José Jiménez Aranda, master of casaconismo: from Rome to Paris of the Universal Exhibition in 1889

En el presente trabajo se aborda la relación puntual del artista sevillano José Jiménez Aranda con la capital francesa, en la que presentó al salón de 1889 una obra de paradero desconocido, hoy localizada, que supone la ratificación de su vinculación al “casaconismo” pictórico.This paper studies the relationship between the Sevillian artist José Jiménez Aranda and the French capital, where he presented to the Salon of 1889 a work of unknown whereabouts. This painting, now localized, supposes the ratification of his association to the pictorial “casaconismo”
