Melihat konsep pembelajaran tradisional yang dilakukan saat ini, para siswa danguru bertemu pada suatu tempat dan waktu tertentu. Sistem pembelajarantradisional ini akan tergantikan dengan sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh yanglebih praktis dan tidak terpengaruh ruang dan waktu, sehingga memberikanmanfaat untuk berbagai kalangan dari pemilik tempat kursus tidak perlumembangun infrastruktur sampai pada manfaat yang dirasakan masyarakat yaitumendapat kesempatan belajar lebih lama, yang tersajikan di dalam websitedengan bahasan meliputi membaca, menulis, percakapan. Di dalampembelajaran jarak jauh fokus utamanya adalah pelajar. Pelajar bersikap mandiridan bertanggung-jawab untuk pembelajarannya. Suasana pembelajaran jarakjauh akan memaksa pelajar memainkan peranan yang lebih aktif dalampembelajarannya. Membiasakan diri terhadap bahasa Inggris sejak usia SDmerupakan salah satu cara terbaik agar anak-anak dapat fasih berbahasa Inggrisdi kemudian hari. Hasil dari sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis web padakursus Bahasa Inggris dengan bahasa pemprograman php dan mysql untukpemprograman databasenya, ditampilkan dalam bentuk website yang didalamnya ada tomboltombol yang memudahkan siswa untuk belajar tanpa harusdidampingi oleh pengajar. Sensitivity Analysis of Transportation Production Costs in Indonesia

The transportation production cost (TPC) considerably has strong influence to the national economic condition. This paper focused on the analysis of the transportation production cost sensitivity in relation to the variation of the external affecting factor, which are fuel price, rupiah exchange rate and Bank of Indonesia interest rate. Based on the R2 values, the TPC components in general have significant correlation, with the fuel prices. However, they do not have high correlation to the fluctuation of interest rate and rupiah exchange rate. The sensitivity analysis shows that a 10% rise on fuel price would cause 6%, 2%, 7%, 2.4%, and 4.9% rise on the TPC of intercity bus, ferry ship, interisland ship, train, and airline, respectively

Analisis Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Kimia di Kelas Homogen (Studi Kasus Pembelajaran Kimia di SMA Negeri 11 Banda Aceh)

Conceptual understanding of chemistry requires the ability to represent and interpret the problems of chemicals in a form that is easy to understand. One way that allows students to learn chemistry is to implement effective learning activities. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 11 Banda Aceh. One of the schools with a homogeneous class management systems based on the same gender. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning process for the chemical held in a homogeneous class. Definition of homogeneous classes of this research is the class that is populated by students collectively have the same gender. Observations obtained is the percentage of teachers\u27 activities with a percentage of 71.42% of activities, which means that activities of teachers in the classroom in both categories (51% - 80%). Results of student feedback through a questionnaire, obtained only 32% of students from a total of 88 students who find it easy to understand the chemistry lesson taught over the years, while the remaining amount to 68% of students still find it difficult to understand the chemistry lesson. Chemistry learning in homogeneous classes requires readiness of teachers, both in the preparation of learning tools and also the ability of teachers to manage the classroom, so that learning can be effective

Analisis Efektivitas Program Promosi IMOVSES Terhadap Tingkat Penggunaan Produk Microsoft Berlisensi Pada Sivitas IPB

Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) Microsoft Open Value Subcscription for Education Solution atau IMOVSES merupakan program promosi Microsoft yang dikelola oleh IPB dalam rangka memperkenalkan sekaligus meningkatkan penggunaan produk Microsoft berlisensi kepada sivitas akademika IPB dengan cara menawarkan produk Microsoft berlisensi dengan potongan harga yang signifikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik sivitas IPB terkait keputusan penggunaan software berlisensi, menganalisis respon sivitas IPB terhadap program promosi IMOVSES, serta menganalisis efektivitas penganggaran biaya program promosi IMOVSES. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik sivitas IPB adalah chi square, untuk menganalisis respon sivitas digunakan EPIC Model dan Direct Rating Method, sedangkan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penganggaran promosi digunakan analisis regresi. EPIC Rate yang dihasilkan adalah sebesar 3,15, yang menunjukkan bahwa promosi berada pada rentang cukup efektif. Nilai direct rating (ǧ) diperoleh sebesar 64,14, yang menunjukkan bahwa promosi masuk dalam kategori baik. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah “Jumlah sivitas = 27,2+0,000027 Biaya promosi” yang menunjukan bahwa apabila biaya promosi ditambah sebesar Rp100.000,- akan menambah jumlah sivitas sebanyak 3 orang. Dibutuhkan setidaknya biaya sebesar Rp127.300.000,- untuk menjadikan program promosi efektif secara penjualan

Project-Based Learning Design for Internalization of Environmental Literacy with Islamic Values

This research aims to produce teaching and learning design to develop environmental literacy among students through project-based learning to internalize the Islamic values. The program was developed through research and development design with three phases: a preliminary study, development program, and feasibility studies. This research produces three characteristics of the teaching and learning programs i.e.: (a) Developing environmental literacy of students based on Islamic values by using project-based teaching and learning; b) Developing the main themes of ‘Green Living\u27 of which is divided into four sub-themes: ‘Save our water,\u27 ‘Save our Soil,\u27 ‘Use Eco-friendly Products\u27 and ‘Waste for Life\u27; c) Facilitating students to conduct learning activities, in order to develop scientific skills and environmental literacy. The design model was validated by experts\u27 judgment. The tests showed that this design is feasible to be used in courses. It is suggested that the theme be broadened to include other relevant themes with environmental issues. The study is recommended to be followed up with testing and implementation by integrating the themes in other relevant subjects
