Zero group velocity Lamb waves in diamond/AlN-based layered structures
The propagation of the Lamb-like modes along a diamond/AlN thin supported structure was simulated in order to exploit the intrinsic zero group velocity (ZGV) features to design high frequency electroacoustic resonators. As the ZGV points are associated with an intrinsic energy localization under the metal electrodes, acoustic micro-resonators can be designed that employ only one interdigital transducer (IDT) and no reflectors, thus reducing both the device size and technological complexity. The ZGV resonant conditions in the diamond/AlN composite plate, i.e., the frequencies where the mode group velocity vanishes while the phase velocity remains finite, were investigated in the frequency range from few hundreds of MHz up to 3500 MHz. Thin film bulk acoustic resonators (TFBARs) based on c-AlN and on 45° c-axis tilted AlN film on diamond suspended membrane were simulated that operate in longitudinal and shear mode: the former is a thickness-extensional mode, while the latter is a thickness-in plane-shear mode that is suitable for liquid sensing applications. A smart structure based on diamond/AlN composite suspended membrane was modelled that provides several integrated functions including sensing in gaseous and liquid environment, and stable frequency source
Theoretical study of quasi-longitudinal Lamb modes in SiN/c-AlN thin composite plates for liquid sensing applications
The propagation of quasi-longitudinal Lamb mode along SiN/c-AlN thin composite plates was modeled and analyzed aimed at the design of a sensor able to detect the parameters change of a liquid environment, such as added mass and viscosity changes. Three modes were identified that have high phase velocity and quite good electroacoustic coupling efficiency: the fundamental quasi symmetric mode (qS0) and two higher order quasi-longitudinal modes (qL1 and qL2) with a dominantly longitudinal displacement component at one plate side. The velocity and attenuation of these modes were calculated for different liquid viscosities, and the gravimetric and viscosity sensitivities of both the phase velocity and attenuation were theoretically calculated
Islamic View Towards Environment Preservation
Environment is one of global issues humans are facing today. The worsening condition of global environmental cannot be apart from various problems from garbage, logging, and air pollution due to industrial or transportation activities as the main factors of the environmental crisis. The basic principles of ecology are to protect, maintain, utilize and preserve the environment for the life of future generations. In the context of power, the idea of ecology and environmental sovereignty is related between God, humans and nature. The results of this study showed that Islam is very concerned with these environmental issues as proven through many discussions contained in classical fiqh literature, such as discussion of thaharah (cleanliness), ihya al-mawat (opening the unused land), al-musaqat and al-muzara’ah (utilization of land belonging to others), laws related to the sale and purchase and ownership of water, fire and salt, the rights of pets and other issues related to the environment around humans.

Implementation and Enforcement of Sharia Regional Regulation Problems in Cianjur Regency (Analysis of Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2006 concerning the Akhlaqul Karimah Community Movement)
Sharia-Based Regional Regulations are Regional Regulations based on Islamic Sharia values formed and enforced in Cianjur Regency. The problem is how the forming process of sharia-based regional regulations in Cianjur Regency and whether the formation of sharia-based regional regulations in Cianjur Regency follows the previous law. This research is normative legal research using secondary data, which is analyzed qualitatively. This study found that first, the establishment of sharia-based regional regulations in Cianjur Regency was initiated by community aspirations that urge moral improvements and adhere to Islamic values in Cianjur Society. This aspiration became a declaration that is the Declaration on the Movement to Build an Akhlaqul Karimah Society supported by various elements of community organizations and the Cianjur Ulema Council. Second, the forming process of the draft regional regulation is implemented by preparing the Academic Draft of the Cianjur Regional Regulation on the Movement to Build an Akhlaqul Karimah Society. The stages of forming regional regulations were based on the provisions of the Cianjur Regency Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2001 concerning the Preparation of Regional Regulations and the Issuance of Regional Gazettes, which in the end was successfully ratified by Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2006 concerning the Movement to Build an Akhlaqul Karimah Society. Third, the content of the Gate of Marhamah Regional Regulations is a joint effort that is implemented systematically and continuously to practice the akhlaqul karimah values in the community’s daily life which is a stage and an inseparable part of the long-term effort of the people of Cianjur Regency to implement and realize Islam as a rohmatan lil’alamin religion. Fourth, the problems with the Gate of Marhamah Regional Regulation is implementation problems, discrimination problems, and quality problems of regulations in the Regional Regulations.

Efficacy of Conservative Management with Anti Tuberculosis Treatment in Patients with Spinal Tuberculosis
Introduction: Spinal TB is a result of haematogenous dissemination from primary focus in lungs or lymph nodes. Most of the under developed and developing world is endemic with TB as these populations are poorly nourished, overcrowded and live in sub standard social conditions and TB being an infectious disease spreads and sustains well in these overcrowded settings. Spinal TB is a common pathology in developing countries like Pakistan. We present a cohort study on findings of conservative treatment in patients suffering from spinal TB.Objective: To determine the efficacy of conservative treatment (ATT) in TB spine.Material and Methods: A cohort study was conducted in Bolan Medical Complex, Quetta in a period of 4 years from 2009 to 2013. A total of 135 cases of spinal tuberculosis were selected. Patients with cervical and cranio-cervical, and sacral TB were excluded from the study and also patients with any malignancy and other associated chronic joint conditions related to back were not selected. Patients were confirmed as a case of spinal TB using standard laboratory and radiology diagnostics. The patients were treated with ATT and followed up for 9 months until the completion of therapy. Results: The average age of patients was 48.8 years. Both male (50.4%) and female (49.6%) were equal in proportion in this study. Lumbar region was more affected (71.1%) with TB spine. Almost all study patients (99.3%) were cured with ATT whereas 1 (0.7%) patient was managed surgically. Conclusion: ATT is effective in the treatment of spinal tuberculosis provided timely diagnosis and initiation of therapy
Love Wave Sensor Based on PMMA/ZnO/Glass Structure for Liquids Sensing
PMMA/ZnO/glass structure was investigated to enhance Love mode sensor sentivities. The phase velocities and the attenuation of the acoustic wave propagating along the PMMA/30° tilted c-axis ZnO/glass structure contacting a viscous non-conductive liquid were calculated for different PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate) and ZnO guiding layer thicknesses, added mass thicknesses, and liquid viscosity and density. The sensor velocity and attenuation sensitivities were also calculated for different environmental parameters. The resulted sensitivities to liquid viscosity and added mass were optimized by adjusting the ZnO and PMMA guiding layer thickness corresponding to a sensitivity peak. The present analysis is of importance in manufacturing and applications of the PMMA-ZnO-glass structure Love wave sensors for the detection of liquids properties, such as viscosity, density and mass anchored to the sensor surface
