Design of Equipment Rack with TRIZ Method to Reduce Searching Time in Change Over Activity (Case Study : PT. Jans2en Indonesia)

Janssen is a manufacturing plant that works in furniture assembly. Component shortages often occurs, it will cause the increase of work in process (WIP) in assembly section. In previous studies, we analyze the root causes with FMEA and then it is resulted that router section is the constraint of the system. There are many non value added activities such as searching and transportation caused by a messy condition of work places and the devices that aren’t put in the right place. The impact is that the time allocated for every change over is higher than before. There are many components that are worked by the router section, so improvements are needed to minimize changes in over time. 5S method and the use of a new design of rack by TRIZ method are suggested for fixing the conditions of work environment. It is expected to eliminate non value added activities and changes in over time. Result shows that we can reduce non value activities in change over of regular components up to 41% and the elimination of this time is 41,6%. APPLICATION OF SIX SIGMA DMAIC AND KAIZEN AS A CONTROL METHOD AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PRODUCTS at PT. Sarandi Karya Nugraha. PT. Sarandi Karya Nugraha is a company that engaged in health equipment and produce a hospital furniture, such as emergency trolley. In producing an average production per month, the defective product was 12.84%. This research is used to determine the ability of the process based on product defects that exist with the approach of six sigma then be controlled by analyzing the causes of disability using the Seven Tools and seeking continuous improvement by implementing Kaizen Five-Step Plan, 5W and 1H, and the Five-M checklist. After processing the data, obtained DPMO value of 29043.41 which means that from one million opportunity there will be the possibility of disability product produced as much as 29043.41. The Company is at 3.39-sigma level with CTQ (Critical To Quality) most coarse cause paint defects that 46.5% of the total disability 7490. Organic Fertilizer Production From Cattle Waste Vermicomposting Assisted by Lumbricus Rubellus

Composting is decomposition of compound in organic waste by specific treatment using microorganism aerobically. Natural composting for producing organic fertilizer from manure and market waste utilize long time processing and less equal to the market demand. Vermicomposting is a technique to produce high quality compos fertilizer from biodegradable garbage and mixture of red worm (Lumbricus Rubellus). In conventional compos production took 8 weeks of processing time, in vermicomposting only took half processing time of conventional technique. It is occurred by red worm additional ease cellulose degradation contain in manure which is could not decomposed with composting bacteria. The purposes of this research are to investigate the effect of manure comparison to red worm growth and to evaluate the effect of comparison between manure and market waste to red worm growth. This research was conducted by vary the weight of red worm (100 gr, 200 gr, 300 gr, 400 gr, 500 gr) and market waste addition (50 gr, 100 gr, 150 gr, 200 gr, 300 gr). Moreover, 3 kg of manure was mixed by various weight of red worm, while variation of market waste addition was involved 500 gr red worm and 3 kg manure mixture. Optimum increasing weight of red worm that was obtained by 100 gr red worm addition is 160 gr within 2 weeks. In added market waste variation, the highest increasing of red worm was resulted by 50 gr market waste addition, with 60 gr increasing weight of red worm. The purpose of this study to determine the influence of financial performance with CAMEL method to total loans at PT. BPR Setia Karib Abadi Semarang.This type of research is explanatory research. In this study took a sample of 4-year quarterly financial statements of the year 2009 - 2012. Technique analysis data using simple linear regression and multiple regression, with significance testing using the t test and F test with SPSS tools 17.Based on the results of analysis of CAR variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 11.3%. KAP variables did not affect the amount of lending and contributed 0.02%. PPAP variables affect the amount of lending and influence contributed by 52.5%. ROA variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 7.2%. ROA variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 21.2%. LDR variables affect the amount of lending and influence contributed 70.7%. NPL variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 0.03%.
