The impact of folk games on primary school students

    Get PDF
Kazakhstan's efforts to expand its physical culture have brought tremendous benefits. However, there are still unresolved issues in the teaching of physical education in our country's schools. Despite many ethnic and cultural traditions, combining learning opportunities in the classroom is ineffective. Domestic experience in sports is underutilized due to a lack of educational literature and scientific evidence that supports the use of traditional outdoor sports. The purpose of this study is to improve the motor abilities of young children by using carefully selected traditional outdoor sports. A study on the use of folk games in working with children in primary schools found that teachers' knowledge of the possibilities of folk games is inadequate. Finally, the findings suggest that incorporating traditional games into the physical education curriculum for students in lower grades can serve as a model for healthy lifestyles. Various types of games and exercises help to improve physiological systems, physical development and physical fitness in children and foster positive moral and volitional qualities

The EU and China’s Strategies in Central Asia: Focus on Energy and Transport

    Get PDF
In 1991, there was a turning point in world history - the collapse of the Soviet Union and the emergence of newly independent states. Soon after the establishment of diplomatic relations between Central Asian states and the European Union, the EU has been the most active actor in Central Asia, especially in Kazakhstan. The EU is a main trading partner of Kazakhstan and a major source of investments. Nevertheless, the EU’s strategy has been barely visible in Central Asia that is unknown to the general public and has much greater ambitions that it actually can deliver. In contrast, China’s Central Asia strategy is more focused based on regular interactions between China’s and Central Asian representatives, the state authorities, and experts and analysts. Moreover, China’s strategy has a bilateral approach towards the region rather than a general dialogue with the whole region. By examining both countries’ strategies in Central Asia, this research note aims to identify and analyze what actions will the EU and China take in order to gain access to the region’s energy resources and to strengthen their influence in the region

With the rapid development of conversational agents, there is a need to create models that can understand human requests and respond effectively to them. This thesis explores the process of fine-tuning a pre-trained BLOOM language model with 3 billion parameters for use in a chatbot question-answering system. The study was conducted using both quantitative and qualitative assessment methods, including analysis of keyword relevance, text readability, and sentiment analysis of model responses. Methods for optimizing memory use for loading and configuring the model were also discussed and were found to be effective in saving resources. The results of fine-tuning the BLOOM model are promising in terms of relevance, readability and tone of responses. In summary, this study demonstrates the potential of fine-tuning large pretrained models such as BLOOM to create effective question answering systems in chatbots, but more research is needed to further adapt to different contexts and refine aspects of model behavior

China\u27s Multilateral Cooperation: The View from Kazakhstan

    Get PDF
The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of the New Silk Road to China as part of its ‘Peripheral Diplomacy’ (zhoubian) to promote trade, financial, and social ties with its neighboring states, which could be developed due to the limitations within, and by the framework of, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Inhibited by the internal workings of the SCO, China decided to create its own project in Central Asia, under the name of the Silk Road Economic Belt (SREB), in order to expand its economic strategy. The majority of prior research on the SCO focuses on different areas of cooperation, but fails to consider the confrontation between China and Russia within the organization, and the desire of China to expand its economic strategy in Central Asia through the New Silk Road Strategy

Examining the Trends in Bank Deposits through Internal and External Factors based on the Supply Chain Strategies: A Primary and Secondary Data Survey

