    Utilization Of Educational Media In Language Learning

    Educational media is one of the aspects that determine the success of learning. Language learning uses specific learning media because it requires a unique approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the educational media used in language learning and their effectiveness. The research method used is a literature review; the article's source comes from the Scopus database. The number of articles used as data sources is 16 articles. The study results found that the learning media used in language learning were: social media, Facebook, website, mobile learning, and Android. The entire educational media utilizes technology. Only one educational medium was found that did not utilize technology, namely the use of musical instruments. The results showed that the educational media used was effective. The use of educational technology in learning provides opportunities for further development in its use strategy

    The use of social media that is rampant today also impacts the increasing use of social media in language learning. Seeing this reality, it is necessary to research to find the benefits and challenges of using social media in language learning. The research method used in this article is in the form of library research. Sources of research data are articles from the Scopus database and Google Scholar. The study results show that using social media in language learning brings good and various benefits, such as Increasing reading, writing, and vocabulary mastery to increase students' motivation. The benefits of social media in language learning are fully discussed in the text. The challenges faced are: integrating learning with social media and giving assignments during learning. The results of this study indicate the increasing use of technology in learning. Therefore, this research provides an opportunity to develop the use of social media in language learning in the future

    Learning during COVID-19 pandemic: A systematic literature review

    The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed education worldwide. Learning that is usually done offline has turned into online learning to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the latest and updated learning conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic. What kind of learning was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic, was the learning effective, how was the learning outcome, and the challenges faced. The systematic literature review is used to find answers to this article's purpose by synthesizing 53 articles selected according to the criteria. The synthesis results found that online learning was carried out using video conference as a substitute for face-to-face meetings, discussions, exams, and learning feedback using supporting applications. The internet was the direct support. Most of the learning shows significant results. Learning outcomes cannot be concluded whether it is good or not. There are many challenges during learning. It indicates that the world of education is not fully ready to transform from offline learning to online learning. A standard platform for online learning and rules of learning is required to minimize negative impacts and pay attention to the socio-emotional aspect

Results show an increasing trend in publications, with conference papers and scientific journal articles being the most common document types. The study highlights the importance of considering factors related to the learning environment, student involvement, and achievement when developing effective learning media, especially online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.     High School Students' Perceptions of Online Learning During The Covid-19 Pandemic on The Aceh Mountains

    High school learning changed from traditional (face-to-face) learning to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Students' perceptions of learning are one of the supporting factors for successful learning, including online learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of high school students towards online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and what learning media they like the most. This online survey research will explore high school students' perceptions of online learning that has taken place, for data discussion to answer research problems, a descriptive approach was used.. The research respondents were 592 students from 2 districts in the mountains of Aceh, namely Central Aceh and Bener Meriah. The results showed that high school students gave a poor perception of online learning; the learning media that students liked was the WhatsApp application. Students' loneliness causes this perception. Due to a lack of "social presence", social media as a learning medium is one solution to these problems, students choose social media to build a collaborative learning environment. Social media should be used as a learning medium, to reduce boredom due to lack of learning interaction. From the results of the research found, it appears that there is a need for improvements to the ongoing online learning system

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kimia dengan menggunakan model IBL (Inquiri- based learning) berbantuan multimedia pada materi larutan dan reaksi reduksi oksidasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan Mixed Method Research yang merupakan gabungan penelitian kaji tindak (action research) dan penelitian eksperimen (experiment research). Tahapan-tahapan dalam setiap siklus meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ekperimen yang dilakukan adalah Pre-ekperimental One Group Pretes-Posttes Design. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 70,92 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 73,07%, nilai rata-rata kognitif ini mengalami kenaikan menjadi 72,07 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 100% siklus II. Setelah dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan Pre-ekperimental One Group Pretes-Posttes Design. Dari hasil kelas eksperimen terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara bilai pretes dan nilai posttes setelah implementasi model IBL berbantuan multimedia
