Influence of small miscuts on self-ordered growth of Ge nanoislands

    No full text
Using high-resolution X-ray diffraction (HRXRD), we have investigated lateral ordering the nanoislands formed from Ge wetting layer of various thicknesses deposited on a strained Si₁₋xGex sublayer. We observed that the high lateral ordering degree is initiated by ordered modulation of non-uniform deformation fields. This modulation is induced by small (∼0.3°) misorientation of Si substrate from [001] direction. Finally, we show that the miscut can be the source of perfectly ordered nanoisland arrays in two dimensions when the growth is performed on the strained SiGe (001) sublayer. The effect of substrate miscut can be amplified tuning the deviation of buffer layer surface from [001] growth direction via increasing the Ge content

Manganese Content Control in Weld Metal During MAG Welding

The influence of the welding current and method of gas shielding in MAG welding on the content of manganese is considered in the paper. Results of study of the welded specimens of steels 45 when applying welding wire of different formulas and different types of gas shielding (traditional shielding and double-jet shielding) are given. It is found that in MAG welding the value of the welding current and the speed of the gas flow from the welding nozzle have a considerable impact on the chemical composition of the weld metal. The consumable electrode welding under double-jet gas shielding provides the directed gas-dynamics in the welding area and enables controlling the electrode metal transfer and the chemical composition of a weld

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Foeniculum vulgare Mill. collection by the content and component composition of essential oil. The study was carried out in 2017-2019. The collection is located in the experimental site of the Research Institute of Agriculture of Crimea, located in the Crimea Foothill (Krymskaya Roza village) in accordance with the developed methods. The component composition of F. vulgare essential oil was determined by the method of gas chromatography on the “Crystal 5000.2”. It was found that the essential oil content in mature F. vulgare fruits amounted to the average of 5,88± 0.10%, which was higher than in the green plants’ material - 2,36± 0.06%. The main component of the essential oil is anethole. The anethole content in essential oil from fruits was higher than from the green plants’ material: 64.9-84.3% and 33.5-74.6%, respectively. 66.0% of the analyzed samples corresponded to ISO 17412:2007 requirements. Essential oil from the green plants’ material contained more α-phellandrene compared to essential oil from fruits: 1.5-19.9% and 0.1-0.4%, respectively. According to the research results, 9 promising samples with a high content of essential oil in fruits - from 6,52 ± 0.88 to 8,10± 0.91% were distinguished

Сentral heamodynamic сondition at patients with lung cancer in the postoperative period depending on components of the infusion-transfusion therapy and an initial degree of ventilating respiratory insufficiency

The condition of the central heamodynamic at patients with lung cancers with different level of the ventilating respiratory insufficiency in the early postoperative period after application of 3 and 1,5 ml/kg of perftoran and after traditional refortan (5 ml/kg) infusion-transfusion therapy was determined. It was proved that perftoran is much more effective than pefortan. The restoration of the normodynamic type of heamodynamic after infusion of perftoran (1,5 ml/kg) to patients with the an initial level of the ventilating respiratory insufficiency of I and II degree is observed during 1st postoperative week. The restoration of the normodynamic type of heamodynamic at to patients with the initial level of the ventilating respiratory insufficiency of III degree in postoperative period is reached by using perftoran in a dose 3 ml/kg

Comparative morphological evaluation of lungs of died patients after pneumonectomy with intraoperational use of perftoran and refortan

The goal of the research was to estimate the morphological features of lungs, which develop under influence of intraoperational infusion of refortan and perftoran in oncological patients. It was used the material from 24 patients, died in early postoperative period after pneumonectomy for the reason of lung cancer. During intraoperational infusion therapy in 12 died patients refortan in dosage 5 ml/kg has been used, in other 12 cases perftoran in dosage 3 ml/kg has been used. Morphological analyze was performed with the help of electron microscopy, morphometricaland standard statistical methods. In cases with perftoran use it was observed both damages of aerohematic barrier structures and increased emission of osmiophilic substance by alveolocytes into the alveolar cavity. The last phenomenon has been estimated by us as a compensatory reaction directed on maintenance of respiratory function. In patientswith refortan treatment changes in respiratory tract condition were realized in complex of ‘dystrophic’ and destructive processes with less compensatory reaction