Abstract- The banking sector is the basis of the economy of any country which relies on the supply chain strategies. Funding plays a significant role in the activities of banks, in the structure of which deposits to this day remain the cheapest and most significant resources. Bank deposits are also a major part of the country's savings. The level of bank deposits allows us to judge the quality of funding of second-tier banks. The level of attracting deposits is influenced by many external and internal factors of an economic, political, social nature. An analysis of the studies available in the economic literature shows either a one-sided study of factors affecting bank deposits and the use of mainly linear regression, or a study of factors on deposits of the country's banking sector as a whole. However, this approach does not allow us to see the degree of dependence of the level of deposits on various factors for individual banks, which is much more important when evaluating funding. The author presents an attempt to analyze the influence of external and internal factors on the level of the deposit base of individual second-tier banks in Kazakhstan using ridge regression and ANOVA. In addition, our study has provided the primary data analyses, covering the impact of supply chain management and green supply chain adoption on the banking sector deposits. It is found that some factors of supply chain management and green supply chain adoption are positively impacting on bank’s deposit while others are found to be non-significant determinants for predicting the deposits of the banks. However, supply chain management (6th item) is adversely impacting on the first and second measure of bank’s deposit. Similar trend is observed by green supply chain adoption (5th item) on first and third measure of bank’s deposits in Kazakhstan

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of special training technology in the formation of the pedagogical ethics of future teachers, the problem of a regional university in the formation of pedagogical ethics among students and how the entire formation pedagogical ethics process takes place. The study included 102 students (aged 18–22) with pedagogical profiles who were all present. Expert assessment method, a scaling method for studying the level of formedness of the future teacher’s professional ethics, a survey of students and teachers (questions with attached assessment characteristics), questioning, including the ranking of value orientations and observation of the process of pedagogical ethics formation among future teachers were used. The revealed results have shown that the propensity and willingness of students for future pedagogical activity, their desire for continuous self-education and self-improvement as well as a creative and responsible attitude towards their profession have not been formed. It was necessary to involve future teachers in a specially designed programme aimed at developing pedagogical ethics as a method of self-regulation in the educational process and within the framework of the organisation of students’ extracurricular activities

© 2015 by iSER, International Society of Educational Research. The relevance of the present study is due to the tasks of assessing the quality of secondary education, which determine students’ subject knowledge along with their personal achievements, and where meta-subject skills define not only the level of educational results achieved, but also the prospects for the future high-quality training for a school graduate at any age. Thus, the purpose of the study conducted is to create approaches for making the system of tasks together with the criteria of their assessment to determine the level of students’ meta-subject results. The leading methods applied are modeling systems of open type tasks, with mathematical content and systematic analysis of large samples of experimental data, based on the evaluation of the two-point scale four parameters: the optimality of students’ proposed ideas, efficiency of reasoning, originality of their answer and development degree of their solutions. A pilot study conducted since 2008 has applied open tasks with mathematical content and the criteria for their assessment formed the approach to determine the level of high school students’ meta-subject results, expressed quantitatively in the form of an integrated assessment of the relative character – meta-subject intelligence quotient. Practical use of the intelligence quotient enables the making of accurate calculations for each age group in order to show the level of students’ meta-subject results. This in turn may determine the future direction of students’ individual development, and to ensure their transition to a higher level of meta-subject skills and, consequently, higher quality of education

Ensuring Healthcare Efficiency in the Context of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Staff Regulation

    Get PDF
This article aims to substantiate the impact of socio-economic labor protection for healthcare professionals based on developing legislative regulations in some OECD and EAEU countries and identifying their relationship with the efficiency of healthcare systems. The methodology includes general scientific methods (systemic analysis, synthesis, comparison, abstraction, induction, deduction, and modeling) and special research methods (formal logical, structural, and functional). The results of international rankings evaluating healthcare systems were used to determine the list of states for comparative legal analysis. Also, empirical methods were used: meetings, questionnaire surveys, and interviews held in 2021 with medical and pharmaceutical workers in Kazakhstan. The research results showed that states with special labor regulations for medical and pharmaceutical personnel occupy stable leading positions in international rankings regarding healthcare evaluation. On the other hand, based on the example of the EAEU countries with an insufficient level of specialization in labor regulation for these categories of workers, some states occupy weak positions in similar international ratings. This paper is novel because previously, there was no debate in the literature justifying the finding that specifics in the labor regulation of medical and pharmaceutical staff, along with other factors, influence the healthcare system's efficiency and development. Doi: 10.28991/ESJ-2022-06-06-05 Full Text: PD
