Combining EEG source connectivity and network similarity: Application to object categorization in the human brain
A major challenge in cognitive neuroscience is to evaluate the ability of the
human brain to categorize or group visual stimuli based on common features.
This categorization process is very fast and occurs in few hundreds of
millisecond time scale. However, an accurate tracking of the spatiotemporal
dynamics of large-scale brain networks is still an unsolved issue. Here, we
show the combination of recently developed method called dense-EEG source
connectivity to identify functional brain networks with excellent temporal and
spatial resolutions and an algorithm, called SimNet, to compute brain networks
similarity. Two categories of visual stimuli were analysed in this study:
immobile and mobile. Networks similarity was assessed within each category
(intra-condition) and between categories (inter-condition). Results showed high
similarity within each category and low similarity between the two categories.
A significant difference between similarities computed in the intra and
inter-conditions was observed at the period of 120-190ms supposed to be related
to visual recognition and memory access. We speculate that these observations
will be very helpful toward understanding the object categorization in the
human brain from a network perspective.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures. Accepted for 2016 IEEE Workshop on Statistical

Late-onset Isolated Myositis Following Transobturator Mid-Urethral Sling: A Case Report
Late onset of isolated myositis following a Transobturator (TOT) mid-urethral sling (MUS) is a rare post-operative complication.
A 38-year-old gravida 3 para 3003 with a long standing history of mixed urinary incontinence, Stage 2 anterior prolapse, dysmenorrhea, and abnormal uterine bleeding underwent a hysteroscopy with dilation and curettage, levonorgestrel intrauterine device insertion, anterior colporrhaphy, MUS insertion using the TOT approach and cystoscopy. Eight weeks post-op, she presented to the emergency room with right inguinal and low back pain, difficulty ambulating, and fevers. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the right hip revealed inflammatory fluid collection within the adductor brevis with posterior extension to the right femur concerning for myositis. She was admitted to the hospital for 12 days on broad spectrum antibiotics with clinical improvement and discharged with 2 weeks of outpatient antibiotics. Follow up MRI showed near complete resolution of fluid collection in right adductor muscle. Patient consent was obtained for this case report.
We present a rare case of late-onset isolated myositis following TOT MUS. Conservative treatment with antibiotics with a multidisciplinary team is a reasonable approach and can lead to resolution of patient symptoms without need for repeated surgical intervention
CEBAF Upgrade Bunch Length Measurements
Many accelerators use short electron bunches and measuring the bunch length is important for efficient operations. CEBAF needs a suitable bunch length because bunches that are too long will result in beam interruption to the halls due to excessive energy spread and beam loss. In this work, bunch length is measured by invasive and non-invasive techniques at different beam energies. Two new measurement techniques have been commissioned; a harmonic cavity showed good results compared to expectations from simulation, and a real time interferometer is commissioned and first checkouts were performed. Three other techniques were used for measurements and comparison purposes without modifying the old procedures. Two of them can be used when the beam is not compressed longitudinally while the other one, the synchrotron light monitor, can be used with compressed or uncompressed beam
A Case of a Retroperitoneal Leiomyoma during Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy
Retroperitoneal leiomyomas are rare clinical entities and poses clinical and therapeutic challenges to the benign gynecologist. We present the case of a 51 year-old gravida 2 para 2 with symptomatic leiomyomas undergoing definitive surgical management with total laparoscopic hysterectomy. Intraoperatively, a retroperitoneal mass in the pelvic side was identified, excised, and removed from the abdominal cavity without complications. Final pathology confirmed a leiomyoma
The Role of Knowledge Management on Organization Performance "Field Study on Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority"
The study aims to expose the role of knowledge management on organization performance at Aqaba special economic zone authority (ASEZA), where the researcher uses the questionnaire to collect data, and distribute (35) questionnaires on employees of different management levels and departments, and analyzes (33) of them with a percentage of (94.3%). The researcher has concluded that protecting information from loss or waste, the cost of transferring information to make speedy decisions, and the efficiency of knowledge management in the economy all have plays role on the performance of ASEZA, according to the opinions of the survey. The researcher recommends the following: the necessity for improving the methods of protecting systems, protecting information used in organizations and their sub systems, the need for the existence of scientific methods in order to calculate information costs which will help in reducing costs through the international crisis, trying to reduce expenses, and the needs to increase employee's efficiency through training programs, and also recruit expertise and skills from other professional government departments. Keywords: Knowledge management, information security, information transfer costs, knowledge management efficiency in economy

Leadership Styles among the Administrative Heads of Departments at Irbid University College and its Relationship with Employees' Motivation Toward Work
The present study aimed to detect the type of leadership for heads of departments administrators in Irbid University College and its relationship with employees' motivation toward work, and to achieve these objectives administrated leadership style scale, and motivation towards work scale on a sample of 123 workers in Irbid University College for the academic year 2015 / 2016, after its achieved validity and reliability, the results showed that (Democratic) style from the standpoint of workers in Irbid university College and the workers have high level of motivation towards work, and there is statistically significant negative relationship at the level of statistical (α = 0.05) between the leadership style (dictatorship) and motivation of workers in Irbid university College towards the work, and there is statistically significant positive relationship at the level of statistical (α = 0.05) between the leadership style (Democratic) and motivation of workers in Irbid university College towards the work.
