Doping effect on the evolution of the pairing symmetry in n-type superconductor near antiferromagnetic phase boundary

    Get PDF
We present the investigation results of the in-plane \{rho}(T) resistivity tensor at the temperature range 0.4-40 K in magnetic fields up to 90kOe (H||c, J||ab) for electron-doped Nd{2-x}Ce{x}CuO{4+{\delta}} with different degree of disorder near antiferromagnetic - superconducting phase boundary. We have experimentally found that for optimally doped compound both the upper critical field slope and the critical temperature decrease with increasing of the disorder parameter (d-wave pairing) while in the case of the underdoped system the critical temperature remains constant and (dHc2/dT)|Tc increases with increasing of the disorder (s-wave pairing). These features suggest a possible implementation of the complex mixture state as the (s+id)-pairing.Comment: 9 pages, 2 figure

Hall Resistivity Correlations in Disordered Electron-Doped Nd 2 - xCe xCuO 4 + δ Films

The resistivity tensor correlations ρx y(B) ∼ [ρxx(B)]β for the mixed state magnetic field dependencies of the resistivity tensor of electron-doped Nd 2 - xCe xCuO 4 + δ/SrTiO3 single-crystal films near the antiferromagnetic–superconducting phase transition and with varying degree of disorder (δ) were studied. The decrease of β from 1.2 ± 0.2 at x = 0.14 to 0.6 ± 0.1 at x = 0.15 points out on the evidence of the change from the anisotropic s-wave to the d-wave pairing symmetry in the external magnetic field at the transition from underdoped to optimally doped region. Peculiarities of the power law dependence of the vortex motion in the mixed state can be connected with some features of the non-stoichiometric disorder in layered electron-doped superconductors. © 2017, Springer Science+Business Media New York

Studying the pharmacokinetics of biotechnological medicinal products on the example of monoclonal antibodies

    Get PDF
Therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), which are developed to treat many pathologies, including cancer, autoimmune and infectious diseases, are one of the fastest growing classes of medicinal products. Given the large number of mAbs in the pipeline and continued interest from pharmaceutical companies, the mAb market is expected to continue to grow in the coming years. To maximise both the therapeutic benefit and the safety of medicinal products in this class, it is essential that their pharmacological properties be carefully characterised and understood. The aim of the study was to analyse literature data on approaches to studying the pharmacokinetics of mAbs. This review presents data on the main physicochemical and pharmacological properties of mAbs and compares them with small molecules. The article describes the influence of various factors on mAb pharmacokinetics. For example, such factors include the method of administration, hydrophilicity, and charge of the mAb, individual characteristics of the patient (body weight, plasma albumin levels, genetic characteristics, etc.), and concurrent administration of other medicinal products. The authors evaluated the role of intra- and inter-individual variability of pharmacokinetic parameters. The rapid development of this group of medicinal products and the emergence of new promising molecules are indicative of the need to study the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of mAbs in detail and to maximise both the therapeutic benefit and the safety of the medicinal products in this class

© 2016, Econjournals. All rights reserved. The relevance of the study is conditioned by the ways’ search to prevent the civilizations’ clash and to settle local inter-civilizational conflicts. In the context of globalization the world is increasingly integrated into a single wholeness which is constantly faced with the necessity of cultural pluralism in problems’ solving of contemporaneity. At the end of the twentieth century, with the initiative of the United Nations the idea of an “Alliance of civilizations” appeared aimed at eliminating of the gap between Muslim and Christian communities. The society demanded from research universities training of professionals, which are not only competitive in the labor market, but also possess civil position, ready to self-realization and construction of their own life in the flux of social transformations. The article is aimed at clarifying of the management peculiarities of National Research University students’ socialization as a development imperative of the cultures’ dialogue and civilizations’ partnership. The leading method is the method of action research, allowing to obtain new knowledge about the interaction processes of socialization, cultures’ dialogue and civilizations’ partnership and to develop the management mechanism of National Research University students’ socialization as a development imperative of the cultures’ dialogue and civilizations’ partnership. The article reveals the essence of socialization, cultures’ dialogue and civilizations’ partnership; gives the characteristic of professional education as agent of socialization; clarifies universal mechanisms of socialization (traditional, institutional, stylized, interpersonal, reflexive); determines pedagogical principles (dialectic inclusion of national culture in national and world culture system, multicultural identity and self-actualization of personality, axiological, multiculturalism) of management of National Research University students’ socialization as a development imperative of the cultures’ dialogue and civilizations’ partnership; clarifies pedagogical tools (content and technology) and pedagogical conditions (inclusion in the educational content of the educational material that provides the dialectical relationship between national identity of the learners with the development of social and moral norms of behavior; formation of the system of cultural imperatives; the formation of an integrated poly-cultural worldview in all agents of socialization) of management effectiveness in National Research University students’ socialization as a development imperative of the cultures’ dialogue and civilizations’ partnership; presents the developed management mechanism in the socialization of students of National Research University as a development imperative of the dialogue of cultures and partnership of civilizations. The paper submissions can be useful for teachers of research universities; specialists of centers of qualification improvement and personnel retraining the selection and structuring of the content for the training of scientific and pedagogical staff of research universities
