Online food deliveries are third-party tools that facilitate for online purchase and delivery, present an alternate way of ordering that looks to be gaining traction. This study will examine consumer acceptance behaviour towards food delivery application (FDA) during pandemic COVID-19 and the factor that lead them to accept or reject of using FDA. This study also will identify food delivery service applications that usually consumer use. This study will focus on Northern Malaysia, Kulim area which is covering the rural and urban areas. In order to achieve this study, the researcher has used a qualitative method which is data collected through semi-structured interviews. The result shows that there are four factors that contribute to the acceptance and rejection of online food delivery applications which is time, quality, safety, and price. Furthermore, there are four respondents that accept and one respondent rejects using FDA. The most favorite application that consumers use is Food Panda. The FDA helps many consumers during this pandemic season. Therefore, a variety of applications and service improvements are needed to provide customer satisfaction

Background: Cardamonin is a naturally occurring chalcone from the Alpinia species. It is known to possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Our previous studies have shown that cardamonin has antihyperalgesic and antiallodynic effects on CCI-induced neuropathic pain in mice. Although the evidence of the association between cardamonin and neuropathic pain has been reported in animal studies, specific targets using in vitro models are still lacking. Objectives/Methods: This study aims to investigate the effect of cardamonin on nitric oxide production using the LPS-induced neuropathic pain-like SH-SY5Y in vitro model through NMDA receptor expression. Results: Cardamonin administration in differentiated SH-SY5Y cells significantly reduced nitric oxide production assessed using Griess reagent. Western blot analysis demonstrated a significant reduction in GluN2B receptor expression in the cardamonin treated SH-SY5Y cells compared to the vehicle treated group. Conclusions: These data suggest that cardamonin reduces nitric oxide production modulated through NMDA GluN2B receptor subunit. Our results provides preliminary data to support the in vivo studies using cardamonin and may contribute to further understanding the mechanisms of action of cardamonin

COVID-19 has become a worldwide issue that correlates with the expansion of work and family issues such as work-family conflict and job satisfaction in relation to personality trait at work. Therefore, the objective of our study was to investigate the relationship between work-family conflict, accommodative and indulgence personality and job satisfaction among employees, specifically the Malay employees. A total of 305 married Malay employees with at least a child under 6 years old were recruited via purposive sampling in the present cross-sectional survey-based study. The participants answered online questionnaires consisting of the Work-family Conflict Scale, Malay Work-Based Personality Inventory, and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire. The results indicated that accommodative (r =.55) and indulgence personality (r =.62) were positively correlated with job satisfaction, while work-family conflict was negatively correlated with job satisfaction (r = -.20) among Malay employees. The findings suggest that results from this study may provide a reference for the policy makers to design specific strategies for this target group in coping with work and family issues during the pandemic

Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is essential to the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation especially in the construction industry since the government mandate, it has become the key towards this perception as an obstacle of success. While innumerable studies focus on the way contractors, consultants and stakeholder acceptance towards BIM, therefore, it becomes a method for improvisation. However, up until present, limitation have been found for government staffs and perceptions regarding this manner. As to affirm, the government as well as its organization are the backbone of BIM utilization for every country. Research has shown that BIM is also influenced by the one who holds the authority by government mandating its usage strategies, and that representations are generally more effective than appeals from other users. Thus, this study aims and focuses on examines the emerging role of government organizations in the context of perceptions and acceptance towards BIM as well as the readiness of government mandate in facing challenges for Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation in Malaysia. In this study, an online survey was distributed to government staffs that currently uses BIM across Malaysia. The obtained data were analyzed by statistical tools of IBM SPSS 28 to empirically test the correlation and impact of the proposed variable. The results showed that the TAM for BIM and well-structured government mandate will affect the challenges in BIM implementation. This paper has been organised in the following way. Starts with introduction, literature review, methodology, results and discussions. Finished with conclusions accordingly. Additionally, acceptance of BIM technology would initiate of minimizing the challenges faced by government staffs in Malaysia that involve in BIM. Good obtained values for TAM and government mandate variables in explanatory power, concluded this study. Further research is needed in this area of study to identify well-planned roadmap and proper guideline for government staffs in strengthening the effectiveness of BIM implementation in the future

E-learning is the learning styles that using internet to provide education information to the users according the development of technology. It also can access by using any electronic media. Nowadays, many students are often dissatisfied with the e-learning experience because the process of e-learning is less efficient than face to face learning. Therefore, a survey was conducted to identify the relationship between (learner computer anxiety, course flexibility and perceived usefulness) and perceived e-learners satisfaction and to determine the significant influence of (learner computer anxiety, course flexibility and perceived usefulness) on perceived e-learners satisfaction. A cross-sectional study with two-stage cluster sampling was applied in this study. A validated online questionnaire was distributed to 263 students from selected clusters. There are several method of data analyses was applied for this research such as Pearson’s Correlation and Multiple Linear Regression. This study shows there is a positive weak linear relationship between course flexibility and perceived e-learner satisfaction. While, computer anxiety and perceived usefulness have positive moderate linear relationship towards perceived e-learner satisfaction. Factors influenced the perceived e-learners satisfaction were computer anxiety and perceived usefulness with perceived usefulness was the most influenced factor. In conclusion, since the perceived usefulness is affecting the most of the perceived e-learners satisfaction, the university management can improved e-learning system with user friendly basis to attract the e-learners to use the system for reading, downloading learning material and interacting to participate in discussion, chatting and emailing. This can improve their academic performance and allowing them to learn effectively

INTRODUCTION: COVID-19 pandemic has caused a major impact to global public health including one of the high risk groups which is the medical students. This study was intended to assess knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) towards COVID-19 among medical students in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). MATERIAL AND METHOD: An online cross-sectional study was conducted among 438 medical students of IIUM from 6th July 2020 to 9th July 2020. KAP towards COVID-19 was measured using a structured Malay and English version questionnaire consisting of 13 items on knowledge, 3 items on attitudes and 3 items on practices. RESULTS: The average correct response rate on knowledge was 85.4%. Only 12.1% of the students had correct knowledge on all items, and 1 in every 4 and 5 students had misconceptions on the clinical features and transmission of COVID-19. In term of attitudes towards COVID-19, majority of the respondents believed that COVID-19 would be effectively controlled (85%) and had faith that Malaysia could overcome the war against COVID-19 (99%). Most of the respondents practiced good towards COVID-19 in avoiding crowded places (90%), wearing face masks (95%) and practicing hand hygiene (91.6%). CONCLUSION: Although the results are positive towards KAP, only 1 in every 10 students responded correctly to all knowledge questions, and few proportions had misconceptions on the disease and did not maintain adequate practices. Policies aimed at appropriate health promotion activities may ensure empowering the medical students with adequate knowledge on all aspects of COVID-19, and practice properly following the standard operating procedure implemented by the government
