Note presenting an investigation of the PV-2 helicopter rotor to determine the basic performance characteristics of a fully articulated rotor. Results are presented of the blade-motion observations at the 0.75-radius station for a limited range of flight conditions. Both the measured results and a comparison with theoretical results are provided

NACA Memorandum Reports
Report discussing basic performance data obtained on the PV-2 helicopter rotor. Blade motion, rotor forces, and power were measured for static-thrust condition and a limited range of forward-flight conditions. Recommendations are provided for further testing to obtain blade-motion data and force-test data in order to develop a more detailed analysis

NACA Technical Notes
"The aerodynamic characteristics of indicially cambered two-dimensional airfoils in supersonic flow are determined theoretically. These indicial functions are used to determine the power required to sustain a general time-varying chordwise deformation. The harmonically oscillating parabolic mode is considered in detail and stability boundaries are presented for this case" (p. 1)

NACA Memorandum Reports
Report presenting an investigation for the purpose of developing a target which can be towed satisfactorily at high speeds. Testing included drag measurements and visual observations of the stability characteristics of several full-scale and scale models of sleeve-type tow targets. The drag coefficients obtained for the currently used targets were found to be excessively high
