MARKETING RESEARCH OF AREAS AMBIGUOUSLY DEFINED

Marketing research is an integral part of every corporate strategy, or can be used for analysing and resolving of corporate issues. His creation is very important because it shows the kind of feedback possible opportunities, identifies the consumer and provides data about future motivations, requirements and market needs. The very creation of marketing research is often not so easy. Due to the complexity of products, market diversity and technological innovation, a process diagram has been created for areas ambiguously defined by the input. The diagram defines how to proceed in marketing research in these complicated and branched areas. Due to this diagram, marketing research can be more specific and closer to the desired results. The individual diagram inputs point to possible influencing factors. Marketing research of ambiguously defined areas is becoming more systematic and objective

Processing of metal waste-sludge from the galvanizing plants

This paper deals with the possibility of obtaining zinc from waste galvanic sludge, which is formed during galvanic plating. The aim of the experimental and practical part was to obtain zinc after the leaching of galvanic sludge. Leaching was performed in sulfuric acid, nitric acid and hydrochloric acid at different temperatures and time intervals with the addition of oxidizing agents as hydrogen peroxide or ozone. A separation of the leach and filtrate using filtration followed. The leach was further processed by a precipitation of iron and other metals using various agents. After a further filtration, the electrolysis was performed in order to obtain pure zinc on the cathode at the electrical voltage of approximately 3.5 V. Leaching using a solution of sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide was also performed when the prior dissolving of a major part of zinc into the leach occurred, while iron and non-ferrous metals remained in the leaching residue. After the filtration of the leach, the electrolysis with a high zinc yield of a purity of more than 99% followed. This way seems to be an optimal one for building a semi-industrial line for galvanic sludge recycling. All the partial products, i.e., the leach, the leaching residue, the filtrate, the solid precipitate and the separated metal on the cathode were subjected to chemical analyses. The analyses results are presented in tables and graphs.Web of Science1211art. no. 194

The business environment is a profound concern for the state and institutions to make it encouraging to boost entrepreneurship. Given such relevance of the business environment, this paper aims to link selected business environment aspects to business sector. The study identified the perceived differences between sectors in the Czech and Slovak Republics and then a comparison of a similar group of firms. To shape the study, survey-based research planned and conducted in two segments of firm's (service and nonservice), covered 641 enterprises. The current research adopted factor analysis and then t-test and Mann-Whitney test to determine the results. The major findings of the study reveal that the Slovak firms in the service sector scored higher in macroeconomic environment, consumers' consumption and competition factors and lower in access to finance factor, as compared to their non-service counterparts. However, another key finding indicates that the Czech entrepreneurs' perception did not statistically differ in any selected aspects of business environment between the firms operating in service and non-service sectors. In all the cases business support was found insignificant. This paper adds to the existing literature in entrepreneurship by offering a better understanding of the linkage between business sector and business environment aspects.Internal Grant Agency of Faculty of Management and Economics, Tomas Bata University [IGA/FaME/2019/002
