    Get PDF
Calibration interval adjustment of measuring instruments is one of the urgent tasks in industries. The article represents the calibration interval calculation of the potentiometer PCB-4P according to the verifications for the 4 year period of the Metrological Department in the aviation plant. The calibration interval is shown to be increased according to the calculation of its reliability and stability of metrological characteristics

Qualitative and Quantitative Methods for Estimating the Library and Information Services

    Get PDF
An analysis of statistical data shows that attendance in the libraries falls every year, the demand of library information as the material carrier (for example books) is greatly reduced, but the information in electronic form is in demand, and every year the figures are growing significantly. This paper presents an estimation method for separate and complex indicators of the efficiency of library and information product and service rendering depending on various factors that determine service quality, timeliness and efficiency. A fuzzy logic system to transform the primary data was designed with the "Fuzzy Logic Toolbox" software using MATLAB. The methods to rank the studied factors by their importance and effect on the criteria of the efficiency of library and information product and service rendering are given. It is shown that the quality of library and information services plays an important role in development of society and influences the global socio-economic development and wellbeing. The research application contributes to the optimization of the library helps to more efficiently organize and plan their work, as well as the right to determine the direction of further investment. In addition, it enables the management of the library to identify factors that contribute to improving the efficiency of their businesses, to study the most urgent and important needs of the market library services, and also to establish the factors that currently are essential as for institutions, and for users and consumers

Improvement of the Quality of Water Purification from Hydrocarbons Using the Fibers from Recycled Thermoplastics

    Get PDF
Adsorption properties of the polymer fibers are studied. It is shown that polypropylene fiber can be successfully applied for oil spill response for filtration purification of water from hydrocarbons. Polypropylene fibers from waste polymers have higher characteristics of adsorption capacity and degree of purification of water than commercially available fiber sipron

Use of Creeping Speed Mode in Discrete Control and Measuring Equipment with Digital-Program Control

    Get PDF
The creeping speed mode is studied with calculation of the resultant vector of the flux linkage [psi]0 of the double-fed machine. It is shown that use of the double-fed machine as the actuating motor in the creeping speed mode increases the working off accuracy of the motion law. A mathematical model of the double-fed machine to study various modes of the CNC machine including the creeping speed mode is developed. The method to estimate the load parameters of the double-fed machine is presented. Practical implication of the study is confirmed by the results obtained in the evaluation of the influence of load parameters on the dynamic indicators of actuating electromotor

Physico-chemical Modification of the Fibrous Filter Nozzles for Purification Processes of Water and Air

    Get PDF
A set of experiments to study physical and chemical modification of the surface of fibers is conducted to expand the area of their application for purification of water, gas and air (including that in conditions of space). The possibility of modification of filter nozzles in the process of fiber formation by particles of coal of BAU type, copper sulfide and silver chloride is experimentally shown. The fraction of the copper sulfide powder less than 50 microns in size was crushed in a spherical mill; it was deposited on fiber at air temperature of 50Β° C and powder consumption of 0.5 g/l of air. The resulting material contained 6–18 CuS particles per 1 cm of the fiber length. An effective bactericidal fibrous material can be produced using rather cheap material – CuS and relatively cheap natural compounds of sulphides and oxides of heavy metals

Filtering in Stochastic Systems: Analysis for the case of continuous observations with memory of arbitrary multiplicity

    Get PDF
We consider stochastic systems with continuous time over observations with memory in the presence of an anomalous noise. The paper is devoted to analysis of some properties of an optimal unbiased in mean-square sense filter. In the case of anomalous noises action in the observation channel with memory, we have proved insensitivity of the filter to inaccurate knowledge of the matrix of anomalous noise intensity and its equivalence to a truncated filter constructed only over non-anomalous components of an observation vector

Electrodynamic Model of the Heart to Detect Necrotic Areas in a Human Heart

    Get PDF
To diagnose the conditions and diseases of the cardiovascular system is the main task of electrocardiology. The problem of the cardiovascular system diagnostics is caused by a complex multi-level mechanism of its functioning, and only experienced specialists are able to establish a correct diagnosis. Since the working heart is inaccessible to direct observations in real life, diagnostics of diseases is based on noninvasive methods such as electrocardiography. By assumption, weak "bursts" (micropotentials) of electrocardiographic signals in different areas are the precursors of dangerous arrhythmias. The amplitude of these signals on the body surface is insignificant and tends to be commensurate with the noise level of the measuring system. Advances in electrocardiography make it possible to generate a high resolution ECG signal and to detect the heart micropotentials. The method of modeling helps to understand causes of micropotentials in the ECG signal by selecting the model parameters. The model of the heart should allow generating a signal close to the high resolution ECG signal. The research aims to find a numerical model that allows solving the inverse problem of the heart tissue characteristics recovery using a high resolution ECG signal and CT data on the heart geometry. The proposed computer model and highly sensitive methods for the ECG measurement are the part of the hardware-software complex to detect dangerous precursors of cardiac arrhythmias

The control system of synchronous movement of the gantry crane supports

    Get PDF
The paper presents study findings on synchronization of the gantry crane support movement. Asynchrony moving speed bearings may lead to an emergency mode at the natural rate of deformed metal structure alignment. The use of separate control of asynchronous motors with the vector control method allows synchronizing the movement speed of crane supports and achieving a balance between the motors. Simulation results of various control systems are described. Recommendations regarding the system further application are given

    Get PDF
Diagnostics of cardiovascular system conditions and diseases is considered the most important task of electrocardiology. The aim of the study is to define geometric parameters of the patient heart and the synthesis of a realistic three-dimensional heart image based on a series of two-dimensional images obtained by computer tomography. The preparation and further processing of medical image data is an important initial step for further study of the heart electrodynamic activity. The problem is solved with the help of computer tomography method by preparing a series of images of the patient heart. The technique of volumetric rendering is applied to represent certain anatomical structures in a three-dimensional (3D) graphical form. It is concluded that the character of the obtained three-dimensional model of the patient heart is determined by the quality of the input data, the resolution of the tomograph, the tomographic slice thickness, the accuracy of the object boundaries determining the segmentation process and the peculiarities of medical image processing by the software applied
