A Rock-Cut Hermitage with a Martyrdom Mural of St. James the Persian
The paper introduces a multi-room rock-cut hermitage of Chichkhituri monastery of Gareji wilderness, Georgia, the main room of which is decorated with murals on Christological themes (12th c.) and a unique scene of martyrdom of St. James the Persian (Intercisus) (first half of the 13th c.)
