    International audienceThe purpose of this work is to study the dynamic frictionless contact problem between an elastic body and a rigid foundation. In order to model the contact we consider Signorini conditions. A numerical algorithm is proposed to approximate the solution; the algorithm involves a contact multi-plier, which is a fixed point of a nonlinear equation solved by using a generalized Newton method. We use one of the Newmark methods for time discretization and a finite element method for space discretization. The convergence of the method is numerically studied, and a simple test problem is used to validate the methodology

    A change in growth habit in order to concentrate the harvest of green pods at the same date will allow for mechanical harvesting of both green pods and seeds. The ti (terminal inflorescence) gene was incorporated into horticultural major type genotypes by backcrossing. These new lines show shorter periods of both flowering and maturity, allowing for an early production of green pods. The dry seed yield observed is greater for the best indeterminate cultivars than those of determinate habit

    Esta intervención educativa tuvo como objetivo diseñar un modelo de enseñanza-aprendizaje del vocabulario básico del español y la lengua de señas mexicana, basado en el enfoque socio-antropológico de la sordera. A partir de la propuesta de la logogenia, jóvenes Sordos y Sordas relacionaron una lengua viso-gesto-espacial con una grafológica, mediante el uso de material diseñado por la autora. Se argumenta que la educación bilingüe-bicultural es indispensable para la Comunidad Sorda, además de contrarrestar el audismo. Los resultados demostraron que los aprendizajes de las y los participantes aumentaron en el transcurso de un año y medio que duró la intervención

    Hydrochemistry of pit lakes in the Portuguese sector of the Iberian Pyrite Belt

    The Iberian Pyrite Belt (IPB) is a world-class metallogenic province with volcanogenic massive sulphide ore deposits. Most ore exploitation occurred since pre-Roman time, creating extensive galleries, wells, waste-dumps and pit lakes. These last structures are a concern for their potential environmental impact because they accumulate large volumes of mine water affected acid mine drainage. The present work classifies the pit lakes based on the surface water hydrochemistry. Using the Ficklin diagram for classification, pit lake waters vary from acid, high-metal to high-acid, extreme-metal and exhibit similarities with other pit lakes from the Spanish sector of the IPB.This work was co-funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, based on COMPETE 2020 - project ICT (UID/GEO/04683/2013) with reference POCI-010145-FEDER-007690 and project Nano-MINENV number 029259.     Didactic and pedagogic training in health care: cognitive skills developed by postgraduate students in a virtual learning environment

    At the graduation course on Teaching in Health, offered by Cedess/UNIFESP, an online discussion forum was set up. The aim of this study was to identify the cognitive and social skills developed and the thematic units preferred by postgraduate students. The messages were classified according to the cognitive abilities. Content analysis of messages was performed for each category. Students developed cognitive and social skills in the three categories. The discussed topics showed the integration of knowledge at personal, institutional, social and political levels. Students built knowledge in a collective dimension, where the interpersonal interactions and content, mediated by ICTs, have played an important role in learning. These interactions have strengthened learning, understood as a social process, so that the analysis has shifted from the isolated individual into conceiving the relationship among subjects and their roles in society.O fórum de discussão do ambiente virtual Moodle foi adotado na disciplina Formação Didático-Pedagógica em Saúde, oferecida pelo Cedess da UNIFESP. O objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar as habilidades cognitivas e sociais desenvolvidas e as unidades temáticas privilegiadas pelos pós-graduandos. As mensagens foram classificadas segundo as habilidades de: a) propor, concordar, indagar; b) problematizar, discordar, questionar; e c) generalizar, esclarecer, sintetizar, estender. Os alunos desenvolveram habilidades nas três categorias consideradas e a análise de conteúdo das mensagens foi realizada em relação a cada categoria. Os temas abordados evidenciaram a integração de conhecimentos nos níveis pessoal, institucional, social e político. Os alunos construíram conhecimentos numa dimensão coletiva, onde as interações interpessoais e com os conteúdos, mediadas pelas TIC, tiveram importante papel na aprendizagem. Estas interações potencializaram a aprendizagem entendida como processo social, de modo que a análise do processo deslocou-se do indivíduo isolado para as relações dos sujeitos e seus papéis na sociedade.Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)UNIFESPSciEL
