Job security is one of the most debatable and topics in the world of human resources. Many studies concluded that job security is one of the keys to employee satisfaction. It also contributes to employee performance and productivity. In this study, the case of Qatar University is presented. Without job security, employees will not be sure about their future and their income source. Job insecurity has a strong negative effect on employee performance. Job insecurity may cause critical negative impacts both on employees and organizations. The political situation and the blockade imposed on Qatar led to new measures and an understanding of business in the country. Organizations in Qatar are now trying to think out of the box and improve their performance to overcome the negative blockade impacts. This research discusses job insecurity impact on employee performance and productivity. The research aim is to understand the relationship between the concepts of job security and employee performance. To do so, many sub-concepts were investigated in the study, including financial benefits, fairness, work stress, training, job future, and relationship with superiors. Those concepts and variables were tested among Qatar University Faculty members using in-depth interviews as a data collection method. The study concluded that job security is very important to organizations and employees. It was also concluded that job security drivers could sometimes be controlled by the organization, such as financial benefits, internal communication, working conditions, work stress, fairness, career development, and training. On the other hand, some drivers are controlled by the industry and the eco-system in the country, such as the financial support from the government, the economic crises, and the political crises. The study suggested that the job security level at Qatar University can be improved through various methods that are presented in the recommendations chapter. The research provided comprehensive applicable recommendations in which Qatar University can use it to improve the level of employee job security. The research also provided a chance for future studies to investigate the impact of job security on the education system in the university. Breathing exercises can be used to strengthen respiratory muscles, but they can also be used to create energy. It also combats stress as it stimulates the release of epinephrine. Multidisciplinary management may be needed, with a team including social workers, physiotherapists, play therapists, and music therapists. Cancer pain should always be measured using validated pain assessment tools. The aim of the current study is to determine the effect of breathing Exercise on respiratory efficiency and pain intensity among children under chemotherapy.  A convenient sample of 70 children older than 3 years old,   with cancer and treated by chemotherapy; were included in the study. A quasi-experimental research design was used to conduct the study. The study was conducted in the National Cancer Institute (N.C. I) in the pediatric  wards.   Data was collected using a structured interview schedule it was developed by the researchers the first one was for children’ sociodemographic data and cancer history, the second was to assess the respiratory efficiency and the third was the pediatric facial pain scale. The study’s results revealed that more than half of the studied children were male, less than two thirds of the studied children had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), The majority of the studied children had pain as an associated problem from cancer and its treatment. All the children had easy fatigability, loss of weight, and feeding problems. There were significance differences between pre and post breathing exercises in relation to vital signs, O2 saturation and pain intensity. Multiple efforts from pediatric oncology team are needed to prepare children with cancer prior conducting cancer treatment as well their mothers or care givers. Further researches are needed on a larger sample for generalization of the reached results. Keywords: Breathing Exercise- chemotherapy - respiratory efficiency – pai

A new series of 1-phenyl-3-(4-(pyridin-3-yl)phenyl)urea derivatives were synthesized and subjected to in vitro antiproliferative screening against National Cancer Institute (NCI)-60 human cancer cell lines of nine different cancer types. Fourteen compounds 5a-n were synthesized with three different solvent exposure moieties (4-hydroxylmethylpiperidinyl and trimethoxyphenyloxy and 4-hydroxyethylpiperazine) attached to the core structure. Substituents with different π and σ values were added on the terminal phenyl group. Compounds 5a-e with a 4-hydroxymethylpiperidine moiety showed broad-spectrum antiproliferative activity with higher mean percentage inhibition values over the 60-cell line panel at 10 µM concentration. Compound 5a elicited lethal rather than inhibition effects on SK-MEL-5 melanoma cell line, 786-0, A498, RXF 393 renal cancer cell lines, and MDA-MB-468 breast cancer cell line. Two compounds, 5a and 5d showed promising mean growth inhibitions and thus were further tested at five-dose mode to determine median inhibitory concentration (IC50) values. The data revealed that urea compounds 5a and 5d are the most active derivatives, with significant efficacies and superior potencies than paclitaxel in 21 different cancer cell lines belonging particularly to renal cancer and melanoma cell lines. Moreover, 5a and 5d had superior potencies than gefitinib in 38 and 34 cancer cell lines, respectively, particularly colon cancer, breast cancer and melanoma cell lines
