    An Analysis of Illocutioanry Acts of the Main Character of Transformers Movie “Dark of the Moon”

    The objectives of this research were to find out the five types of illocutionary acts, namely: Directive, Commisives, Expressive, Assertive, Declarative and the dominant one used in Transformers”Dark of the Moon”. This research was conducted by using quantitative descriptive design. It took 735 utterances taken from the subtitle of Transformers “Dark of the Moon” which were released in June 29, 2011. The result of analyzing found five types of process were used in Transformers “Dark of the Moon”, they were: Directive, Commisive, Expressive, Assertive and Declarative. There were 735 illocutionary acts in 735 utterances. The findings of data analysis showed that the total numbers of process from the five types of illocutionary acts were: Directive is 361 (47,94%) utterances. The total number of Commisive is 39 (5,17%) utterances. The total number of Expressive is 58 (7,70%) utterances. The total number of Assertives is 294 (39,04%). And the total number of Declaratives is 1 (0,13%). It means that Directive is the most dominant type of Illocutionary Acts used in Transformers “Dark of the Moon” movie

    Mercury has one of the best preserved impact records in the inner Solar System due to the absence of an atmosphere, but it has much higher rates of surface modification than on the Moon. The earliest geological mapping of the planet revealed a variety of important differences from the Moon, regarding the impact basin (D 300 km) and cratering record, as well as the extensive volcanic plains of Mercury [1-3]. It has been shown [3] that the bombardment history of the terrestrial planets is lunar-like and linked in terms of impactor population(s) and impact rates. Recent studies suggest that Mercury and the Moon had the same early impactor populations based on the similarity of their crater size-frequency distributions (CSFD), however the impact rates on Mercury are higher than on the Moon. Catalogued and characterized the basin population on Mercury using early optical data obtained by the MESSENGER spacecraft and found 46 certain and probable impact basins, as well as 41 tentative

    In general, attempts to delineate an a priori sampling strategy for missions to terrestrial planets must be simple. In the case of the Moon, for example, the simplest and most obvious plan that to sample both the highly-cratered, high-albedo highlands and less-cratered, low-albedo mare--has proven very useful. However in the case of Mars, multiple missions and/or roving samplers may prove expensive or infeasible. Thus, we may be limited to collecting samples from a single site, and, consequently, consideration of sampling strategies for a Mars mission is more critical than for the more-accessible Moon

    Supporting any but the smallest lunar facility will require indigenous resources due to the extremely high cost of bringing material from Earth. The Moon has also attracted interest as a resource base to help support near-Earth space activities, because of the potential lower cost once the necessary infrastructure has been amortized. Obviously, initial lunar products will be high-volume, bulk commodities, as they are the only ones for which the economics of lunar production are conceivably attractive. Certain rarer elements, such as the halogens, C, and H, would also be extremely useful (for propellant, life support, and/or reagents), and indeed local sources of such elements would vastly improve the economics of lunar resource extraction.
