    Islamic education and motivation of wearing jilbab of students at SMA N 8 Malang

    ABSTRACT Jilbab is a muslim women clothes, a clothe which is not tight or loose from the size of body to cover the whole woman‟s body, except face and palm until the elbow. That clothe such as smocks or coat to cover the clothes inside. In the Holy Qur‟an has been explained that Allah SWT commands to every woman to cover her aurat by material in order to avoid herself from the bad situation or crime. In this era jilbab is known by “Hijab”. Hijab which has truly meaning is to cover or barrier now it used to give meaning of jilbab or veil. Using the name “Hijab” nowadays is more accepted by modern woman than Jilbab. And hijab today is so variety, both the model and the material. Hijab today successfully motivates woman to cover her aurat, even though there are also many women who still refuse to wear hijab. In another hand besides Hijab trend, Islamic Education Teacher also has the main role to motivate students in wearing jilbab. The objectives of this study are: (1) to know the role of Islamic Education Teacher in motivating students at SMA N 8 Malang to wear jilbab, (2) to know the motivation of students at SMA N 8 Malang who wear jilbab and students who do not wear jilbab, (3) to know the opinion of Islamic Education Teacher and students of SMA N 8 Malang toward today‟s hijab trend. In achieving the objective of the study, it uses Qualitative Research with its instrument is the researcher, and the technics of collecting data are observation, interview and documentation. Analyze data by reducing irrelevant data, explain the data and take the conclusion. The result of study shows that there are several factors to motivate students in wearing jilbab, including the role of Islamic Education in appealing the obligation to wear jilbab for female students during Islamic Education lesson. Some factors which are motivate students at SMA N 8 Malang in wearing hijab: (1) the obligation for female students in SMA N 8 Malang to wear jilbab during Islamic Education lesson, (2) Organizing the religious event in school and obliging female student to wear moslem clothes, (3) The existence of Badan Da‟wah Islam (Islamic Propagation Organization) in SMA N 8 Malang that aimed to spread aboard the islamic religion for all students, (4) Personal approach by Islamic Education teacher to female student who does not wear jilbab. ABSTRAK Jilbab adalah busana muslimah, yaitu suatu pakaian yang tidak ketat atau longgar dengan ukuran yang lebih besar yang menutup seluruh tubuh perempuan, kecuali muka dan kedua telapak tangan sampai pergelangan tangan. Pakaian tersebut dapat berupa baju luar semacam mantel yang dipakai untuk menutupi pakaian dalam. Dalam Al Qur‟an pun sudah dijelaskan bahwa Allah SWT memerintahkan kepada wanita untuk menutup auratnya dengan kain agar terhindar dari fitnah. Namun di era sekarang, jilbab lebih dikenal dengan “Hijab”. Hijab yang mempunyai makna sebenarnya sebagai tabir atau pembatas, kini digunakan untuk mengartikan jilbab atau kerudung. Pemakaian nama hijab sepertinya lebih bisa diterima oleh wanita modern saat ini karena tidak terkesan kuno. Dan hijab masa kini sangat lah bervariasi mulai dari model dan bahannya. Hijab masa kini telah banyak memotivasi para wanita untuk menutup auratnya, meskipun masih saja ada wanita yang enggan berhijab. Akan tetapi dalam pendidikan tentu saja selain trend hijab, Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam juga mempunyai peran penting untuk memotivasi siswa salam berhijab. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam memotivasi siswi SMA Negeri 8 Malang untuk berhijab, (2) mengetahui motivasi berhijab siswi SMA N 8 Malang dan Alasan siswi yang tidak berhijab, (3) mengetahui pandangan Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan siswa SMA N 8 Malang terhadap trend hijab masa kini. Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, digunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan instrument kunci adalah peneliti sendiri, dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data analisis dengan cara mereduksi data yang tidak relevan, memaparkan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi siswi berhijab ada beberapa factor, termasuk peran serta Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam memberlakukan program wajib berhijab pada jam pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Beberapa factor yang memotivasi siswa SMA N 8 Malang dalam berhijab adalah: (1) Himbauan bagi siswi SMA N 8 Malang untuk memakai hijab ketika jam pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berlangsung. (2) Penyelenggaraan kegiatan keagamaan di sekolah dan mewajibkan siswa untuk berbusana muslim. (3) Adanya Badan Da‟wah Islam di SMA N 8 Malang yang bertujuan untuk mensyiarkan ajaran agama Islam bagi seluruh siswa. (4) Pendekatan secara personal oleh Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam kepada siswi yang tidak berhijab. Beberapa faktor tersebut telah mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang religious di SMA N 8 Malang, meskipun sekolah tersebut bukanlah sekolah berbasis agama Islam namun sebagian besar dari siswi telah berhijab

