Variational Iteration Method for Solving Initial and Boundary Value Problems of Bratu-type
In this paper, we present a reliable framework to solve the initial and boundary value problems of Bratu-type which are widely applicable in fuel ignition of the combustion theory and heat transfer. The algorithm rests mainly on a relatively new technique, the variational iteration method. Several examples are given to confirm the efficiency and the accuracy of the proposed algorithm
A Case of an Anomalous Right Coronary Artery Arising from the Left Coronary Cusp
An anomalous origin of the right coronary artery is usually asymptomatic. It is mostly found incidentally on an invasive diagnostic angiogram. It does lead to an increased risk of sudden cardiac death, especially in younger patients. We present a case of a 41-year-old who had presented to the hospital with complaints of chest pain. The patient was evaluated by cardiology who performed an angiography that identified an anomalous origin of the right coronary artery arising from the left coronary cusp but no evidence of coronary artery disease. Once identified, these anomalous vessels should be corrected surgically, as these conditions increase the risk of sudden cardiac death arrhythmia and ischemic events
KNEE INJURIES IN BADMINTON SPORT: INVESTIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES OF INJURY AND MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES IN SINDH PROVINCE
Knee injury is one of the most common types of injuries that sportspeople experience in Badminton sport. Extant literature on knee injuries suggests that most of the research undertaken was in advanced countries. Especially, very limited research has been undertaken in context of Sindh province. Consequently, this study aims to report survey findings of the cases of knee injuries in Badminton sport and its management techniques across thirteen districts of Sindh. Data were collected through structured interview using survey questionnaire by non-probability technique of convenience sampling. Data were analyzed in SPSS version 22.0. Mean age of the Badminton players across Sindh was about 34 years and about 42.3% have had graduation. These findings reveal that middle-aged and educated people play this game for fitness purpose. Findings also reveal that about 53.8% players got their right knee injured during the play. It was stated that 92.3% respondents were injured intrinsically. While X-ray was the only technique used to diagnose the injury. However, 80% respondents were suggested to go through some physiotherapeutic methods as management of the injury

Deep Learning for Musculoskeletal Image Analysis
The diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal
(MSK) disorders require radiology imaging (using computed tomography, magnetic
resonance imaging(MRI), and ultrasound) and their precise analysis by expert
radiologists. Radiology scans can also help assessment of metabolic health,
aging, and diabetes. This study presents how machinelearning, specifically deep
learning methods, can be used for rapidand accurate image analysis of MRI
scans, an unmet clinicalneed in MSK radiology. As a challenging example, we
focus on automatic analysis of knee images from MRI scans and study machine
learning classification of various abnormalities including meniscus and
anterior cruciate ligament tears. Using widely used convolutional neural
network (CNN) based architectures, we comparatively evaluated the knee
abnormality classification performances of different neural network
architectures under limited imaging data regime and compared single and
multi-view imaging when classifying the abnormalities. Promising results
indicated the potential use of multi-view deep learning based classification of
MSK abnormalities in routine clinical assessment.Comment: Invited Paper, ASILOMAR 2019, TP4b: Machine Learning Advances in

Variational Iteration Method for Solving Telegraph Equations
In this paper, we apply the variational iteration method (VIM) for solving telegraph equations, which arise in the propagation of electrical signals along a telegraph line. The suggested algorithm is more efficient and easier to handle as compare to the decomposition method. Numerical results show the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed VIM
