Persaingan dalam dunia bisnis terutama dalam bidang bisnis penyedia jasa pengendali hama saat ini semakin ketat. Untuk itu Terminix selaku salah satu Perusahaan penyedia jasa pengendali hama di Manado berupaya meningkatkan strategi untuk menambah jumlah konsumen baru dengan tetap mempertahankan konsumen yang sudah ada. Ada berbagai strategi untuk mewujudkan tujuan ini antara lain promosi, citra merek, dan saluran distribusi. Dengan memaksimalkan ketiga strategi ini diharapkan bisa meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen Terminix di Manado. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara simultan dan parsial dari variabel promosi, citra merek, dan saluran distribusi terhadap keputusan pembelian jasa Terminix di Manado. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 75 responden dari populasi 300 konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara simultan dan parsial variabel promosi, citra merek, dan saluran distribusi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen. Terminix cabang Manado sebaiknya mempertahankan dan meningkatkan promosi, citra merek, serta saluran distribusi sehingga keputusan pembelian konsumen dapat meningkat. PT ABC is a company located in Puncak Region West Java. Its main business is providing outdoor training activity, or known as outbound. To support its business, it is also facilitated with accommodation facility. Since the beginning of its business, a proper management principle is not being used properly by this company, therefore there's an indication that this company will go to a bankruptcy. This paper is going to discuss about the alternatives to rescue this company from bankruptcy. Using the Altman's z score prediction model, this paper will try to find out the real condition of this company toward bankruptcy. After that four alternatives of rescue strategy will be analyzed. These strategies are the strategies that hopefully will rescue this company from bankruptcy. The alternatives are refinancing, diversification of business, reorientation of business, or sell the company. Capital budgeting techniques, like NPV, IRR, PBP, etc will be used to analyze it. More recently, huge evolution in computing technology leading to finite element analysis (FEA) approaches to require incorporation of constitutive model, such as traction-separation relationship derived from state-of-the-art fracture mechanics fundamental. A physically-based models requires fracture energy values; therefore, properly measured fracture energy value is essential to exhibit better structures response within FEA models. Large arrays of parameters involved during concrete mixture such as beam size effect, aggregate size and concrete grade to affect the flexural resistance in concrete. The fracture and failure in concrete ahead of crack tip is represented by fracture energy values where micro-damage events occurred such as interfacial failure, fiber-bridging and matrix cracking. This study aims to investigate the fracture energy of concrete specimens with combination of notch depth ao at mid-span, design concrete strength as specified in the testing series. Independent compression strength, fc and measured load-displacement profiles under three-points bending test were used to determine fracture energy by incorporating three available fracture energy expressions such as Bazant, Hillerborg and CEB-FIP models

Diagnostic value of MRI for predicting axillary lymph nodes metastasis in newly diagnosed breast cancer patients: Diffusion-weighted MRI

AbstractObjectiveNon-invasive preoperative detection of axillary nodal metastasis is beneficial for the outcome of breast cancer patients. We aimed to determine the value of DW MRI, ADC and their combination with MRI morphological criteria in detecting axillary metastasis.MethodsWe included recently diagnosed forty breast cancer patients. MRI morphological criteria, signal intensity on DWI, and ADC value were assessed and compared between metastatic and non-metastatic LNs using histopathological findings as reference standard. Sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV and accuracy for each variable and cutoff value of ADC were evaluated.ResultsNo statistically significant difference between metastatic and non-metastatic LNs in short axis diameter or L/S ratio (p value: 0.87 and 0.82 respectively); however, loss of fatty hilum, high signal intensity on DWI and low ADC value were significant with increasing sensitivity on their combination. The mean ADC was 0.96±0.9×10−3mm2/s for metastatic and 1.53±0.6×10−3mm2/s for benign LNs with cutoff value 1.09×10−3mm2/s and sensitivity (94.5%), specificity (93.6%), PPV (96%), NPV (94.7%) and accuracy (95.6%).ConclusionDW-MRI and ADC per se or in combination with loss of the fatty hila is a promising and supportive tool for detection of axillary LNs metastasis

INF merupakan sebuah Perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang pertambangan baja dengan produk berupa nickel pig iron. nickel pig iron digunakan bahan baku pabrik stainless steel, nickel dan gulungan pabrik baja. Jumlah produk cacat untuk nickel pig iron dalam beberapa bulan mengalami trend kenaikan. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis penyebab terjadinya kenaikan cacat produk dengan menggunakan metodologi Six Sigma. Selanjutnya, usulan perbaikan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa problem yang menjadi apareto dala proses adala pertama nilai Silika (Si) tinggi dan kedua fospor (P) tinggi, level sigma yang didapatkan dari proses pembuatan pig iron rata-rata tahunan sebesar 1,6 sigma, perbaikan proses yang perlu dilakukan adalah pengawasan terhadap penjadwalan order burnlime powder, pengecekan material baru dengan uji coba formula terhadap material baru, dan pembuatan jadwal perbaikan serta fokus terhadap Perubahan tekanan yang rertera pada layar monito
