    Spinning AdS Propagators

We develop the embedding formalism to describe symmetric traceless tensors in Anti-de Sitter space. We use this formalism to construct the bulk-to-bulk propagator of massive spin J fields and check that it has the expected short distance and massless limits. We also and a split representation for the bulk-to-bulk propagator, by writing it as an integral over the boundary of the product of two bulk-to-boundary propagators. We exemplify the use of this representation with the computation of the conformal partial wave decomposition of Witten diagrams. In particular, we determine the Mellin amplitude associated to AdS graviton exchange between minimally coupled scalars of general dimension, including the regular part of the amplitude.Comment: 48 pages, 6 figure

The role of leading twist operators in the Regge and Lorentzian OPE limits

We study two kinematical limits, the Regge limit and the Lorentzian OPE limit, of the four-point function of the stress-tensor multiplet in Super Yang-Mills at weak coupling. We explain how both kinematical limits are controlled by the leading twist operators. We use the known expression of the four-point function up to three loops, to extract the pomeron residue at next-to-leading order. Using this data and the known form of pomeron spin up to next-to-leading order, we predict the behaviour of the four-point function in the Regge limit at higher loops. Specifically, we determine the leading log behaviour at any loop order and the next-to-leading log at four loops. Finally, we check the consistency of our results with conformal Regge theory. This leads us to predict the behaviour around J=1J=1 of the OPE coefficient of the spin JJ leading twist operator in the OPE of two chiral primary operators.Comment: 22+14 page

The podcast is one of the privileged vehicles of digital communication and is the fastest growing content format in Portugal. One of the topics that benefit from the podcast format, longer and with greater capacity for conveying complex information, is science. There are several successful examples of science podcasts internationally as well as nationally. However, there are few who focus on a greater humanization of scientists behind the evidence and discoveries, more widely disseminated and the center of attention. There are also few resources found in which the uncertainty of science and the failure associated with it are debated, with scientists being portrayed only in moments of success and glory. This (medical) science podcast aims to bring the public closer to the scientist, following their scientific path in parallel with their personal path and their daily lives in science. As such, a pilot season was planned and carried out with three different themes in the field of biomedicine, with health sciences always being of great interest to the public. The center of each episode is a conversation between two scientists from the research area chosen as the theme, with the sharing of successes and failures in a shared or individual path. In the end, this podcast intends to be an addition to the diversity of science communication made on digital platforms and to contribute to science podcasts in Portugal with an informal space for discussion between scientists who do science in our country about their research areas, their challenges, and also personal concerns with the current state of science and its communication

Study of soils from two trenches opened in a slope of the Serra do Mar for the sliding analysis

The landslides are mass gravitational movements induced by gravitational force and by the action of water. This event is the most recurrent and the largest producer of damages in Brazil. The objective of this research was to characterize soils from two trenches opened in a slope ot the Serra do Mar susceptible to landslides. Soil samples were collected and submitted to the geotechnical and physicoqchemical tests, which followed the Brazilian standards. A micro aggregation of the soil from both trenches was found on the basis of the granulometry analysis performed with and without deflocculant26XXVI Congresso de Iniciação Científica Unicam

    Conformal multi-Regge theory

We propose and explore the Regge limit for correlation functions of five local primary operators in conformal field theories. After reviewing some features of Regge theory for flat-space scattering amplitudes, we analyse the analytic structure of conformal blocks both in position and Mellin space in the Regge limit and propose an extension of conformal Regge theory for five-point functions. As a byproduct of our analysis we also introduce a new basis of three-point correlation functions for operators with spin and the associated Euclidean conformal blocks.Comment: Minor changes.
