.
MANAGEMENT OF KITIBHA KUSHTA (PSORIASIS): A CASE STUDY
Now days society is more conscious about external beauty compare to internal beauty and also some professional fields they require good looking and charming beauty. Usually 10-15% cases present before general practitioners are pertaining to skin diseases. Due to altered life style, lack of physical exercise, unhygienic, mental stress, over eating, nutrition deficiency, skin diseases are commonly observed. Psoriasis is chronic disorder which is commonly encountered in day today’s clinical practices. It is one of the burning issues having social importance. Increased stress and sedentary life style are main predisposing factor which is accounting for wide spared prevalence of this disease. All the skin diseases in Ayurveda have been discussed under the broad heading of Kushta. Which are further divided in Mahakustha and Kshudra Kushta. This paper highlights a case study of Kitibha Kushta (Psoriasis) treated with the Ayurvedic principles in particular Shodhana Chikitsa
Women over 40, foreigners of color, and other missing persons in globalizing mediascapes: understanding marketing images as mirrors of intersectionality
Media diversity studies regularly invoke the notion of marketing images as mirrors of racism and sexism. This article develops a higher-order concept of marketing images as “mirrors of intersectionality.” Drawing on a seven-dimensional study of coverperson diversity in a globalizing mediascape, the emergent concept highlights that marketing images reflect not just racism and sexism, but all categorical forms of marginalization, including ableism, ageism, colorism, fatism, and heterosexism, as well as intersectional forms of marginalization, such as sexist ageism and racist multiculturalism. Fueled by the legacies of history, aspirational marketing logics, and an industry-wide distribution of discriminatory work, marketing images help to perpetuate multiple, cumulative, and enduring advantages for privileged groups and disadvantages for marginalized groups. In this sense, marketing images, as mirrors of intersectionality, are complicit agents in the structuration of inequitable societies
Socio-economic Impact Assessment of Livelihood Security in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Aquaculture on the Tsunami-hit Lands of Andaman
Indian subcontinent is highly vulnerable to major natural disasters such as earthquakes, cyclones, floods, droughts, landslides and bushfires. Tsunami, which is a recent addition to this list, had occurred in the early morning of 26th December 2004, after a massive earthquake of 9.2 magnitude on the Richter scale in Andaman & Nicobar islands, resulting in the submergence of large area of farmland, and subsequent drying up of water bodies. It caused moisture stress for the standing crops, livestock and fisheries and affected the livelihood of the people to a large extent. In this context, the present study has been carried out to make the socio-economic impact assessment of livelihood security in agriculture, animal husbandry and aquaculture on the tsunami-hit lands of Andaman. Data have been collected from 150 sample respondents and the survey has been conducted for two periods, pre-tsunami and post-tsunami. The results have indicated that tsunami has ravaged the households, standing crops, farm inputs such as seed, feed and implements, livestock and poultry population, their sheds, fish ponds, etc., thereby affecting the basic livelihood security of the people in Andaman. The rehabilitation measures taken by the government and NGOs have improved their livelihoods by reviving agriculture considerably in the subsequent years and by creating employment opportunities in various farm and non-farm activities. The paper has suggested creating profitable livelihood security to vulnerable sections of the society in the existing socio-economic penury with holistic intervention of the community, government and NGOs.Agricultural and Food Policy,
