Integral Tutoring and Historical Research in the School of Social Sciences of the National University of Chimborazo (Ecuador)
A., 2013).With the aim of diagnosing the state of the Historical Research in the educational context of the Faculty of Sciences of Education, Humanities and Technology at the UNACH an applied research of the descriptive type was developed. For the analysis of data, Descriptive statistics was applied. The main obtained results were: The School of Social Sciences keeps a high level of admission, and most of its students report to be interested in the study of History. The levels of Historical Research in the universe studied is insufficient, the theme of local history is the most investigated by the students, at the faculty library three of those studies were found with a research methodology that shows insufficiencies. The students report that most of the times, they have researched historical topics as part of their school tasks assigned by their teachers, mostly as literature reviews. Professor and students of the population coincide that access to the primary document sources of information is very difficult; they use mostly the resources available on the Internet. The members of the population who say the Tutors of Higher Education need training on methodology for historical research were the predominated ones. (Alonso, S.; Palomares, A., 2013)
Las redes sociales: uso en educación básica
Human beings are social by nature, and therefore, they feel the need for contact
among individuals; this is the basic principle underlying the rise to so-called
"social networking" on the Internet. A cross sectional descriptive study, whose
population consisted of 209 tenth grade students of basic Education of
Riobamba Unit from September to June of 2015, out of which a sample of 108
students was taken through a non-probabilistic criteria based sampling - was
conducted. The purpose was to describe the use of social networks by the
studied sample. The instruments used allowed to observe that most of the
students use social networks once or twice a week for half an hour, and that
they predominantly use Facebook; there were predominant respondents whose
information about the advantages and disadvantages of social networking was
rated as very good, not there being any in the category of poor; there was
prevalence of the students who reported access to social networks through
public and private wifi; and the students considered that teachers do not use
espacio de media a una hora, y que principalmente utilizan Facebook;

docente educativo e investigativo.A cuasiexperimental research with a cuanti-qualitative approach of prospective
type was carried out with the objective of evaluating the impact of the
application of a digital collection with thematic texts on the local history of
Sagua la Grande, in the educational investigative process in the "Lidia Doce
Sánchez" Medical Sciences University Branch during the period 2009-2012.
The study universe was constituted by the total of professors who teach the
subject History of Cuba in the careers of Medicine and Dentistry a total of 3
professors and 34 students of the second year of the careers of Medicine
traditional model and Dentistry in the course 2009-2010, representing 100%.
The investigation was carried out in three stages: first, diagnostic of the
bibliographical needs and selection of the documents to include in the
collection; second, design and evaluation of the digital collection; third,

the first and the third stages, Different techniques such as questionnaire to
students, interviews to professors, and inventory of available bibliography on
the studied theme were used. The results of the diagnosis contributed the main
elements for the design of the digital collection. The literature inadequacy was
evidenced, 21 documents were selected on different moments of the history of
Sagua la Grande. The digital collection was evaluated as very appropriate by
the selected specialists. The Implementation of the collection demonstrated its
high effectiveness in the educational and investigative educational process
Active Methodologies in the Training of Future Health Professionals: Academic Goals and Autonomous Learning Strategies
The learning of future health professionals is fundamental to the training of competent
professionals. In this work, it was proposed to determine the correlation between academic goals
and learning strategies in students enrolled from the first to the sixth semester in seven specialties
of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the National University of Chimborazo. A correlational design
was used in which the questionnaires for evaluation of academic achievement and strategies for
autonomous learning strategies were applied. The resulting data were analyzed and interpreted
using descriptive and non-parametric inferential statistical methods. The results suggested that the
types of academic goals and autonomous learning strategies had a homogeneous pattern in most of
the seven specialties studied. According to the Likert scale, category 3, which sometimes corresponds
to the range of quantitative categories, was the predominant one. Finally, the correlation between
autonomous work strategies and the types of academic achievement of the students in the sample
was mostly weak or non-existent and direct

HiPER is the European Project for Laser Fusion that has been able to join 26 institutions and signed under formal government agreement by 6 countries inside the ESFRI Program of the European Union (EU). The project is already extended by EU for two years more (until 2013) after its first preparatory phase from 2008. A large work has been developed in different areas to arrive to a design of repetitive operation of Laser Fusion Reactor, and decisions are envisioned in the next phase of Technology Development or Risk Reduction for Engineering or Power Plant facilities (or both). Chamber design has been very much completed for Engineering phase and starting of preliminary options for Reactor Power Plant have been established and review here
pilotSTRATEGY project 2021-2026: “CO2 Geological Pilots in Strategic Territories”
[EN] The pilotSTRATEGY (2021-2026) is investigating geological CO2 storage sites in industrial regions to support development of large-scale carbon capture and storage (CCS). It is focused on deep saline aquifers–porous rock formations filled with brine several kilometres below ground – which promise a large capacity for storing captured CO2. The goal of the characterisation is to assess the site’s containment, injectivity, capacity, integrity, hydrodynamics, and monitorability in order to ensure safe and permanent storage of CO2.
PilotSTRATEGY covers the initial stages of project development up to the pre-final investment decision (pre-FID), regulatory approval and permitting of storage, and applied on selected structures of Paris Basin in France, the Lusitanian Basin in Portugal and the Ebro Basin in Spain, and in lower detail, in West Macedonia in Greece and Upper Silesia in Poland. The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme (10.1
million Euros, No. 101022664).Peer reviewe
