Linear Scaling Solution of the Coulomb problem using wavelets
The Coulomb problem for continuous charge distributions is a central problem
in physics. Powerful methods, that scale linearly with system size and that
allow us to use different resolutions in different regions of space are
therefore highly desirable. Using wavelet based Multi Resolution Analysis we
derive for the first time a method which has these properties. The power and
accuracy of the method is illustrated by applying it to the calculation of of
the electrostatic potential of a full three-dimensional all-electron Uranium
dimer
Correction of metabolic changes in the tissues of oral cavity of rats using a complex of drugs under the conditions of pathological factors
Hypoxia is a typical pathological process that occurs when tissues are insufficiently supplied with oxygen or when its utilization is impaired. One of the most important pathogenetic factors in the development of tissue hypoxia is the disintegration of the structure of mitochondrial membranes which occurs under the influence of various etiological factors. In children who suffered hypoxia in the antenatal period, the frequency of developmental delays is significantly increased, and the incidence of caries is also shown to increase as compared to healthy children. Based on the above, this work is relevant for modern dentistry. The work is devoted to the study of the state of the maxillofacial system and tissues of the oral cavity of rats under the influence of the complex of drugs under the conditions of intrauterine hypoxia, cariogenic diet, thyroid insufficiency and fluorine deficiency. The subjects of the study were 25 female white rats of the Wistar line of herd breeding from the vivarium of the SE βISMFS NAMSβ kept on a standard vivarium diet. The animals were divided into three groups β intact (7 rats), pathology model (8 rats), pathology model and drug complex (8Β rats). Animals were removed from the experiment under thiopental anesthesia (40Β mg/kg). Lower jaws and pulp were removed. As a result of the research, it was established that the proposed treatment-prophylactic complex has a pronounced caries-prophylactic and periodontoprotective effect. The caries-preventive effectiveness of the complex was due to its ability to stimulate the mineralizing function of the dental pulp, namely, to increase the activity of alkaline phosphatase of the pulp, as an indicator of the activation of osteoblasts, against the background of a decrease in the activity of acid phosphatase, a marker of osteoclasts
Gauge invariance, causality and gluonic poles
We explore the electromagnetic gauge invariance of the hadron tensor of the
Drell-Yan process with one transversely polarized hadron. The special role is
played by the contour gauge for gluon fields. The prescription for the gluonic
pole in the twist 3 correlator is related to causality property and compared
with the prescriptions for exclusive hard processes. As a result of we get the
extra contributions, which naively do not have an imaginary phase. The single
spin asymmetry for the Drell-Yan process is enhanced by the factor of two.Comment: 9 pages, 2 figures; References and acknowledgements added
A Tobamovirus Genome That Contains an Internal Ribosome Entry Site Functionalin Vitro
AbstractMost eukaryotic mRNAs are translated by a βscanning ribosomeβ mechanism. We have found that unlike the type member of the genusTobamovirus, translation of the 3β²-proximal coat protein (CP) gene of a crucifer infecting tobamovirus (crTMV) (Dorokhovet al.,1993; 1994) occurredin vitroby an internal ribosome entry mechanism. Three types of synthetic dicistronic RNA transcripts were constructed and translatedin vitro:(i) βMP-CP-3β²NTRβ transcripts contained movement protein (MP) gene, CP gene and the 3β²-nontranslated region of crTMV RNA. These constructs were structurally equivalent to dicistronic subgenomic RNAs produced by tobamovirusesin vivo.(ii) βΞNPT-CPβ transcripts contained partially truncated neomycin phosphotransferase I gene and CP gene. (iii) βCP-GUSβ transcripts contained the first CP gene and the gene ofEscherichia coliΞ²-glucuronidase (GUS) at the 3β²-proximal position. The results indicated that the 148-nt region upstream of the CP gene of crTMV RNA contained an internal ribosome entry site (IRESCP) promoting internal initiation of translationin vitro.Dicistronic IRESCP, containing chimeric mRNAs with the 5β²-terminal stemβloop structure preventing translation of the first gene (MP, ΞNPT, or CP), expressed the CP or GUS genes despite their 3β²-proximal localization. The capacity of crTMV IRESCPfor mediating internal translation distinguishes this CP tobamovirus from the well-known-type member of the genus, TMV UI. The equivalent 148-nt sequence from TMV RNA was incapable of mediating internal translation. Two mutants were used to study structural elements of IRESCP. It was concluded that integrity of IRESCPwas essential for internal initiation. The crTMV provides a new example of internal initiation of translation, which is markedly distinct from IRESs shown for picornaviruses and other viral and eukaryotic mRNAs

The highly sensitive method of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) detection of low concentrations of target proteins based on the biosensor signal enhancement by using gold nanoparticles (similar to βsandwichβ assay type) is described. The commercial protein preparations of beta-2-microglobulin (B2M) as a model biomarker and polyclonal (Pab) and monoclonal antibodies (Mab) to B2M were used. It has been shown that this universal and reproducible method can be applied for SPR analysis of other protein biomarkers by analogy with the biomarker protein B2M. The present work is also focused on the experimental protocol description. The protocols of gold nanoparticles (GNP) synthesis, obtaining the conjugates of Pab/GNP and measuring their concentration, the protocol of Mab covalent immobilization on the optical chip CM5 of a biosensor and also SPR registration of molecular interactions Mab-biomarker and in the βsandwichβ assay type Mab-biomarker-Pab or Mab-biomarker-Pab/GNP are considered in detail.ΠΠΏΠΈΡΠ°Π½ Π²ΡΡΠΎΠΊΠΎΡΡΠ²ΡΡΠ²ΠΈΡΠ΅Π»ΡΠ½ΡΠΉ ΠΌΠ΅ΡΠΎΠ΄ Π΄Π΅ΡΠ΅ΠΊΡΠΈΠΈ Π½ΠΈΠ·ΠΊΠΈΡ

