Pendidik memiliki peran yaitu menciptakan generasi penerus bangsa yang berdaya saing tinggi. Setiap organisasi pendidikan memiliki, sebagai salah satu tujuan utamanya, peningkatan standar keseluruhan dari pengalaman pendidikan. Dalam hal penyelenggaraan lembaga pendidikan, keputusan diambil berdasarkan beberapa aspek pendidikan, salah satunya adalah instruktur (pengajar). Karena mereka memiliki kekuatan untuk menumbuhkan generasi warga negara yang berpengetahuan, guru merupakan komponen penting dari sistem pendidikan. Penggunaan praktik manajemen yang baik mengungkapkan perbedaan yang jelas dalam konseptualisasi kursus dan program yang disediakan oleh lembaga pendidikan yang unggul. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang karakteristik pendidik, serta perencanaan, rekrutmen, seleksi, penempatan, pelatihan dan pengembangan, evaluasi kinerja, dan penggajian. Selain itu perlu ditentukan unsur-unsur yang mendukung dan menghambat peningkatan mutu pendidikan, serta hasil yang telah diperoleh dari pengelolaan pendidik. Kajian ini didasarkan pada pengertian manajemen tenaga pendidik, yang meliputi komponen-komponen sebagai berikut: perencanaan, rekrutmen, seleksi, penempatan, pelatihan dan pengembangan, penilaian kinerja, dan remunerasi tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif sebagai metodologi penelitian. Pendekatan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik studi dokumen. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran pengawasan telah efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia madrasah, seperti melakukan penilaian kinerja guru di bawah pengawasan langsung Kepala Madrasah dan melakukan penilaian tahunan. Kepala masjid. Peran pengawas madrasah dalam peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia madrasah adalah menjaga dan membimbing guru melalui supervisi akademik atau manajerial madrasah.
