Prosperous society is the goal of all religions and purpose of a nation. The spirit of nationality becomes important because of the plurality of the nation of ethnic factors, culture, region, religion, race and class. The spirit of nationality is intended as a spirit, soul and creation activities unity of Indonesia
Confinement-Deconfinement Transition as an Indication of Spin-Liquid-Type Behavior in NaIrO
We use ultrafast optical spectroscopy to observe binding of charged
single-particle excitations (SE) in the magnetically frustrated Mott insulator
NaIrO. Above the antiferromagnetic ordering temperature () the
system response is due to both Hubbard excitons (HE) and their constituent
unpaired SE. The SE response becomes strongly suppressed immediately below
. We argue that this increase in binding energy is due to a unique
interplay between the frustrated Kitaev and the weak Heisenberg-type ordering
term in the Hamiltonian, mediating an effective interaction between the
spin-singlet SE. This interaction grows with distance causing the SE to become
trapped in the HE, similar to quark confinement inside hadrons. This binding of
charged particles, induced by magnetic ordering, is a result of a
confinement-deconfinement transition of spin excitations. This observation
provides evidence for spin liquid type behavior which is expected in
NaIrO.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figure
Spectra and fine spectra of the upper triangular band matrix U(a; 0; b) on the Hahn sequence space
The aim of this paper is to obtain the spectra and fine spectra of the matrix (U(a;0;b)) on the Hahn space. Also, we explore some ideas of how to study the problem for a general form of the matrix, namely, the matrix (U(a_{0},a_{2},…,a_{n-1};0;b_{0},b_{1},…,b_{n-1})) where the non-zero diagonals are the entries of an oscillatory sequence
The effectiveness of word wall media in improving the students' vocabulary mastery: Quasi-experimental study in the 7th grade students of SMPN 46 Bandung
Vocabulary is an important aspect of learning the language. In learning vocabulary, students’ vocabulary was still weak and they have not enough understood to differentiating, such as noun, adjective, and verb. It was proved the result of the students’ pre-test in a preliminary study. The mean score was 55.00, while Students’ Community Service (KKM) was 73.00. Students need vocabulary mastery in learning English. Therefore, the effectiveness of media is important to improve students’ vocabulary mastery and it should make a study of interest to students in the class. In this research, the writer decided to try word wall media to improve student’s vocabulary in this problem. The aims of this research are: (1) to find out the students’ vocabulary mastery before taught by using word wall, (2) to find out the students’ vocabulary mastery after taught by using word wall, and (3) to find out the significant different between students’ mastery on vocabulary before and after taught by using word wall. The method of this research is a quantitative method and research design uses quasi-experimental with one group of pre-test and post-test design. This research was conducted at SMPN 46 Bandung. The total number of population is 259 students and the sample was taken by this research from class VIII-F with 32 students. The sampling technique was non-random sampling. In this study, the experimental was selected by an English teacher in the school. The test included pre-test and post-test. The pre-test and post-test were the questions related to vocabulary using word wall. Data analysis operated the statistical calculation. The result of data analysis presents that the medium score of students’ vocabulary mastery before using word wall is 63.75, while the medium score of students’ vocabulary after using word wall is 77.53. The result of calculation t-test is t count = 11.73 is bigger than t table = 2.04. It can be shown that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that there is a significant difference in students’ vocabulary mastery after using word wall. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the use of word wall is effective to improve students’ vocabulary mastery. Therefore, the use of word wall can be options to teaching vocabulary
INCREASING FREQUENCY OF DEFECATION WITH THE PROVISION OF JUICE ALOEVERA
Introduction: Bowel movements or defecation is an act or process of living creatures to remove dirt or solid stool or half-solid derived from the digestive system. Aloe vera is a plant which is believed to be effective in addressing a variety of health problems one of which is a digestive problem. This study aimed to determine the effect of aloe vera juice to the frequency of bowel in the elderly in Nursing Elderly Hargo Dedali Surabaya. Methods: The design of this study design Quasy Experimental (non equivalent control group design). The population in this study is the Overall Elderly in Nursing Hargo Dedali Surabaya Numbering 32 people and the entire sample, using total sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is the consumption of aloe vera juice while the dependent variable is the frequency of bowel in the elderly. Results: After the results given aloe vera juice mostly normal frequency by 14 elderly (87.5%) and the control group, while most of the normal frequency of bowel is not as much as 9 elderly (56.2%). Whitney test analysis man in get p value of 0.010 <α (0.05), it can be concluded that there is influence of aloe vera juice to the frequency of bowel in the elderly in Nursing elderly Hargo Dedali Surabaya. Conclussions: It is recommended this research as consideration for the community to use aloe vera juice as an alternative medicine to address frequency of bowel abnormalities.

Vacuum-assisted surgical treatment of large and complex Morel-Lavallée lesions in lower extremities
Aim: Morel-Lavallée lesion (MLL) is the separation of the skin from the deep fascia caused by shear stress after trauma and the formation of a fluid-filled cavity between the fascia layers. After the inflammation develops, a fibrous capsule develops around the serosanguineous fluid, preventing its absorption. Cavity infection, skin necrosis, and muscle, tendon, bone, and implant exposure were observed in untreated MLLs. This study presents vacuum-assisted surgical treatment for large and complex MLLs and the effects of treatment on the functionality of lower extremities.
Methods: 23 patients who were diagnosed with post-traumatic MLL in the lower extremities and underwent vacuum-assisted surgical treatment were examined. Demographic characteristics, comorbidities, smoking status, body mass index (BMI), type of trauma, anatomical location, skin characteristics of the cavity, additional injuries, duration of treatment delay, medical and surgical procedures, return to work, and social life were investigated. All cavities were evaluated using ultrasonography, and cavity volumes were measured. All patients underwent percutaneous incision drainage and radical debridement of necrotic tissues and cavities. Lower extremity function was evaluated using the lower extremity functional scale (LEFS).
Results: A total of 82.6% of patients had chronic MLLs. All patients had high-volume MLLs and functional impairment due to MMLs. The vacuum-assisted wound closure provided compression, drainage, and obliteration of the cavity alone in the treatment of MLL. Additionally, the positive effects of negative-pressure wound therapy (NPWT) on wound healing prevented complications such as recurrent MLLs, seroma, dehiscence, and graft loss. This method has also positively affected lower-extremity functionality during subsequent periods (p<0.001).
Conclusions: In treating large-volume acute and chronic MLLs, percutaneous drainage, radical debridement, cavity closure with quilting sutures, and pressure support with NPWT are reliable methods that ensure problem-free healing of MLLs. This method has also positively affected lower-extremity functionality during subsequent periods
Investigations into the mechanical cutting characteristics of some medium and high strength rocks
PhD ThesisThe method of analysis developed by Protodyakanov and
Teder has shown that different cutting tools behaved in substantially
the same manner in the wide range of rocks tested. An overall
picture of the cutting performance for picks, discs and roller cutters
has been built up, and the work reported in this thesis has been an
attempt to increase the available knowledge on cutting characteristics.
of a range of rocks. The data obtained is basic to the design of the
cutting systems for the excavation of these rock materials. The Ministry of Education, Turkey
