The aim of this Bachelor’s Thesis is solution technology of assembly and cutting machining for mainpole high voltage with specialization on Anti-Vandal screw connection, which was developed by the company SANBORN a.s. This very important safety element is used during assembly of mainpole high voltage and protect the construction against the robbery of single parts as well as the stability disturbance in the large.

Design of increase in efficiency of machining of connecting rod

This diploma thesis deals with a machining process of the forging of connecting rod in the company SANBORN a.s mainly for reason to propose a more effective method of machining. The first part is focused on the analyse of actual process of production which is realized on several manufacturing machines. On second part are proposed the increases in efficiency of single machining operation and is used the modern multi - fuction machining centre OKUMA MULTUS which will increase the productivity and quality of machined part. In final part is applied for evaluation of machining and secondary production times and is performed the total financial analyse.

A Note on Efficient Computation of All Abelian Periods in a String

    Get PDF
We derive a simple efficient algorithm for Abelian periods knowing all Abelian squares in a string. An efficient algorithm for the latter problem was given by Cummings and Smyth in 1997. By the way we show an alternative algorithm for Abelian squares. We also obtain a linear time algorithm finding all `long' Abelian periods. The aim of the paper is a (new) reduction of the problem of all Abelian periods to that of (already solved) all Abelian squares which provides new insight into both connected problems

Production and Reception History of Two Czechoslovak Documentaries on the Holocaust

This article was supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Open Access Publication Fund of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In 1958 and 1961, two documentaries on the Holocaust were released in Czechoslovakia: Motýli tady nežijí / Butterflies Do Not Live Here by Miro Bernat and O botičkách, copánku a dudlíku / On Shoes, Braid and Dummy by Drahoslav Holub. Both of these films employed drawings and paintings made by Jewish children imprisoned in Theresienstadt between 1941 and 1945. Apart from using the same material, the films share similarities in style as both directors worked in the tradition stemming from the interwar avant-garde practices of cinematic montage and experimented with elements of animation. However, within these similar coordinates, each chose a different approach to the material. Reception of the films was also starkly different. The former received a good deal of international attention and praise, the latter was barely noticed. From today’s perspective, they are comparably forgotten. Film-historical analysis of the works has been missing in the Theresienstadt film studies context as well as in studies of documentary film on Holocaust. This article seeks to redeem that gap by examining the history of the films’ production as well as the history of their reception by the public, press and official cultural establishment. At the same time, it explores the films’ cultural-political significance in the context of late 1950s and early 1960s Czechoslovakia and considers the factors that lead to the contrasting histories of reception. The analysis is based on original research at the Archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague, on contemporary press critic and oral history sources including two interviews with the survivors who participated on making of the films, Helga Hošková-Weissová and Anna Hyndráková, conducted by the author throughout 2019

Real Equilibrium Exchange Rate Estimates: To What Extent Applicable for Setting the Central Parity?

    Get PDF
The objective of this paper is twofold. First, we provide an introduction on estimation and methodology of the real equilibrium exchange rate. Second, we discuss to what extent are these estimates applicable for setting the central parity. Given the uncertainty surrounding the estimates, they are informative in the sign rather than the size of the misalignment of exchange rate, but may serve as useful consistency checks for the decision about setting the central parity. We argue that policy makers shall consider the estimates in their decision- making only if the real exchange rate is substantially misaligned (i.e. more than 10% as a rule of thumb).

Contribution to the Knowledge of the Origin of Zeilithoid Production in Český Rudolec

In the middle of the 19th century, the administrator of the manor in Český Rudolec F. G. Rietsch invented a material which, by mixing it in water and fermenting it, made it possible to produce a beer of good quality even under unfavorable or diffi cult conditions. This invention, called Getreidestein - zeilithoid (grain stone) was patented for 15 years; subsequently it was put into practice and over two decades produced in Český Rudolec. The product was designed primarily for the production of beer on ocean liners or in remote overseas destinations, as well as for military crews and forts. Its spreading in Europe, the traditional homeland of beer, was not considered
