In this paper we present a generalization of the concepts of first and second F-variation (where F is a certain sequence of positive convex function defined on [0;+8], in the sense of Schramm-Riesz for normed space valued functions defined on an interval [a;b] c R. We characterized the functions of second F- variation in the sense of Schramm-Riesz, as those that can be expressed as the integral of a function of bounded F-variation in the sense of Schramm-Riesz.
Uniformly continuous composition operators in the space of bounded Φ-variation functions in the Schramm sense
We prove that any uniformly continuous Nemytskii composition operator in the space of functions of bounded generalized -variation in the Schramm sense is affine. A composition operator is locally defined. We show that every locally defined operator mapping the space of continuous functions of bounded (in the sense of Jordan) variation into the space of continous monotonic functions is constant
In this paper we introduce the notion of “function of second bounded variation” in the sense of Shiba, and we show that if a superposition operator applies the space of all such functions on itself and it is uniformly bounded, then its generating function satisfies a Matkowski condition.
In this paper we present some generalizations of the classical inequalities of Fejér for m-convex functions.
On functions of bounded -variation
In this paper we introduce the concept of -variation which generalizes the Riesz -variation. The following result is proved: A function is of bounded -variation (1 < p <\infty) if and only if f' is absolutely continuous on and . Moreover it is shown that the -variation of a function on [a,b] is given by V^2_p(f;[a,b])=\parallel f''\parallel^p_{L_p}[a,b]^\cdot$
On the composition operator in
Denote by the composition operator generated by a given function , acting on the space of absolutely continuous functions. In this paper we prove that the composition operator maps the space into itself if and only if satisfies a local Lipschitz condition on $\mathbb{R}
