    Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Mahasiswa pada Tugas Berweblog Mikrobiologi

    The science which discussed microbes is a part of the important concept in learning that implemented in curriculum 2013. To achieve national goals where students can critical, this research aims to analyze the critical thinking ability of students on courses of microbiology. Research methods a descriptive method which describe the phenomena of comment on the article through weblog about microbe daily life. There were 41st task had been commented on web. Then from the 41st, the 5th of article with commented were taken by purposive sampling technique to analyses critical response of the writer on comments. The results showed that, the writer able to argue with the reason, to observe and judge observation report, consider the credibility of a source, make deduction and the result of deduction, determine the term and judge the definition of the use of certain criteria (identify assumption). But, the writers haven't been able to follow problem solving and metacognition, nor the sensitive in feeling and the same rhetoric in discussion and presentation. It was concluded that critical thinking skills students, still within the aspect on clarification to make decisions about belief or action

    The purpose of this study is to evaluate the control systems on the TL shipping information, in order to discern weaknesses or problems in delivery of enterprise information systems control using CobIT approach. The research method used is the data collecting by observation, checklists, interviews, and literature study. The results achieved are findings and issue recommendations that provide an illustration about a control of the running information delivery systems. From the illustration it is known that on the company\u27s control of information delivery system, there are still many things that have not been up to standard. The conclusion obtained is that the control of information delivery systems that have been implemented meets only partially the standards set small, so it still needs much improvement

    Today,expert system as a part of artificial intelligence has many applications in various fields. This report presents one of expert system applications, namely health problemsknowledge base. Specifically, the final project presented here applies expert system approach to the knowledge base of blood cancer disease in children. It is expected to helpmedical practitioners and students to improve their quality of learning and knowledge. Features of the application are disease definitions, explanations and consultations. There isalso a facility to add, delete and update the knowledge base. Knowledge base is implemented using a decision tree, which consists of rules governed by forward chaining inference technique. This application is coded using PHP and MySQL

    – This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of the application of learning models investigative group to improve science process skills and critical thinking skills of high school students. The method used is quasi-experimental with a given experimental class treatment with the application of investigative learning and classroom control group with conventional learning methods practicum. The results showed that the group of Investigation learning model can significantly improve the students' science process skills compared with conventional methods of practical learning model. Data were getting N-gain experimental class was 0.58; and N-gain control class 0,49. N-gain experimental class and control class fit into the category of being. While the critical thinking skills of students, the results obtained from this study is Critical Thinking Skills of students did not differ significantly in the experimental class with grade control. Data were getting N-gain experimental class of 0.01; and N-gain control class is 0.01. The N-gain in the low category. N-Gain very low state that the investigation group learning model can not be set as the cause of increasing students' science process skills

    Graduation standard of Indonesia senior high school hopes the students show their logical, crithical, creative, and inovative thinking skill in making decision. The study aimed to find out difference of crithical thinking between students taught with Problem Based Learning (PBL) method and Society Technology Science (STM) in the concept of virus. The subject are 64 students grade X of SMAN 11 South Tangerang City. Method used was quasy experiment with non-equivalent control group design. Sample were taken by simple random technique sampling. Instruments used was free analysis essay test. The result of postest percentage in both of class shows that (PBL) is better in giving the simple explanation and constructing the basic skill aspect, while STM model is better in giving further explaination aspect. In addition, the posttetest result was analyzed by t-test. The result gained was t-count is 2,79 and t-table with the significant of 5% is 1,99. It shows that there is a difference in in chritical thinking between students taught with PBL method and STM in the concept of virus

    Novel protocol for the solid-state synthesis of magnetite for medical practices.

    It is reported a novel approach to prepare nanoparticles of magnetite (Fe3O4) by heating a mixture of synthetic commercial maghemite (? Fe2O3) with sucrose. This solidstate reaction leads to the chemical reduction of part of the Fe3+ of the precursor oxide to render Fe2+ and Fe3+ in octahedral and Fe3+ in tetrahedral sites of the Fe-O coordination framework. Powder X-ray diffraction patterns, FTIR and 298 K M?ossbauer spectra confirm the conversion of maghemite into magnetite. Based on these results, the optimal sucrose:maghemite rate was found to be 4
