    Components of Love in Ika Natassa’s Novel Critical Eleven

    This study is concerned with the analysis of the components of love depicted in the novel Critical Eleven written by Ika Natassa in 2016. This study was conducted by applying qualitative reseach method (Creswel, 2009: 4). The analysis is based on the theory proposed by Sternberg (1986). There are three components of love portrayed in the novel covering intimacy, passion, and commitment. The result shows that all the three components of love mentioned above are vividly reflected in the novel. Intimacy is depicted through the characters named Ale and Anya, passion is also portrayed through Ale and Anya when they are going to have the first child but it died in the womb, and commitment is also illustrated through the same characters who make up their mind to declare a commitment that they will live together till the end of their life, regardless whatever might happen to them.   Keywords: components of love, intimacy, passion, commitment

    On post-Lie algebras, Lie--Butcher series and moving frames

    Pre-Lie (or Vinberg) algebras arise from flat and torsion-free connections on differential manifolds. They have been studied extensively in recent years, both from algebraic operadic points of view and through numerous applications in numerical analysis, control theory, stochastic differential equations and renormalization. Butcher series are formal power series founded on pre-Lie algebras, used in numerical analysis to study geometric properties of flows on euclidean spaces. Motivated by the analysis of flows on manifolds and homogeneous spaces, we investigate algebras arising from flat connections with constant torsion, leading to the definition of post-Lie algebras, a generalization of pre-Lie algebras. Whereas pre-Lie algebras are intimately associated with euclidean geometry, post-Lie algebras occur naturally in the differential geometry of homogeneous spaces, and are also closely related to Cartan's method of moving frames. Lie--Butcher series combine Butcher series with Lie series and are used to analyze flows on manifolds. In this paper we show that Lie--Butcher series are founded on post-Lie algebras. The functorial relations between post-Lie algebras and their enveloping algebras, called D-algebras, are explored. Furthermore, we develop new formulas for computations in free post-Lie algebras and D-algebras, based on recursions in a magma, and we show that Lie--Butcher series are related to invariants of curves described by moving frames.Comment: added discussion of post-Lie algebroid

    Karo Regency is one of the areas in North Sumatra Province that has the potential to become a tourism area, with the Vision "Realizing Karo Tourism that is advanced, Modern environmentally friendly and highly competitive by maintaining karo cultural values through the broadest participation of the community and business world to increase Regional Original Revenue "The Karo District Government has promoted through mass media such as newspapers, pamphlets, distributing brochures and promoting through blogs. However, this method is not enough to inform tourism extensively towards domestic tourists and foreign tourists. The design and manufacture of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Tourism is expected to be able to display tourist maps of Karo Regency in the form of a degital map, which can be accessed by tourists. In the Design of Web-Based Karo Tourism Geographic Information System carried out by collecting data, observing and interviewing the Secretary of the Office at the Karo District Tourism and Culture Office and designing tourism maps displayed in this system using Google Maps, the software used in building this application is PHP (Personal Home Page) as a programming language, MySQL as a database server, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 as the Design Editor.     Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk membuktikan keterkaitan antara variabel ekonomi fundamental dalam kedua sektor moneter dan nyata, dan Behaviour Equilibrium Exchange Rate (BEER) di Indonesia. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder (time series) yang bersifat makro dihimpun dari lembaga terkait dengan metode estimasi bulanan dari Januari 2009 sampai Januari 2013. Jumlah sampel yang diestimasi sebanyak 60 data dan model analisis digunakan adalah model BEER. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa Behaviour Equilibrium Exchange Rate (BEER) dipengaruhi oleh variabel sektor riil (term of trade, produktivitas, dan risiko) dengan nilai sangat tidak signifikan di level 1,17%, variabel sektor moneter (NFA), dan perbedaan antara suku bunga dalam dan luar negeri yang sangat berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap BEER di level 90,19%.Kata Kunci: Ekonomi, Fundamental, Riil, Moneter ANALYSIS OF REAL EXCHANGE RATE EQUILIBRIUM IN INDONESIA The purpose of this research is to verify the linkages between the fundamental economic variables in both real and monetary sectors, and the Behaviour Equilibrium Exchange Rate (BEER) in Indonesia. The data analysis used is the secondary data (time series), and the estimated data USAge is the monthly data about the real exchange starting from January 2009 until January 2013. Samples 60 units, and the model of analysis used is the BEER model. The result of this study indicated that the Behaviour Equilibrium Exchange Rate (BEER) is influenced by the real sector variables (the terms of trade, productivity, and risk) with the very unsignificant value at the level of 1,17%, and the monetary sector variables (net foreign assets (NFA), and the difference between domestic and foreign interest rates) which very significantly influenced the BEER at the level of 90,19%

