Hubungan Kepribadian dan Tingkat Gejala Depresi pada Mahasiswa Tahun Kedua Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura
Latar belakang. Pengalaman akademik yang berat pada mahasiswa kedokteran dapat menyababkan mahasiswa mengalami gangguan psikologis seperti depresi hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh kepribadian. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepribadian dan tingkat gejala depresi pada mahasiswa tahun kedua program studi pendidikan dokter Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura. Metode. Penelitian analitik dengan desain penelitian potong lintang menggunakan kuesioner Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) dan kuesioner Kepribadian Big Five Inventory (BFI). Penelitian dilakukan di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Sebanyak 71 mahasiswa angkatan 2014 menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian diuji dengan uji statistik Regresi Berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 20.0. Hasil. Berdasarkan tingkat gejala depresi didapatkan sebanyak 22 orang (30,99%) dari mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter memiliki gejala depresi, sebanyak 13 orang (18,31%) memiliki tingat gejala depresi ringan, sebanyak 8 orang (11,27%) memiliki gejala depresi sedang dan untuk gejala depresi berat 1 orang (1,41%). Berdasarkan analisis regresi berganda didapatkan kepribadian yang paling kuat mempengaruhi tingkat gejala depresi adalah tipe kepribadian neurotcisim (R2= .229), di mana tipe kepribadian ini berkontribusi sebanyak 22,9% dalam tingkat gejala depresi. Kesimpulan. Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara dimensi kepribadian neuroticism berkontribusi terhadap tingkat gejala depresi pada Mahasiswa Tahun Kedua Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura
Kesalahan Berbahasa pada Teks Eksposisi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Babussalam Pekanbaru
Bahasa merupakan nikmat yang tidak ternilai harganya. Bahasa diciptakan oleh Allah Subhanahuwa Ta'ala untuk memudahkan manusia saling mengenal. Bahasa berdasarkan bentuk penggunaannya terbagi menjadi dua jenis yaitu (1) ragam bahasa lisan dan (2) ragam bahasa tulisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tataran-tataran kesalahan berbahasa di bidang taksonomi linguistik yang terdapat pada teks eksposisi karangan siswa kelas VIII SMP Babussalam, Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pekanbaru dengan memanfaatkan sumber-sumber buku yang dimiliki dengan kajian pustaka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Ditemukan 260 kesalahan taksonomi linguistik dari 94 karangan siswa di antaranya sebanyak 39 kesalahan tataran fonologi, 115 kesalahan morfologi, 19 kesalahan frasa, 2 kesalahan klausa, 79 kesalahan sintaksis, dan 7 kesalahan semantik. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesalahan berbahasa taksonomi linguistic yang paling umum terjadi adalah kesalahan pada tataran morfologi dan yang paling sedikit terdapat pada tataran semantik
The Effect of Different Salinity on Density and Carotenoid Content Dunaliella Salina
Dunaliella salina is a microalga containing carotenoids. Carorenoids have a role in the absorption of light for photosynthesis, carotenoids also function in coloring for aquaculture animals. Carotenoids is influenced by a variety of environmental factors, such as salinity. This study aims to get the best salinity in increasing the density and carotenoid content of D. salina. The research method used is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of One factor with four improvements, to reduce the level of error then repeated three times. This research was conducted in March to May 2019 in the Laboratory Natural Feed Brackish Water Aquaculture Development Center (BBPBAP) located in Jepara Bulu Village, Jepara District, Jepara Regency, Central Java Province. Carotenoid analysis done in the Lab. Primary Chem-Mix located in Kretek, Jambidan, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The treatment in this study included P1 (salinity 20 ppt), P2 (salinity 30 ppt), P3 (salinity 40 ppt) and P4 (salinity 50 ppt). The results showed that the cell ratio was highest filled in P2 with a concentration reaching 664.86 x 104 cells/mL and contents the highest carotenoid in P4 is 1.4769 μg/m
The Use of Talking Chips Technique to Improve Students\u27 Speaking Ability
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa setelah diajarkan dengan teknik Talking Chips. Pelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dilaksanakan pada kelas XI ISOS 3 berjumlah 32 siswa. Peneliti menggunakan tes berbicara dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa setelah diajarkan dengan menggunakan teknik Talking Chips. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dari pretest ke postes yaitu 60 ke 73.3. Selain itu aspek berbicara yang paling meningkat menggunakan teknik ini adalah pemahaman. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil setiap aspek berbicara dimana pemahaman meningkat paling besar yaitu dari 12.6 menjadi 15.8. Oleh karena itu, teknik Talking Chips baik digunakan untuk mengajarkan berbicara terlebih untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman siswa.This research was aimed at finding out whether there was a significant improvement in students\u27 speaking ability after being taught through Talking Chips Technique. This research used quantitative approach and was conducted to 32 students in class XI ISOS 3. The researcher administered speaking test to collect the data. The result showed that there was an improvement in students\u27 speaking ability after being taught through Talking Chips Technique. It could be seen from the increase of students\u27 mean score from pre-test to posttest, 60 to 73.3. Besides, the most improvement of each speaking aspect was comprehension. This could be seen from the result of each aspect which showed that the highest improvement was comprehension from 12.6 to 15.8. The T-test revealed those result were significant because p < 0.05, p = .000. Thus, Talking Chips Technique is one of the appropriate techniques to improve students\u27 speaking ability

Efektivitas Metode Pembelajaran Pemecahan Masalah (Problem Solving) Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Mataram Tahun Pembelajaran 2010/2011
: This research is aimed to analyze the effectiveness of problem solving methods to increase biological learning attainment of grade X student of Mataram High School in The Academic Year 2010/2011. This research used quasi experiment design. The population of the research was grade X students of Mataram Senior High School 3 in The Year 2010/2011. The samples of the research were 2 classes of 12 classes of grade X students. Student of the X10 was treated as experimental class and student of the X12 were untreated as control class. Simple random sampling was used to determined the sample, and observation sheet both of teacher and students were used as instrument in this research. Pretest was held to get information about students background knowledge of both classes and post test was held to know student achievement after given the treatment. The data of cognitive assessment was analysed using t- test polled variance according to difference between pretest and post test score. The result showed that everage score in experiment class was higher than the control class for both pretest or post test score. However, the t-test analyze suggest that the achievement of cognitive score was significantly in experimental class than the control class. The student assessment data of affective aspect was analyzed using score scale while psychomotoric aspect was analyzed using likert scale. The result shows that the experimental class achieved higher scale of category then the control class as this class achieved only medium and low category scale. This suggest that the application of problem solving learning methods was effective for increasing biological learning attainment of grade X student of Mataram Senior High School 3 in The Year of 2010/2011
