We propose a new method based on discrete Artificial Bee Colony algorithm (DABC) for traveling salesman problem(TSP). We redefine the searching strategy and transforming mechanism of leading bees, following bees and scout bees according to discrete variables. The transition of swarm role is based on ratio factor of definition. leading bees use 2-Opt operator and learning operator to accelerate the convergence speed and to search the neighborhood. The searching of following bees introduce tabu table to improve the local refinement ability of the algorithm. Scouts bees define exclusive operation to maintain the diversity of population, so it is better to balance the exploration and exploitation ability of the algorithm. Finally, the experimental results show that the new algorithm can find relatively satisfactory solution in a short time, and improve the efficiency of solving the TSP

In order to investigate the effect of abrasive flow on the polishing effect of variable diameter pipe parts, taking the fourth-order variable-diameter pipe part as the research object, the solid-liquid two-phase abrasive grains are used as the processing method of the fourth-order variable-diameter pipe, the numerical simulation of the machining process of the four-order variable-diameter pipe parts were carried out. Analysis of different inlet speed conditions, the dynamic pressure and the distribution of turbulence intensity of the flow field of the fourth order variable diameter pipe. Through comparative analysis, the effects of the four-stage variable-diameter pipe flow field are studied, which can provide the theoretical basis for the continuous improvement of the abrasive flow precision and ultra precision machining technology, which can improve the efficiency of abrasive flow processing, so that the workpiece fatigue strength is improved, enhance the reliability of the workpiece, extend the service life of the workpiece

Sturgeon is an important fresh water-culture fish in China. A problem with sturgeon is its high susceptibility to spoilage. Food spoilage is reported to be regulated by quorum sensing (QS). To identify the QS signals acetylated homoserine lactones (AHLs) in sturgeon and test whether QS plays a role in the spoilage of sturgeon, we investigated the specific spoilage organisms (SSOs) in vacuum packaged sturgeon stored at 4°C and the production of AHLs by sturgeon SSOs. 16S rDNA sequencing and spoilage capabilities analysis revealed that Aeromonas veronii LP-11, Citrobacter freundii LPJ-2, and Raoultella ornithinolytica LPC-3 were the SSOs in sturgeon. Among the three SSOs, only A. veronii LP-11 induced the QS biosensors Agrobacterium tumefaciens KYC55 and Chromobacterium violaceum CV026, suggesting that it produced AHLs. Analysis by thin layer chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry, and high-performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (HPLC/qTOF-MS) identified that the AHLs produced by A. veronii were C6-SHL, C8-HSL, 3-oxo-C8-HSL, and 3-OH-C8-HSL. Our study revealed that QS system was probably involved in the regulation of sturgeon spoilage and for the first time reported the production of C8-HSL and 3-OH-C8-HSL by genus Aeromonas. As only HPLC/qTOF-MS effectively and accurately identified all the four AHLs produced by A. veronii LP-11, this study also showed that HPLC/qTOF-MS was the most efficient method for rapid analysis of AHLs in complex microbial sample. The study provides new insight into the microbiology of sturgeon spoilage which may be helpful for better sturgeon preservation

Study on erosion and stability of the ecological slope

Rainfall is the main influencing factor causing slope erosion, landslide, and instability in loess; thus, it is vital to comprehend the process of rainfall erosion on various slope surfaces and water penetration inside the slope. In this paper, the loess sample is from Heifangtai in Gansu Province, and triaxial shear tests were conducted on loess with roots under varying water contents to evaluate the slope-reinforcing impact of roots. The slope surface erosion process was analyzed using a soil moisture sensor and matric suction meter to monitor the variation of matric suction in the middle slope and slope foot in response to varying precipitation levels. The numerical simulation approach is utilized to analyze the fluctuation of slope stability under the effect of varying rainfall intensities and humid heat, and the analytical solution of the safety factor is compared to the model solution. The results indicate that the shortest generation time for bare slope runoff is 6 min, whereas the greatest generation time for the Bermuda grass slope is 12 min; the shorter the period, the less water penetration and the simpler it is to reach the slope erosion stage. The slope’s rise increases runoff velocity, strengthening water resistance on the slope surface. When the test slope is 30°, the maximum mass of scouring sediment on the bare slope is 15.2 g from 24 to 36 min, compared to 14.7 g from 24 to 36 min when the test slope is 60°. The amount of scouring reduces as the slope increases. The slope safety factor declined from 3.51 to 2.84 after 24 h of heavy rain, and the loss rate accelerated as the rainfall intensity increased

The Photometric System of Tsinghua-NAOC 80-cm Telescope at NAOC Xinglong Observatory

Tsinghua-NAOC (National Astronomical Observatories of China) Telescope (hereafter, TNT) is an 80-cm Cassegrain reflecting telescope located at Xinglong bservatory of NAOC, with main scientific goals of monitoring various transients in the universe such as supernovae, gamma-ray bursts, novae, variable stars, and active galactic nuclei. We present in this paper a systematic test and analysis of the photometric performance of this telescope. Based on the calibration observations on twelve photometric nights, spanning the period from year 2004 to year 2012, we derived an accurate transformation relationship between the instrumental ubvriubvri magnitudes and standard Johnson UBVUBV and Cousins RIRI magnitudes. In particular, the color terms and the extinction coefficients of different passbands are well determined. With these data, we also obtained the limiting magnitudes and the photometric precision of TNT. It is worthwhile to point out that the sky background at Xinglong Observatory may become gradually worse over the period from year 2005 to year 2012 (e.g., \sim21.4 mag vs. \sim20.1 mag in the V band).Comment: 12 pages,9 figures, accepted by RA
