PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PROTOCOLS DEVELOPED FOR ADOLESCENT SCHOOLCHILDREN

Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of global mortality, and the risk factor for cardiovascular disease is associated with atherosclerotic progression, not only in youth but also in early adulthood. Researchers point out that there is a need to identify effective interventions that can modulate such risk factors early in life for the primary prevention of atherosclerosis. Objective: To identify the existing physical activity protocols that can be optimized for the health of children and adolescents within the school environment. Methodological path: The present is a systematic review of the scientific literature in which research results obtained from articles found in the following online databases were generated: PUBMED, SciELO, Capes Portal, and Virtual Health Library. After stratifying the selected studies, a final sample of 7 studies was obtained. Results: Among the findings in the research, two types of different physical activity protocols are included: the first being resistance training protocols and the second being high-intensity interval training, which included trial researches and clinical trials, in which the adolescents participated in the two aforementioned training sessions. There were also studies in which the student performed the protocol of continuous moderate-intensity exercises and received nutritional counseling. There were also programs carried out in several schools that encourage the practice of physical activity at school to improve the cardiorespiratory fitness of adolescents. Conclusion: The study demonstrates the need for research that establishes regional intraschool activity protocols capable of impacting the reduction of cardiovascular risk, and preventing future health complications of these adolescents, such as acute myocardial infarctions and strokes, especially in the school environment since it is the place where this population gathers for the longest time, and healthy lifestyle habits should be promoted in this space.  Article visualizations

A importância da resiliência na enfermagem em oncologia/ The importance of resilience in oncology nursing

O objetivo primário desse estudo é analisar estudos que versem sobre os profissionais de enfermagem na construção da resiliência na enfermagem em oncologia, buscando descrever as competências que são utilizadas pelos profissionais de enfermagem para a construção da resiliência no que se refere à oncologia, compreendendo as estratégias usadas pelos profissionais de enfermagem no método de construção de resiliência. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, em que a busca por artigos foi realizada nas bases de dados: Google Scholar, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde e SciELO, utilizando o cruzamento dos descritores em Ciências da Saúde: Enfermagem, Oncologia e Assistência utilizando o booleano AND como conectivo destes. Resultados: A resiliência pode ser usada para promover as atuações da Enfermagem, provocando transformações particulares e melhoras nas relações de trabalho e, por conseguinte, uma melhor qualidade de atendimento sendo prestada por esses profissionais

Diabetes Gestacional: Origem, Prevenção e Riscos / Gestational Diabetes: Origin, Prevention and Risks

O diabetes mellitus gestacional (DMG) é considerado um problema de saúde pública, é por ser uma doença que apresenta disfunção metabólica bastante no período comum gestacional. Objetivo: Evidenciar os aspectos intrínsecos ao diabetes mellitus gestacional, descrevendo a importância do enfermeiro na prevenção e tratamento da diabetes gestacional. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa da literatura, em que se buscou evidências científicas por meio de artigos em diversas bases de dados.Resultados: Ficou evidenciado que o enfermeiro tem como responsabilidade a realização da assistência à saúde da gestante com humanização, realizando consultas que usufruir desse momento de forma natural, sanando suas dúvidas, buscando junto com o paciente meios de fazer com que a saúde prevaleça, e se reduza no máximo os riscos. 

Simultaneous presentation of trichotillomania and neurotic excoriation in a schizophrenic patient: case report: Apresentação simultânea de tricotilomania e escoriação neurótica em paciente esquizofrênico: relato de caso

The present report aims to describe the case of a patient with excoriation disorder and trichotillomania comorbid with schizophrenia. This is a patient diagnosed with schizophrenia more than 30 years ago and who had a stabilized psychic condition. In one of his periodic evaluations, he began to demonstrate compulsive acts of picking at the skin and from then onwards, lesions appeared on the face, upper limbs and scalp with progressive involvement of other regions. The approach of these mental disorders represented a challenge, because despite a growing number of studies, clinical and therapeutic questions remain open

A Deep Insight into the Sialome of Rhodnius neglectus, a vector of chagas disease

Background Triatomines are hematophagous insects that act as vectors of Chagas disease. Rhodnius neglectus is one of these kissing bugs found, contributing to the transmission of this American trypanosomiasis. The saliva of hematophagous arthropods contains bioactive molecules responsible for counteracting host haemostatic, inflammatory, and immuneresponses. Methods/Principal Findings Next generation sequencing and mass spectrometry-based protein identification were performed to investigate the content of triatomine R. neglectus saliva.We deposited 4,230 coding DNA sequences (CDS) in GenBank. A set of 636 CDS of proteins of putative secretory nature was extracted from the assembled reads, 73 of them confirmed by proteomic analysis. The sialome of R. neglectus was characterized and serine protease transcripts detected. The presence of ubiquitous protein families was revealed, including lipocalins, serine protease inhibitors, and antigen-5. Metalloproteases, disintegrins, and odorant binding protein families were less abundant. Conclusions/Significance The data presented improve our understanding of hematophagous arthropod sialomes, and aid in understanding hematophagy and the complex interplay among vectors and their vertebrate hosts

ASSÉDIO MORAL NO AMBIENTE LABORAL: O CONTEXTO DOS ABUSOS PSICOLÓGICOS CONTRA AS MULHERES

Embora historicamente as mulheres lutem por direitos igualitários, ainda hoje elas são tratadas de forma desigual, vistas como inferiores e menos capazes do que os homens. Sendo, portanto, alvo de situações constrangedoras, hostis, humilhantes e violências diversas, em especial, como o assédio moral. Este artigo objetiva caracterizar a ocorrência de assédio moral contra mulheres atuantes no mercado de trabalho formal brasileiro. A pesquisa foi classificada como quanti-quali e descritiva. Os dados foram coletados por um questionário (411 respostas), divulgado nas redes sociais e por e-mail, além de três entrevistas individuais. Para análise de dados, foram realizadas estatísticas descritivas e análise de conteúdo. Constatou-se que 20% sofrem por situações relacionadas a deterioração proposital das condições de trabalho, 15% de isolamento e recusa de comunicação, 24% de atentado contra a dignidade e 12% de violência verbal, física e sexual, tendo como agressores chefes (70%) e homens (57,1%). Para as participantes, o motivo preponderante da ocorrência da violência foi devido a serem mulheres. Conclui-se que, a construção de políticas e ações de proteção a mulher, contra essa desigualdade, é fundamental. Bem como, atentar para mudar a cultura organizacional, local e nacional, que alimenta e reproduz essa forma de violência
