“New Poetry” Periodical and Electronic Edition of New York Group Authors as a Source for Forming and Disseminating Modern Aesthetics of Ukrainian Poetic Space

The article is dedicated to the peculiarities of the content of the New York Group poets’ periodicals. The stages of creation and activity of the Group are analyzed. The innovative approach of the authors of the New York Group to the content of their publications and the original character of the poetic texts are determined. It is emphasized that the artistic credo of the poets of the New York Group is the innovation as the basis of artistic activity. The role of the means of artistic expression in shaping the aesthetics of modernity in the Ukrainian-language emigration periodicals is investigated. Neologisms which are an integral part of the poetic texts of the New York group, are analyzed and determined that nonce words concisely convey the content, quality and assessment of different concepts. It is also noted that nonce compound adverbs serve as a vivid artistic and stylistic means of depicting people, their feelings and qualities. The article also presents examples of various newly created adverbs. The conclusion is made about the creative nature of language formation and the original aesthetics of literary works of the authors of the New York group, which is inherent to the modernist style, and their propagation of artistic ideals in periodicals and literary criticism.Стаття присвячена особливостям змістовного наповнення періодичних видань поетів Нью-Йоркської групи. Аналізуються етапи створення та діяльності групи. Визначається новаторський підхід авторів Нью-Йоркської групи до змісту їх видань та оригінальний характер поетичних текстів. Підкреслюється, що мистецьким кредо поетів Нью-йоркської групи є креативність як основа творчості. Досліджується роль засобів художньої виразності у формуванні естетики модерну в українськомовній еміграційній періодиці. Проаналізовано оказіоналізми, які є невід'ємною частиною поетичних текстів нью-йоркської групи, та визначено, що вони лаконічно передають зміст, якість і оцінку різних понять. Також зазначається, що прислівники-композити служать яскравим художнім і стилістичним засобом зображення людей, їхніх почуттів і якостей. У статті також представлені приклади різних новостворених прислівників. Зроблено висновок про креативний характер мовотворчості та оригінальну естетику літературних робіт авторів Нью-Йоркської групи, що притаманна модерну, та пропагування ними мистецьких ідеалів у періодиці та літературній критиці.Статья посвящена особенностям содержательного наполнения периодических изданий поэтов Нью-Йоркской группы. Анализируются этапы создания и деятельности группы. Определяется новаторский подход авторов Нью-Йоркской группы к содержанию их изданий и оригинальный характер поэтических текстов. Подчеркивается, что художественным кредо поэтов Нью-Йоркской группы является креативность как основа творчества. Исследуется роль средств художественной выразительности в формировании эстетики модерна в украиноязычной эмиграционной периодике. Specific Aspects and Significance of Subgroup Assessment in Confirmatory Clinical Trials

Patient subgroup analysis plays an important role in interpretation of confirmatory clinical trial results and is mandatory in most cases. The purpose of subgroup analysis is to assess the consistency (heterogeneity) of the treatment effect in subgroups of patients identified based on such characteristics as demographics, stage and severity of the underlying disease, presence of a certain genetic mutation, etc. However, existing methodological issues (the problem of multiple comparisons, detection of differences between subgroups by chance alone, etc.) make it difficult to carry out the analysis and often lead to controversial conclusions. The aim of  the study was to analyse and summarise foreign regulatory approaches to subgroup analysis in confirmatory clinical trials, and to elaborate science-based requirements for subgroup analysis and interpretation of the results by clinical trial sponsors and experts when assessing the risk-benefit ratio of medicinal products for the purpose of their authorisation in Russia and the  Eurasian Economic Union. This paper discusses the objectives of subgroup  analysis and statistical approaches to its performance, provides relevant examples of such analysis from regulatory practice. It describes approaches to interpretation of subgroup analysis depending on the presence/absence of evidence supporting the primary hypothesis of the study, the nature of the experimental medicinal product’s heterogeneous effects in the  subgroups, and selection of the subgroups. The paper highlights areas of concern in subgroup analysis, potential controversies in interpretation of the  obtained results, and regulatory expectations. The recommendations  presented in the paper can be used by experts in the assessment of the risk-benefit ratio, as well as by medicine developers in the preparation of clinical trial protocols and reports

Specific features of spin-variable properties of [Fe(acen)pic2]BPh4 · nH2O

© 2016, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. The [Fe(acen)pic2]BPh4 · nH2O compound has been synthesized and studied in the temperature interval of 5–300 K by the methods of EPR and magnetic susceptibility. The existence of ferromagnetic interactions between Fe(III) complexes in this compound has been revealed, in contrast to unhydrated [Fe(acen)pic2]BPh4. The reduction in the integrated intensity of the magnetic resonance signal as the temperature decreases below 80 K has been explained by the transition of high-spin ions to the low-spin state. It has been shown that the phase transition temperature in the presence of intermolecular (ferromagnetic) interactions is lower than that in the case of noninteracting centers

Зазначено, що в умовах сьогодення ефективним засобом забезпечення гендерної рівності в органах внутрішніх справ є впровадження технології професійно-психологічного тренінгу в систему професійно-психологічної підготовки персоналу.The state of scientific research of gender equality within the activity of Internal Affairs Agencies (hereinafter – IAA) of Ukraine is analyzed. Analysis of legal, psychological and sociological literature on the issue shows the desire of researchers to find effective approaches to achieving gender equality within IAA. The authors have noted the existence of a number of socio-psychological and organizational problems that require complex legal and psychological research, which are aimed at identifying the forms of gender stereotypes and gender discrimination, gender intra- and interpersonal conflicts and their causes, the best methods of preventing such conflicts, the introduction of relevant legal and psychological approaches and means ensuring gender equality within the activities of IAA of Ukraine. Based on the analysis of the positions of many researchers the psychological guaranteeing of gender equality within the activities of IAA of Ukraine is defined as a system of formation, maintenance and restoration of equal rights and opportunities of women and men serving within IAA of Ukraine, in order to increase the effectiveness of fulfilling the tasks, as well as the prevention and timely solution of psychological problems caused by the peculiarities of gender relations. The conclusion about the necessity of taking into account gender differences between men and women within IAA is grounded. This will increase the level of efficiency of using human resources, as well as the appropriateness of the widespread introduction of the technology of professional and psychological training into the system of professional training of IAA personnel.На основании теоретического обзора ряда научных трудов и положений действующего законодательства определены основные психологические подходы к обеспечению гендерного равенства в деятельности органов внутренних дел Украины. Отмечено, что в современных условиях эффективным средством обеспечения гендерного равенства в органах внутренних дел является внедрение технологии профессионально-психологического тренинга в систему профессионально-психологической подготовки персонала
