    Analisis Logam Zink (Zn) dan Besi (Fe) Air Sumur di Kelurahan Pantoloan Kecamatan Palu Utara

    A study is carried out to determine the metal content of zinc (Zn) and iron (Fe) in well water samples by AAS using a wet method of destruction through the addition of concentrated HNO3 as a solvent and forming acidic. The measuring the levels of zinc in the sample performed at a wavelength (λ) = 213 nm and measuring the levels of iron in the sample performed at a wavelength (λ) = 248.3 nm. The results obtained for the levels of zinc metal respectively are 0.3121 mg/L, 0.1175 mg/L, and 0.0478 mg/L, and iron metal levels are 0.394 mg/L, 0.546 mg/L, and 0.324 mg/L. These data indicate the metal content of zinc in wells water Pantoloan Village North Palu Palu district is still below the threshold value while the metal content of iron in wells near the sea (sampel B) is above the standard threshold value defined in the Rules of Ministry of Health Decree No. 492 /2010

    The Effects of Lupin (Lupinus Angustifolius) as Soybean Substitute and Coagulant Agent to Protein Precipitation in Tofu Preparation

    Lupinus angustifolius is legume that has high protein. Most of this plant growth in Australia. Another name of L. angustifolius is Australian sweet lupin. L. angustifolius is potentially use as the source of food. Tofu is one of the traditional foods in Indonesia.Tofu is madefrom the coagulation of soybean protein. L. angustifolius has globulin protein that has a role in the production of tofu. The price of L. angustifolius is cheaper than soybean. In this research, L. angustifolius has beenused as the substitution in the tofu production. Thepurpose of this researchis toknow the nutrition and potential of L. angustifolius as the substitute in tofu. This research is also monitoring the effect of coagulant agent that is used in tofu. The research result shows that the optimum concentration substitution of lupin that is used in tofu is 30% with CaCl2 coagulant agent. The tofu that is made from 30% lupin with CaCl2 contained 17.22% protein, 5.23 fat, and 1.14% carbohydrate. The observation shows that tofu that is made from 30% substitution of L. angustifolius has higher protein than tofu which is without substitution of L. angustifolius

    Quality Assessment of Bakpao Buns with Fortification of Catfish Protein Concentrate (Pangasius Hypophthalmus)

    The purpose of this research was to determine the quality of buns were fortified with catfish protein concentrate. The treatments that used in this research was the addition of protein concentrate catfish which is consists of three levels B0 (without fish protein concentrate), B1 (5% fish protein concentrate), B2 (7.5% fish protein concentrate), B3 (10% fish protein concentrate ). Based on research, the effect of the fortified catfish protein concentrate on the quality of bakpao buns significantly affect the organoleptic value, water content, protein content and fat content. The results show organoleptic value of the three treatments, where the bakpao buns with fortification catfish protein concentrate 5% (B1) or 30 gram is the best treatment with apparance values 7.80, aroma values 7.88, taste values 8.73, and the texture valuesof 7:40. Based on proximate value of the three treatments, bakpao buns with fortification catfish protein concentrate 10% (B3) or 60 gram is best treatments with a water content of 26.18%, protein content 14:51%, and 3.66% fat content

    Understanding of the Renormalization Program in a mathematically Rigorous Framework and an Intrinsic Mass Scale

    we show there exists a mathematically consistent framework in which the Renormalization Program can be understood in a natural manner. The framework does not require any violations of mathematical rigor usually associated with the Renormalization program. We use the framework of the non-local field theories [these carry a finite mass scale (\Lambda)]and set up a finite perturbative program. We show how this program leads to the perturbation series of the usual renormalization program [except one difference] if the series is restructured .We further show that the comparison becomes possible if there exists a finite mass scale (\Lambda), with certain properties, in the Quantum Field theory [which we take to be the scale present in the nonlocal theory]. We give a way to estimate the scale (\Lambda). We also show that the finite perturbation program differs from the usual renormalization program by a term; which we propose can also be used to put a bound on (\Lambda).Comment: 19 pages, a missing equation added,a reference added and a few typos correcte
