Optimal kernel development for real-time communications

The purpose of this research is to develop an optimal kernel which would be used in a real-time engineering and communications system. Since the application is a real-time system, relevant real-time issues are studied in conjunction with kernel related issues. The emphasis of the research is the development of a kernel which would not only adhere to the criteria of a real-time environment, namely determinism and performance, but also provide the flexibility and portability associated with non-real-time environments. The essence of the research is to study how the features found in non-real-time systems could be applied to the real-time system in order to generate an optimal kernel which would provide flexibility and architecture independence while maintaining the performance needed by most of the engineering applications. Traditionally, development of real-time kernels has been done using assembly language. By utilizing the powerful constructs of the C language, a real-time kernel was developed which addressed the goals of flexibility and portability while still meeting the real-time criteria. The implementation of the kernel is carried out using the powerful 68010/20/30/40 microprocessor based systems

Velocidad de Sedimentación globular y proteína- C reactiva para el descarte de inflamación en Adulto Mayor del Hospital Público Chimbote 2019

Esta investigación pretendió relacionar la velocidad de sedimentación y la proteína C reactiva como método de diagnóstico para el descarte de inflamación en el adulto mayor; dado que en algunos pacientes se encuentran incrementadas las concentraciones de estas pruebas juegan un papel importante en las enfermedades inflamatorias. Teniendo como finalidad conocer ¿Cuánto es la velocidad de sedimentación y la proteína-C reactiva como método de diagnóstico para el descarte de inflamación? Por lo tanto, se considera determinar la eficacia y la relación de estas pruebas como marcadores inflamatorios. Además, la investigación es retrospectiva de tipo básica y nivel explicativo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 96 pacientes y el diseño fue no probabilístico. El instrumento de investigación que se empleó fue una ficha de recolección datos que cuenta cada área. Se redactó un oficio de parte de la facultad de ciencias de la salud, dirigida al director del hospital con el fin de recopilar datos. Finalmente, se aplicó el análisis de correlación con el programa estadístico SPSS. Factores de éxito para la penetración de empresas peruanas y mexicanas al mercado de EE.UU. en el segmento de salsas picantes

El mercado de salsas picantes ha mostrado un gran crecimiento a nivel global en los últimos seis años. Se estima que para el año 2025 alcance un valor de 5,900 millones de dólares, con un CAGR del 5%. En el mundo, Norteamérica cuenta con los principales consumidores y las compañías más importantes de salsas picantes, en Estados Unidos y México. Este último país ha crecido en sus exportaciones con un CAGR del 8% entre los años 2015 y 2020. Sus salsas son las más conocidas internacionalmente y es el principal proveedor de Estados Unidos, el mayor mercado destino de salsas picantes en el mundo. Perú, por su parte, cuenta con un gran catálogo de ajíes, más de 300, pero sus salsas envasadas no son tan conocidas como las mencionadas anteriormente. Dentro de su portafolio, se destacan las de ají amarillo, panca y rocoto. También han aumentado sus exportaciones mundiales durante este periodo, con casi 6 millones de dólares exportados en el 2019 y un CAGR del 5%. Sin embargo, los productores locales cuentan con problemas para posicionarse internacionalmente, como el abastecimiento local de ajíes y la estandarización de cultivos, junto a la pobre infraestructura logística y portuaria. En base al estudio de casos de éxito, se detectó que los factores más importantes para el ingreso de empresas pequeñas peruanas a Estados Unidos son proporcionar maquilas, las alianzas con distribuidores y un enfoque en los mercados de nostalgia, con énfasis en la población peruana migrante. Por otro lado, el mejor posicionamiento de México se debe a su proximidad, además de que cuenta con más migrantes, tuvo un mayor tiempo para establecer sus salsas con un marketing de imagen y gastronomía, y el sabor de sus chiles es más atractivo para el consumidor estadounidense general por su nivel de picante.The hot sauce market has shown great global growth in the last six years. Inherited Forms of Bladder Cancer: A review of Lynch Syndrome and Other Inherited Conditions

Environmental factors that play a role in the urothelial carcinogenesis have been well characterized. Current research is continuously exploring potential heritable forms of bladder cancer. Lynch syndrome is a well-known inheritable disease that increases the risk for a variety of cancers, including urothelial carcinomas. Screening of patients with known Lynch syndrome is important to evaluate for development of new primary tumors. Further study may provide more information on what level of follow-up each patient needs. Recent data suggest that mismatch repair mutations confer a greater risk for urothelial cancer. Additional large patient series as well as advancement of molecular testing may provide triage for Lynch syndrome patients in regards to the frequency and type of screening best suited for individual patient
