Common vehicle always experience energy loss during cornering manoeuver. Thus, to ensure it did not happened especially at high speed, a study of torque vectoring and traction control need to be made since it can increase the traction control of tyres during cornering at high speed. The study of torque vectoring and traction control for an all-wheel drive electric vehicle was conducted by modelling an all-wheel drive EV in ADAMS/Car software. In addition, an optimal control algorithm will be developed for best performance to minimize energy losses using MATLAB/Simulink software. Furthermore, to prove the effectiveness of the all-wheel drive electric, the torque and traction control simulation of the all-wheel drive electric vehicle will be compared with uncontrolled electric vehicle model. According to the result, torque vectoring and traction control of in-wheel motor in all wheel drive EV can help to increase the performance of the electric vehicle during cornering manoeuver. In conclusion, this study of torque vectoring and traction control for an all-wheel drive electric vehicle will help researchers to improvise the design of the future electric vehicle in term of the vehicle performance during cornering manoeuvre

Eruca sativa (jarjeer) is an annual herb (family Brassicaceae), which contains a wide range of chemicals and minerals with nutraceutical and organoleptic characteristics. Jarjeer was generally used as a food and traditionally mainly consumed due to its aphrodisiac properties. This crop known to contain various phytochemicals such as flavonoids, phenolic acids, terpens, carotenoids, tannins, glycosides, saponins, sterols, alkaloids, and other secondary metabolites. In leaves, kaempferol and its derivatives, glucosativin, are the main flavonoids and glucosinolate, respectively, while erucic acid and glucoerucin are the main fatty acid and glucosinolate, respectively. Medicinally, the plant has antibacterial, antidiabetic, antihypertensive, antiplatelet, and antioxidant activity and stimulates hair growth and other effects. Trails on topical pharmaceutical preparations involve the use of E. sativa which had been done. These preparations include creams and waxs which are intended to be used for potentiating hair growth and skin fungal and bacterial infection

An Investigation into Customers Returns Practices: A Survey in Nottingham

Literature asserts that product acquisition is the key to a profitable reverse supply chain. Interestingly, liberal return policies have been blamed for the surge of returns and variability in the products acquired from the market. Whilst there is some research that deals with return policies amongst the supply chain players, there is limited behavioural study on the initiator of returns ¢ the consumers. This study attempts to find consumer trends, behavioural patterns and perceptions pertaining to product returns. An original 5-page questionnaire was designed to capture the different behavioural patterns and perceptions across different shopping environments and product categories. Also the questionnaire contained questions relating to past experiences and reactions. Elements of rationality, fairness, ethics and satisfaction were also probed in the questionnaire. The survey was conducted within Nottingham with a total of 214 responses. Amongst many interesting findings, the survey discovered that the frequency of returns is not linked to demographics but has a strong link to awareness of return policies. Also, those who were ethical tend to return fewer products. All in all, most consumers are satisfied with current practices of return policies and are generally rational in their expectations of a fair returns policy

A SWARA-COPRAS approach to the allocation of risk in water and sewerage public–private partnership projects in Malaysia

In a situation of growing water demand, inadequate public funding, poor asset condition and lack of maintenance in developing countries, public-private partnerships (PPPs) play an important role in the development of infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage services. The purpose of this study is to develop a quantitative approach to appropriate risk allocation, with attention directed to the impact of positive and negative factors in water and sewerage projects. The paper presents a hybrid SWARA-COPRAS approach to examine risk allocation, particularly for PPP water supply and sewerage projects in the context of Malaysia. In addition to PPP infrastructure projects, the approach has the potential to be adapted to other applications. The proposed method enables decision makers to utilise qualitative linguistic terms in the allocation of risk between the public and private sector, and to select the best strategy for risk allocation in a contract. Finally, 24 significant risks were identified: six risks would preferably be allocated to the public sector, while seven risks would be assigned to the private sector, and eleven risks would preferably be shared by both parties. The finding from this study can help the government of Malaysia to determine an attractive political strategy for private investors to support a PPP water and sewerage infrastructure project

The humeral proximal fracture is a disconnection of the humeral bone at the top which is often caused by a trauma or secondary cause of osteoporosis. Fracture usually occurs after falling in the arm position (outstrecht band), or without strong trauma to the client osteoporosis with the condition of the impact fracture in the proximal humerus. to determine the implementation of Physiotherapy in reducing pain, increase the scope of motion of the joint in the case of 1/3 proximal humerus dextra close fracture using infra red and active exercise modalities. After 3 sessions of therapy, the results of pain assessment on silent pain T1: 2 to T3: 1 were obtained, T1: 3 tenderness to T3: 2, T1: 6 motion pain to T3: 4. Then an increase in Joint Motion Scope was obtained. S: T1: 40 ° - 0 ° - 120 °, becomes T3: 45 ° - 0 ° - 125 °, F: T1: 120 ° - 0 ° - 45 °, becomes T3: 125 ° - 0 ° - 45 °, T: T1: 70 ° - 0 ° - 60 °, becomes T3: 75 ° - 0 ° - 65°
