    REGENERATIVE BRAKING SYSTEM USING SUPER CAPACITOR

    Recently, a lot of people are concern on the environmental pollution that is getting worse day to day and energy crisis that would implicate to the global economy. Most organizations and car manufacturers are putting to a rest on the dependencies of natural resources and try to find a new solution to the problems. Therefore, Electric Vehicles (EVs) are seen to be a promising alternative to the current main energy resources, natural gases. Even though the electric vehicles are seen to be the perfect candidate for this problem, EV s are still suffering from the major problem of any EVs that is short driving range. Hence, a system to manage the energy consumption of an EV is should be developed. According to a study on electric car braking energy consumption, the energy consumed during braking is around 43% of the total energy of the whole process [1 ]. When an electric car running in urban city without regenerative braking system, a lot of energy is wasted through the braking, while on the other hand, during the acceleration the battery's current may reach as high as 450 ampere [1 ][2]. A regenerative braking system is comprised of hydraulic motor, hydraulic accumulator, electric controller and other components. During braking, the transmission shaft is still rotating which then will drive the hydraulic pump under the inertia. The rotation allows energy to be regenerated during the braking and will be stored, preventing from the energy to be wasted. During the accelerating, the energy stored from the braking will be used again to feed the energy consumption of the system [3]. Implementing the regenerative braking system allows the energy to be recycled. The energy that will be used during the decelerating and accelerating is merely from the energy used during braking

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan ketidakamanan kerja dengan intensi turnover di PT. BUMA Desa Suaran Sambaliung Kecamatan Berau. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga variabel: variabel turnover intention dan variabel independen kepuasan kerja dan ketidakamanan kerja. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. BUMA Desa Suaran Kabupaten Sambaliung Kabupaten Berau 90. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil ini menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan niat untuk berganti pekerjaan dengan nilai beta = 0,019, t = 0,175, dan p = 0,009, perbedaan yang signifikan antara ketidakamanan kerja dan niat untuk mengubah pekerjaan dengan nilai beta = 0,160, t = 1,491, dan p = 0,014 ada pengaruh antara kepuasan kerja dan ketidakamanan kerja dengan niat memindahkan pekerjaan ke nilai F = 1,114, R2 = 0,025, dan p = 0,033

    A Case of an Undifferentiated Embryonal Sarcoma of the Liver Mimicking a Liver Abscess

    An undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver is a rare malignant tumour. We highlight the diagnostic dilemma and differential diagnosis of a case involving a large cystic liver lesion in a young adult. A 20-year-old man presented with a large liver lesion to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in February 2012. The initial clinico-radiological presentations were suggestive of a liver abscess. A total tumour resection was performed and the final histopathological results of the resected specimen indicated an undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver. The ultrasound and computed tomographic images of the tumour were reviewed and found to be contradictory in appearance, as the tumour seemed predominantly solid in the ultrasound image and predominantly cystic in the computed tomographic image. Familiarisation with the imaging appearance of this tumour and a high index of suspicion is therefore crucial in making a successful diagnosis

    DISTRIBUTION MAPPING OF GLYPHOSATE-RESISTANT Eleusine indica IN SERDANG BEDAGAI REGENCY

    The presence of Eleusine indica from oil palm plantations in Serdang Bedagai Regency has never been overall reported glyphosate-resistant. This study aims to distribution mapping and resistance classification of E. indica population to glyphosate herbicide of oil palm plantations in Serdang Bedagai Regency. This research was conducted on Weed Research Center Land in Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara in October 2016 to August 2017. This research used glyphosate herbicide with the recommended dose at 720 g ai ha-1 and three replications. Population ESU0 (from Politeknik Negeri Medan Ball Field) as a comparison. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software. The results showed there E. indica population classified as glyphosate-resistant amount 89.36% (42 population), classified as glyphosate-resistant moderate amount 10,64% (5 population) and there is no population glyphosate-susceptible on oil palm plantations in Serdang Bedagai Regency of recommended dose at 720 g ai ha-1

