The realm of hadith has evolved and expanded to encompass not only the term "hadith" but also "sunnah," "khabar," and "atsar." These four terms, while sharing some similarities, also hold distinct meanings. It is crucial to clarify their significance within each context to avoid confusion and misinterpretation. Hadith, as a concept, contains al-Khabar (information) derived from the al-Kalam (sayings) of the Prophet, which is jadid (new) when compared to al-Kalam of Allah (the Quran). On the other hand, "sunnah" denotes the way, method, or path. Originally, it referred to the path established and followed by previous generations, becoming a guiding route for those who follow. Scholars from different disciplines define hadith in alignment with their specific scientific fields. For instance, Ushul fiqh experts identify sunnah as everything derived from the Prophet (apart from the Quran), including words, deeds, and provisions that serve as justifications for Syara` law. Reviewing hadith and its miraculous aspects becomes essential to counter erroneous perceptions and logically demonstrate its miracles. In the contemporary era, the study of hadith and sunnah not only emphasizes the quality of narrators but also the quantity to foster a comprehensive understanding. This abstract seeks to shed light on the terminological nuances of hadith, sunnah, khabar, and atsar, ensuring clarity and precision in their interpretations. Furthermore, it highlights the significance of examining the miraculous aspects of hadith and its relevance in contemporary scholarship, providing a holistic perspective that enriches the understanding of these essential sources of Islamic guidance

Background: The spread of the Covid-19 virus outbreak in early March 2020, caused a high number of deaths worldwide. People infected with Covid-19 are not only physically infected but mentally (spiritually) are also infected. In Indonesia, many hospitals in all cities and villages have been instructed to lock down (limit communication and interaction). This research focuses on analyzing neuro-spiritual as an alternative spiritual approach to improving mental health for Covid-19 patients. Method: This study uses a qualitative method (content analysis), based on case studies at Muhammadiyah hospitals throughout the city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia which are fully accredited (perfect). This study interviewed asymptomatic and symptomatic Covid-19 patients using a purposive sampling technique. The data qualitative analysis technique uses triangulation. Results: This study describes that patients suffering from Covid-19 are very diverse. Before the neuro-spiritual approach, Covid-19 patients felt constrained. The existence of a neuro-spiritual approach, namely a spiritual approach, such as fasting, night prayers (tahajjud), reading the Koran, and interacting with friends, has a good and positive impact on Covid-19 patients. A neuro-spiritual approach that prioritizes and relies on spiritual power (worship) that responds to the brain, is an alternative method used by PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Conclusion: A neuro-spiritual approach can improve the mental health of Covid-19 patients. This approach is very relevant to the reference perspective of Islamic studies which has implications for the Covid-19 disaster in Indonesia

The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of Nāṣiyah in Tafsir Salman from a neo-scientific perspective. The development of neuroscience and Islamic education in this modern era is in line with the emergence of new findings, namely research about the meaning (Nāṣiyah) in the Quran which some commentators define as “the crown” or, in a neuroscience perspective ‘behind the crown’, namely the prefrontal cortex. Data of this research are sourced from literature studies through manual and digital searches, focusing on the Nāṣiyah interpretation paradigm in Surah al-ʿAlaq verses 15-16. Results of the study show that the meaning of Nāṣiyah is identical to the meaning (forehead). In Salman’s interpretation, what is meant by the crown is the brain, especially the prefrontal cortex. Therefore, Nāṣiyah is a neurobiological trace of the brain in the Quran. The discovery of the concept of Nāṣiyah as the neurobiological basis of the brain in the Quran will have broad implications for the development of the potential of ʿaql (reason) in Islamic education. The essence of Islamic education, of which is the development of the potential of reason as a manifestation of brain function (Nāṣiyah) in the Quran

Zakāh collection in Nitikan village of Yogyakarta has experienced an increase since 2017, which previously had been stagnant. This paper aims to investigate the current development of the zakāh collection in that area, as it represents Muhammadiyah's efforts in the religious philanthropic movement. This is a qualitative study, with the data obtained from participatory observation and in-depth interviews with zakāh stakeholders. This study finds that the improvement of the zakāh collection has contributed to several factors. These include the role of ulama and Bapelurzam of Muhammadiyah, leading to the increasing trust of the people. This is strengthened by the changing paradigm of the muzakki regarding zakāh al-māl from merely gold and silver into any properties equal to niṣāb and has reached the haul; and the strong determination of mustaḥiq to transform themselves into muzakki

The purpose of this research analyzing Islamic education learning in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic from the perspective of Neuroscience. The development of the learning model of Islamic education and neuroscience in this modern era is in line with research on neuroscience in Islamic education discourse, which so far has only been understood as edentically with medical science, namely health in the brain. while Neuroscience is integrated with Islamic education in theological aspects (Alquran and hadith), historical, academic and theoretical. This research data is sourced through literature observations related to descriptions of scientific journals and examination of references to research works, both manually and digitally, which focus on discussing Islamic education learning in the new discourse of Neuroscience. This research is a literature study using qualitative methods. The results of the study prove that Neuroscience has traces in the field of Islamic education thought theologically has a Neorubiological basis in the Qur'an surah al-Alaq verses 15-16 with the keyword "nasyiyah" (crown), historically Neuroscience is closely related to Islamic philosophy, fiqh and ushul fiqh. Academically and theoretically related to the concept of 'Aql and Qolb in the Koran and hadith. Its derivatives gave rise to the hybridization of Neuroscience and Islamic education. This will have broad implications for the learning model during the Covid-19 pandemic. Academically and theoretically related to the concept of 'Aql and Qolb in the Koran and hadith.
