    Kaki tiruan atas lutut atau above knee prosthesis merupakan teknologi di bidang kesehatan sebagai alat pengganti kaki untuk pasien dengan amputasi kaki atas lutut yang penyebab utamanya adalah karenadiabetes dan trauma atau luka berat akibat kecelakaan. Produk kaki tiruan yang ada masih didominasi oleh produk impor, sehingga memiliki harga yang mahal dan sulit terjangkau bagi pasien amputasi kalangan menengah ke bawah. Industri pembuatan kaki tiruan di Indonesia masih belum mampu memproduksi kaki tiruan bersendi atas lutut yang baik. Produk kaki tiruan buatan Indonesia yang sering kita lihat kebanyakan berbahan plat logam berbalut resin, produk konvensional inimemiliki kekurangan dalam fleksibilitas, lifetime, dan ergonomis. Pada penelitian sebelumnya telah dilakukan perancangan tiga model prosthesis untuk amputasi atas lutut. Tujuandari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa pembebanan statis salah satu prostesahasil rancangan dengan FEM. Prostesakemudian diujikan pada pasien amputasi atas lutut sebagai analisa pola pergerakan sendi siklus berjalan (gait cycle). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan prostesa dapat dipakai untuk berjalan dengan baik

Our literature review research aims to find out about anxiety in students and its prevention efforts. Approximately 80% of students who experience anxiety during thesis exams are recorded. Our literature research finds that prevention efforts are needed, including increasing individual student awareness to reduce negative thoughts and trying to focus thoughts and attention on positive things.     Preparation and characterization of Cr/activated carbon catalyst from palm empty fruit bunch had been done. The research were to determine the effect of carbonization temperature towards adsorption of ammonia, iodine number, metilen blue number, and porosity of activated carbon and Cr/activated carbon catalyst. The determination of porosity include surface area, micropore volume and total pore volume. The results showed the best carbonization temperature activated carbon and Cr/activated carbon catalyst at 700°C. The adsorption ammonia of activated carbon and Cr/activated carbon catalyst as 6.379 mmol/g and 8.1624 mmol/g. The iodine number of activated carbon and Cr/activated carbon catalyst as 1520.16 mg/g and 1535.67 mg/g. The metilen blue number of activated carbon and Cr/activated carbon catalyst as 281.71 mg/g and 319.18 mg/g. The surface area of activated carbon and Cr/activated carbon catalyst as 1527.80 m2/g and 1652.58 m2/g. The micropore volume of activated carbon and Cr/activated carbon catalyst as 0.7460 cm3/g and 0.8670 cm3/g.     An Analysis of Coil Dimensions on Induction Heating Machine Against Microstructure and Hardness Distribution as New Candidate of Projectile-resistant Steel Plates Materials

    The field of defense and security requires ballistic resistant materials for self-protection. Ballistic resistant materials must be able to withstand projectile spin rate and absorb impact energy. A combination of hardness on the surface and ductility on the other side is required to make the projectile resistance plate. Hardness is required to withstand the projectile rate, while ductility is required to reduce cracking, brittle fracture and absorption of impact energy. The objective of this study is to find the effect of the coil shape on microstructure and hardness distribution on the steel plate that is carried out by surface hardening using an induction machine. Medium carbon steel plate with the thickness 8 mm is austenitized using the induction heating machine with coil dimension and shape variations. Austenizing on the surface and rapid quenching in oil media are up to 900 °C. A micro-observation was conducted on quench plates and hardness distribution on their cross-section. The result of microstructure observation and micro Vickers hardness test of coil variation at a diameter 5 mm and with the number of turns of 2 and 3 is microstructures on all sides formed with martensite structure and equal hardness on the entire cross-section, so that no surface hardening formed. Micro-observations showed martensite structure on the surface side and the ferrite and perlite structures are still visible on the middle and lower sides using 8 mm diameter coils and 2 turns. The maximum hardness is 497 HVN on the upper side surface and 257 HVN on the lower side surface using an 8 mm diameter coil and 2 turns.
