The weakest weak D called DEL phenotype was able to be detected via serological adsorption elution and molecular genotyping. In this study, the freeze-thaw elution and ssp-peR were used to detect the DEL phenotype. A total of 43 RhD negative samples collected from the National Blood Centre were serologically tested for Rh phenotyping and screened for DEL phenotype by both serological freeze-thaw elution and SSP-PCR. Based on the Rh phenotyping, the 43 RhD negative samples consisted of 34 ccee phenotype, 6 Ccee phenotype, 2 ccEe phenotype and 1 CCee phenotype. No DEL phenotype was detected by serological freeze-thaw elution but 2.33% (1/43) from the samples were detected for DEL phenotype that carried the RHD1227A allele by SSP-PCR. As a conclusion, the aim of this study was accomplished by the ability to detect DEL phenotype via molecular genotyping technique in distinguishing the DEL phenotype from truly D negative but not for freeze thaw elution technique

The sustainability of an organization relies on its financial stability and its ability to demonstrate considerable transparency and accountability. Records management has a significant role in providing evidence for decision-making as well as for demonstrating transparency and accountability. Implementing records management would be costly in the absence of risk management. Unfortunately, the role of records management is hardly recognized. This research attempts to investigate the essence of records management in underpinning good governance and accountability processes as well as to identify the relationship between risk management and records management. This research adopts case study method, using interviews, observation and document analysis for data gathering. It is discovered that an integrated records management system is essential in underpinning critical governance and accountability processes such as internal and external audit, compliance, risk management and decision making

The Financial Master Plan (2001- 2010) aims to enhance the capacity of banking industry so that higher effic iency and productivity can be reaped in the future. This study seeks to determine the impact of merger on the efficiency and productivity ofcommercial banks in Malaysia for the period 1995 until 2005. The study uses a non-parametric approach, nam ely DEA (data envelopment analysis?) to estimate the efficiency scores and to construct the Malmquist productivity index. To enable this estimation, three bank inputs and outputs are used. Amongst the findings are those banks exhibit higher efficiency score after the merger and thefo reign banks are more efficient than the local banks. Productivity of the banks is calculated in both periods, before and after the merger: The results show that, it is the local banks that have improved the most after the merger. The main source of productivity is technical change or innovation. The findings support the existing policy of having larger domestic banks in term of size