Experimental research on plasma destruction of bone tissue
The main condition in achieving a favorable outcome is surgical treatment of patients with tumor-like diseases and benign bone tumors erosion of neoplasm within the healthy tissues. To reduce the number of recurrences the various chemical and physical methods on resection areas have been performed. The authors have proposed a new method of low temperature plasma treatment of bone tissue with the temperature of 20000Β°C. Exposing the plasma flow on bone tissue leads to loss of all cellular elements including neoplastic elements with preservation of the mineral bone structure. The direct correlation between the capacity of the plasma flow and intensity of bone destruction has been defined. This allows a differentiated use of plasma destruction in skeletal bones according to anatomy, size and type of bone tissue (spongy or cortical) as well as patient's individual condition of the tissu
The study on the refraction of morphofunctional changes in kidneys of white male rats with experimental light desynchronosis
The goal is to study the morphofunctional changes in the kidneys under the influence of light desynchronosis, an analysis of the degree of reversibility of these changes. Material and Methods. The study was carried out in two stages on 72 white male rats. In the first series of experiments, animals underwent round-the-clock light exposure for 10 and 21 days. In the second series after round-the-clock exposure to light for 10 and 21 days, the beings were exposed to natural light for 21 days. The animals of the control group were kept in a natural light regime. Morphological and morphometric analysis of histological sections of kidneys stained with hematoxylin and eosin was performed. Results. It was found that on the 10th day of the experiment, cellular infiltration of the cortex occurs, and the edema of the interstitial tissue develops. These changes progress to the 21st day of the experiment and are combined with a significant decrease in the area of the glomerular capillary network and expansion of the lumen of the capsule of the glomerulus of cortical nephrons. When assessing the long-term consequences after 10-day illumination, the diameter of the renal corpus is reduced along the long and short axis. The changes registered on the 21st day do not reach the control values, which indicate that they are irreversible. Conclusion. The revealed structural and functional changes in the kidney indicate a negative effect of light desynchronosis: 10-day lighting leads to a breakdown of compensatory possibilities and the development of distant morphological changes; long-term light exposure (within 21 days) leads to the development of pronounced irreversible structural disorders.</p
Morphofunctional state of spleening under light desynchronosis in the experiment
Aim: to study the effects of light desynchronosis on the morphofunctional state of the spleen of white male rats. Material and Methods. The study of light desynchronosis was carried out on 48 male rats using the Light Light model with an illumination power of 300 Ix in the daylight and 500 Ix in the dark. The laboratory animals in the experiment were divided into four groups: the control and three experimental ones, in which they were exposed to light for 1 day, 10 days, 21 days respectively. In the course of morphometry of histological sections of the spleen, the following parameters were assessed: the area of white pulp lymphoid follicles, B- and T-clependent zones of white pulp, the number of germinative centers and immunoblasts in B- and T-zones. Results. On day 1 of the experiment, an increase in the area of the lymphoid follicle, periarterial and B-dependent zones, an increase in the number of immunoblasts and reproduction centers was registered. By the 10th day there was a partial restoration of these indicators relative to the control values. On the 21st day of the experiment, a decrease in the growth dynamics of all the morphometric parameters of the spleen was observed. Conclusion. Light desynchronosis induces by the Light Light model leads to the development of the pathology of the immune system with an extensive shift of all measurable indicators. Key words: morphofunctional state of the spleen, morphometric criteria, light desynchronosis, immunity.</p
Prevention of stomatological complications in therapy of locally extended cancer of oral cavity mucus
Aim of the investigation: to improve prophylaxis of dental complications during the therapy in the patients with locally extended cancer of oral cavity mucus. Materials and methods. Results of sanation of oral cavity in 320 patients with cancer of oral and pharyngeal areas have been analyzed. Results. The best results have been marked in the patients who experienced surgical sanation before chemo-radial therapy. Most complications have been observed when teeth were extracted after the chemical therapy during the period of radial therapy at focal dose of above 20 Gy as well as in the late periods after the radial therapy. Conclusion: A complex of preventive measures with the use of haemostatic sponge with canamycin in such patients has decreased a number of complications and the terms of healing of alveoli of extracted teeth