    Backward error analysis and the substitution law for Lie group integrators

    Butcher series are combinatorial devices used in the study of numerical methods for differential equations evolving on vector spaces. More precisely, they are formal series developments of differential operators indexed over rooted trees, and can be used to represent a large class of numerical methods. The theory of backward error analysis for differential equations has a particularly nice description when applied to methods represented by Butcher series. For the study of differential equations evolving on more general manifolds, a generalization of Butcher series has been introduced, called Lie--Butcher series.     One of the health effort the society is preparing the facilities basic sanitation. Latrine healthy is an important part in preventing transmission of infection diseases originating from feces. For it, important to reck the factors associated with the use of latrines.This study aims to determine the factors associated with the utilization of latrine bucket at the Village Deli Sub Chart Medan Belawan in 2013.This type of research is a cross sectional analytic design. The population in this study were 393 families who have a latrine bucket with a sample of 100 respondents is by systematic sampling methods. Statistical test used was exact fisher test with confidence level p <0.05. This study aimed to determine the factors associated with the utilization of the bucket latrine in the Village Deli Sub Terrain Chart Belawan. The research method used is analytic cross sectional design. The sample was a family who has a latrine bucket of 100 respondents, results showed that the variables that have a relationship with the utilization of the bucket latrine is knowledge (P = 0.001), attitude (P = 0.012), education (P = 0.001), the condition of latrines (P = 0.001), water supply (P = 0.020) health (P = 0.001), and the role of community leaders (P = 0.001). Statistical analysis using exact fisher test. Conclusions of this study are all factors that have a relationship with the utilization of latrine bucket at the Village Deli Sub Chart Medan Belawan, namely knowledge, attitudes, education, latrine conditions, the role of health workers and the role of community leaders. It is therefore recommended need increased knowledge, improvement bucket latrine conditions, availability of clean water, as well as an increase in the role of health workers and community leaders in order to increase the utilization of latrine bucket

    Kebutuhan bahan bangunan semakin besar dan daerah sempit resistensi dalam pengadaan Perumahan bagi masyarakat. Untuk menekan harga bangunan, maka dilakukan pengadaan komponen lantai ringan dan lebih murah. Struktur gabungan antara kayu bangkirai dan beton diperkenalkan kepada masyarakat sebagai komponen struktur lantai menjadi salah satu kesatuan dengan konektor link geser pejantan sebuah kayu keruing yang dikenal sebagai lantai komposit. Dalam hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kekuatan batas struktur komposit kayu bangkirai - beton untuk slab.The karakteristik mekanik dan fisik bangkirai Andari keruing kayu yang mengamati dalam penelitian untuk mengetahui kualitas dan kekuatan tingkat kayu. Uji kekuatan geser dari dowel dan keruing kayu dilakukan untuk mengetahui daya dukung. Pejantan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pejantan diameter 10 mm, pejantan diameter 12 mm, pejantan diameter 16 dan keruing dimensi kayu 3 / 12. uji kekuatan dari tiga jenis pejantan dan keruing kayu dilakukan untuk kayu bangkirai. Satu tes Shear objek yang digunakan 4 konektor geser. Sebagai aplikasi dilakukan dari lantai komposit model skala 1: 2 oleh 2 variasi konektor geser jumlah pejantan dalam penelitian. Tes struktur komposit lantai berbohong pada dua dukungan sederhana (gulungan - engsel), masing-masing model slab adalah 2.000 mm panjang, lebar 250 mm, 25 mm slab beton tebal. Kedua slab komposit dengan kode tes, LTK - 1 adalah tes kode untuk 6 / 7,5 kayu bangkirai dengan 6 konektor geser, LTK - 2 adalah ujian kode untuk 6 / 7,5 kayu bangkirai dengan konektor 12 geser. Tes diamati menggunakan uji tekanan statis monoton dengan dua beban titik dan lendutan diukur menggunakan dial gauge. Sesuai dengan PKKI 1961, kayu bangkirai memenuhi tingkat kekuatan II - IV, sedangkan dari The penelitian uji sifat mekanik dan fisik, kayu bangkirai itu memenuhi tingkat kekuatan II - IV. Rata-rata dari daya dukung maksimum untuk diameter pejantan 10 mm adalah 7.250 kN, diameter pejantan 12 mm adalah 8.750 kN, diameter pejantan 16 mm adalah 21.750 kN, maka diameter dowel 12 mm dipilih sebagai konektor geser, karena memiliki rata-rata daya dukung maksimum . lantai komposit 2000 mm panjang untuk LTK - 1 bisa mendukung memuat hingga 18,84 kN, LTK - 2 dapat mendukung beban hingga 23,50 kN. Deviasi antara hasil eksperimen dan konsep teori SNI dari Bangkirai kayu komposit beton adalah sekitar 12,2340 - 15,2600%. Jadi kayu bangkirai dapat digunakan sebagai komponen dari lantai struktur komposit
