    The influence of the industrial complex on the atmospheric air in the Sverdlovsk region

    The work is dedicated to studying the level dynamics of polluting substances emissions into the atmosphere of Yekaterinburg city and the Sverdlovsk region in the period of 2012-2016. In the process of our work we found out an insignificant reduction of main indicators values such as SI, HR, and IPA to estimate the atmospheric air quality. Nevertheless, the level of the air pollution in Yekaterinburg city remained high in the stated period. We also suggested some methods to reduce enterprises emissions in the article, which will lead to improving the air quality. In the result of our work it was established that the main pollutants are suspended particles, nitrogen dioxides, phenol, and benzene. Moreover, the connection between the atmospheric air pollution degree and the Sverdlovsk region population's health was determined. Β© 2018 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved

    Frameworks for Formation and Stability of Kurgan Regional Arboretum Phytocenosis

    The article is devoted to solving the problem of biodiversity conservation in the framework of increasing sustainability of natural plant communities in arboretum being an artificial protected area. Research and application have accumulated significant knowledge on various aspects of the above problem, specifically, preserving biodiversity including vegetation, monitoring biodiversity and preserving phytocenosis, plant interaction in phytocenosis, causes of disturbed biodiversity and reducing phytocenosis stability, etc. The research objective is to theorize the frameworks for phytocenosis formation, identify the factors influencing phytocenosis stability, conduct observations and experimental research on the factors affecting the formation and stability of the Kurgan regional arboretum phytocenosis. The models of the way different factors influence the resistance mechanisms of the Kurgan regional arboretum phytocenosis are built as a result of studying research materials and differ from the theoretical model in the fact that the proven distinctions were found in the ratio of limiting and background factors reflecting their regional character

    Method of technical and operational risks evaluation in the process of endoscopes reprocessing

    Purpose of the study: Analysis and evaluation of technical and operational risks of flexible endoscopes reprocessing. Materials and methods: Statistical 2016-18yy data of technical and chemicals reprocessing endoscopy rooms equipment and partially data of endoscopes technical service and repairing of Sverdlovsk regional medical facilities have been analyzed. Mathematical analysis has been performed with universal multiply sectioned Bayesian network. Results: Analysis of availability of equipment and chemical consumables evaluated that 85% of endoscopic units use manual reprocessing, which with careful competent approach shows relatively small (22,75%) technical operational risk. Most endoscopy units - 89%, use non enzymatic cleaning solutions and evaluate middle close to high (49,94%) technical operational risk due to potential fixation of micro residual organics, when aldehydes are using for high level disinfection leading for biofilms, which evidently (evidence level A) can destroy endoscopic channels. Aldehyde sare using in 82% endoscopy units, oxygen containing agents based on peracetic acid in 18%. It can be considered as relatively small (24,3%) technical operational risk if use after proper cleaning and exposure modes compliance. Conclusion: Generalized flexible endoscopes reprocessing technical operational risk can be evaluated by analysis of three main criteria: method - manual or automatic, processing chemicals - for cleaning: enzymatic or nonenzymatic, for high level disinfection: aldehydes or oxygen peracetic acid based solutions.
