Le Danube dans le secteur du Défilé des Portes de Fer. Vers la création d’une réserve transfrontalière Portes de Fer – Djerdap ?

Deux parcs s’étendent sur les deux bords du Défilé du Danube, le parc national de Djerdap en Serbie et le parc naturel des Portes de Fer en Roumanie. Chaque parc a ses spécificités, mais il existe aussi des similitudes entre des éléments de patrimoine qui créent un cadre favorable pour une gestion en commun. Il y a des avantages certains à créer une réserve transfrontalière, pour mieux gérer le patrimoine existant. On essaye d’analyser ici quelles sont les conditions favorables et quelles sont les difficultés pour mettre en place une telle réserve transfrontalière. Le contexte historique peut montrer si la frontière sur le Danube entre la Roumanie et l’ancienne Yougoslavie a été et est encore un lieu de coopération ou de conflit. L’analyse des conditions naturelles est axée sur le rôle du Danube : est-il un axe qui relie les deux versants de la vallée ou constitue-t-il un obstacle ? On souligne les démarches qui ont été faites dans cette direction et l’avenir de cet espace défini par la présence du Danube pour que les parcs parviennent à ce statut de réserve transfrontalière et pour qu’elle soit gérée en commun.On the two banks of the Danube Gorges there are two parks, the national Park Djerdap in Serbia-Montenegro and the Iron Gates Natural Park in Romania. Each park has its own characteristics, but there are a lot of similar heritage elements that draw a favorable framework for a common management. There are obvious advantages in creating a transborder reserve, for a better management of the existing resources. We tried to analyze the favorable conditions and the difficulties of creating such a transborder reserve. The historical context can show if the frontier between Romania and Yugoslavia was and is based on cooperation or conflict. The analysis of the natural conditions is focused on the role of the Danube : is it an axis that links the two banks or does it constitute an obstacle? We underline the efforts already made and the work still necessary for this area defined by the river Danube to gain the status of transborder reserve and to manage it in common

Spatial analysis of locational conflicts: case study: locational conflicts generated by the expansion of built up surfaces in the northern area of Bucharest, Romania

The aim of this paper is to identify and analyze land use conflicts existing in the northern area of Bucharest and to spatially model their impact on the expandint residential areas. The main objectives are: 1) to analyze the dynamics of built up surfaces between 1975-2010; 2) to analyze the spatial and temporal dynamic of locational conflicts and 3) to spatially model the impact of locational conflicts on residential areas.Peer Reviewe