    Adherence among parents on under-five childhood immunization schedule: a review

    Background: Adherence on under-five childhood immunization schedule has been an area of study that has seldom been explored. Adherence has been the subject of focus in determine if the results of outbreaks and vaccine preventable disease is related to the adherence of the parents to the vaccine schedule. Materials and Methods: A systematic review of articles on the factors of adherence on under-five childhood immunization schedule was performed using various keywords utilizing multiple databases (Medline, PubMed, Science Direct and CINAHL). Studies conducted between 2000 to present, English language and were either observational or qualitative designs were included. Result: Of 45 articles identified, 13 studies were eligible for inclusion. The studies showed that the majority of factors were divided into modifiable and non-modifiable factors. These factors were then further classified into various groups according to its relevance. The modifiable factors were identified as knowledge, vaccine, awareness and perception towards childhood immunization. Whereas non-modifiable factors were sociodemographic factors of parent and child, logistic factors and administration factors. Conclusion: There were many factors identified significantly to be associated with adherence among parents on under-five childhood immunization schedule

    Systematic review on effectiveness of methods of delivery and reminder of health education module to improve adherence on childhood immunization schedule

    Background: There are currently various methods of delivery that can improve adherence on under-five childhood immunization schedule. The methods differ significantly and there is the conventional method of providing a health education module, reminders and recalls to improve adherence and some other non-conventional methods to improve adherence. A systematic review was conducted on the effectiveness of methods of delivery and reminder of health education module to improve adherence on childhood immunization schedule. Materials and Methods: The systematic review performed utilized searched on available electronic databases and bibliographies of studies and also previous reviews. The databases were broad search and began with the use of generic terms to identify search terms that were relevant. The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and MetaAnalysis) by Moher et al (2009) was used. Databases including PubMed, Science Direct, Medline and CINAHL were utilized for this systematic review. Results: The studies in the review conducted was conducted in various countries with the United States of America (USA) contributing 7 studies, followed by the United Kingdom and Pakistan with 3 studies each and Kenya, Australia, New Zealand and India with 1 study respectively. The lowest number of respondents was 12 while the most was 9213 respondents. All studies were Randomized Control Trial’s (RCT’s) and 1 Quasi Experimental study. Conclusion: The studies showed multiple factor and effective methods of delivery with reminders for health education. Utilizing technology showed to be one of the most effective methods

    Želučana metastaza infiltrativnog karcinoma dojke 22 godine nakon prve operacije - prikaz slučaja

    Gastric metastasis from breast carcinoma is uncommon and rarely encountered in our daily practice. We report a case of late gastric metastasis from previous infiltrating lobular carcinoma of the breast. The patient had extended disease-free interval of 22 years prior to metastasis. Gastroscopy and fluoroscopy showed changes appearing like linitis plastica of the body of the stomach. Computed tomography of the thorax and abdomen demonstrated pulmonary metastasis and mediastinal lymphadenopathy. Biopsy of the mediastinal lymph node and stomach lesion confirmed metastatic adenocarcinoma from breast carcinoma based on immunohistochemistry staining. Immunohistochemistry staining of both specimens revealed strong positivity for cytokeratin 7 and negative for cytokeratin 20.Metastaze karcinoma dojke u želudac nisu česte i rijetko se vide u svakodnevnoj praksi. Opisujemo slučaj kasne želučane metastaze iz prethodnog infiltrativnog lobularnog karcinoma dojke. Prije nastanka metastaze bolesnica je imala dugotrajno razdoblje bez bolesti od 22 godine. Gastroskopija i fluoroskopija pokazale su promjene poput linitis plastica na tijelu želuca. Kompjutorizirana tomografija prsnog koša i trbuha pokazala je plućnu metastazu i limfadenopatiju. Biopsija limfnog čvora medijastinuma i želučane promjene potvrdila je metastatski adenokarcinom iz karcinoma dojke na osnovi imunohistokemijskog bojanja pri čemu su oba uzorka bila snažno pozitivna na citokeratin 7 i negativna na citokeratin 20
