Influencia de las características físicas en el comportamiento mecánico de los suelos granulares

El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar cómo influyen las características físicas de los materiales granulares en su comportamiento mecánico. Para este caso se eligieron dos arenas nacionales las cuales son Guamo y Guayuriba y otra internacional que es Ottawa. Partiendo desde los ensayos de caracterización física se obtienen resultados de Cu, Gs, emin, emax, ρmin y ρmax, para así determinar su efecto en los parámetros de resistencia, resultado del ensayo de corte directo en condiciones consolidadas drenada (CD) teniendo una campaña experimental de 27 ensayos realizados a las 3 arenas para los esfuerzos verticales de 50 kPa, 100 kPa y 200 kPa con densidades relativas (Dr) de 30%, 60% y 90% y una velocidad de corte de 1.0 mm/min. De esta manera se llegó a encontrar la relación directa entre los valores físicos de Dr con las variables correspondientes a la resistencia al corte de max, de ángulo de fricción (y de cohesión (c).The objetive of this research is to determine how the physical characteristics of granular materials influence their mechanical behavior. For this case, two national arenas were chosen, which are Guamo and Guayuriba and another international one, which is Ottawa.