    Tujuan dari pendidikan karakter adalah sebuah usaha untuk menyempurnakan diri individu secara berkelanjutan dan membiasakan diir untuk menjadi invidu yang lebih baik. Demikian pula Perguruan Islam Mathali’ul Falah Kajen tingkat Ibtidaiyah yang konsisten dalam menjalankan kurikulum berbasis kearifan lokal dalam rangka menjaga dan memperbaiki moral peserta didik. Ada 9 nilai plus 1 yang terangkum dalam Nilai Dasar Shalih Akrom, yaitu Al-Khirs (curiosity), Al-Amanah (kejujuran), Al-Tawadldlu’(humbleness), Al-Istiqamah (disiplin), Al-Uswah al-Hasanah (keteladanan), Al-Zuhd (tidak berorientasi pada materi), Al-Kifah al-Mudawamah (Kejuangan), Al-I’timad ala al-Nafs (kemandirian), Al-Tawashshuth (Moderat), Al-Barakah. Nilai-nilai tersebut terefleksi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sehari-hari seperti penerapan kurikulum mandiri, hafalan, Seragam khas Banat dan Guru Perempuan, Ziarah Makam, Musalsal. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif diguanakan oleh peneliti dalam menyusun artikel ini. Fokus penelitian kualitatif ini terletak pada tujuannya, yaitu mendeskripsikan tentang segala informasi yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan sistem nilai pada pendidikan perguruan Islam yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Hasil penelitian yaitu menunjukkan bahwa teori Lickona tentang values action dapat terwujud melalui pelaksanaan program-program kegiatan di Perguruan Islam Mathali’ul Falah yang di dalamnya mengandung nilai dasar shalih akrom

    The An-Nashr method is a program owned by NU Pakis Islamic Junior High School to facilitate the students in learning to read Al-Quran properly and correctly while understanding the meaning contained in it by memorizing the Al-Qur'an verses translation. This research aimed to describe the implementation of the An-Nasr Method to improve the memorizing ability of Al-Quran verses translation of NU Pakis Islamic Junior High School Students. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this research: 1) Implementation of the an-nasr method to improve the memorizing ability of Al-Quran verses translation of NU Pakis Islamic Junior High School Students through several processes, namely planning and implementation. In planning, an initial test is carried out on students which aims to facilitate class grouping based on students' ability to read Al-Quran. Then in its implementation, it follows the An-Nashr method manual in the learning process. 2) The improvement of students' ability to memorize the translation of Al-Quran verses can be seen from the student learning journal notes. 3) Learning Evaluation of the an-nasr method implementation can be done by means of an assessment of student memorization, a warning to a supervising teacher

    Angka dispensasi nikah di kalangan masyarakat saat ini memiliki jumlah yang tinggi. Hal tersebut cukup mengkhawatirkan, mengingat dispensasi nikah selalu berkaitan dengan pernikahan dini yang dapat memberikan dampak negatif bagi pelakunya. Dibutuhkan adanya edukasi yang komperehensif kepada masyarakat sebagai upaya pencegahan maraknya dispensasi nikah di masyarakat, salah satunya dengan menggunakan psikoedukasi parenting Islami. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode PAR (Participation Action Research) di mana metode ini mengikutsertakan berbagai pihak untuk ikut terlibat dalam mengkaji segala aktivitas dan tindakan yang diadakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dalam pemahaman kader PKK Kelurahan Ketawanggede Kecamatan Lowokwaru Kota Malang terkait dispensasi nikah berikut dengan pencegahannya. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa psikoedukasi yang diberikan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman ibu-ibu kader PKK Kelurahan Ketawanggede Kecamatan Lowokwaru Kota Malang

    The relationship of aksara Jawa as local folklore with moderate and progressive Islamic education

    Aksara Jawa or what we are familiar with as hanacaraka is one of the many priceless Javanese folklores, but in line with the flow of globalization, its existence is starting to be forgotten. Even though there have been many studies on Aksara Jawa, if we look at it from the perspective of Islamic philosophy, we still rarely find it. The focus of this research is to investigate the Islamic values contained in this indigenous culture. The purpose of this research is to find a relationship between Aksara Jawa and Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative approach by utilizing ethnographic methods that depart from the existence of the Aksara Jawa that grows in the community. The process of data accumulation was carried out by library research and ethnographic interviews. The results of this study indicate that the Aksara Jawa can be used as a lesson that humans as messengers of God must put their trust or surrender to Him so that in our lives we will achieve success both in this world and in the hereafter

    Islamic Cultural History (SKI) is one of the subjects that must be understood by students in Islamic-based educational institutions. If in public schools the SKI subject is integrated into the PAI subject. To achieve maximum understanding, appropriate methods and media are needed. Using the realia and digital media is an option in an effort to build student characterin SKI subjects. The research method used a qualitative approach, namely the data obtained through observation, interviews and literature studies. The results of the study explain that the use of both realia and digital media, or mixed learning media (blended learning media) is able to contribute the forming of students’ character.     Educational advance is a thing that should happen along with the changing times. In fact, after being explored, PAI learning faces several obstacles, such as the use of methods that could be more suitable. Therefore, it affects students understanding which has implications for low learning outcomes. Thus, this research focuses on implementing the laboratory discovery learning method in PAI subjects at SMP Sunan Giri Wagir, Malang. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the laboratory discovery learning method on the subject of Glorifying Allah SWT by Obeying His Commandments. The method used in this research is a quantitative experimental method. There are 32 students in class VII A SMP Sunan Giri Wagir Malang as objects. The data were then analyzed using SPSS 26 software. The conclusion is laboratory discovery learning method is effective. The reasons are the results of the paired sample t-test; it is known that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because of the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, so it can be said that there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test of students
