    The study aims to determine the association of milk as complimentary breakfast towards learning achievement of elementary school students, using a retrospective case-control research design. Subjects were determined purposively with the inclusion criteria having normal BMI and not lactose intolerance. The minimum number of subjects was based on calculations were 38 children. Subjects as many as 22 elementary school children were exposed to a complete breakfast habit with milk and 17 elementary school children became a control group for breakfast habits without milk. Completing the 2x24 hour food recall questionnaire and 7-day food record and subject interviews were conducted for 1 week. Learning achievement is measured using the final score of the semester 1 by K13 curriculum. There was a significant relationship in the exposed group and the control group on learning achievement especially Bahasa scores (p = 0,001) as many as 90,91% in the exposed group and 88,24%, in the control group, also, the tendency for a better IPA (Science) scores in the exposed group was 81,82% compared to the control group at 64,71%. Thus, the habit of breakfast supplemented with milk is closely related to the learning achievement of elementary school children

    Pandemi COVID-19 memberikan perubahan pada aspek pola kerja menjadi online atau bekerja dari rumah (Work From Home). Kondisi WFH ini memiliki pengaruh positif dan negatif bagi ibu menyusui yang bekerja. Pengaruh negatif terhadap kejadian COVID-19 yaitu meningkatkan kecemasan dan mempengaruhi aspek kesiapan ibu hamil untuk melakukan IMD sesaat setelah melahirkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan inisiasi menyusu dini (IMD) pada ibu bekerja terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif secara direct breastfeeding saat pandemi COVID-19. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 27 ibu menyusui yang bekerja WFH dan memiliki bayi yang berusia ≥ 6 bulan dan ≤ 2 tahun. Desain penelitian ini yaitu cross sectional study  dengan penentuan subjek secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara IMD dengan metode menyusui secara direct breastfeeding dan mixed breastfeeding dengan nilai p=0,002 (p<0,05). Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara IMD dengan metode menyusui (direct breastfeeding dan mixed breastfeeding), ibu yang menyusui secara direct breastfeeding memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap berat badan bayi yang menjalani proses IMD. Oleh karena itu, IMD dan metode menyusui direct breastfeeding disarankan dapat dilakukan oleh para ibu bekerja.Â

    Latar Belakang: Produktivitas di Indonesia selama 25 tahun terakhir terus mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 3,1% per tahunnya. Sumber daya manusia memiliki peranan yang penting untuk mendukung hal tersebut, yang mana perlu memiliki sumber daya manusia yang bermutu dan berkualitas tinggi. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status gizi, kebiasaan sarapan dan durasi tidur terhadap produktivitas pekerja Metode: Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah  39 pekerja dan  dilakukan pada bulan April-Juli  2022. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional dengan penarikan subjek secara purposive sampling.. Kriteria inklusi pada penelitian ini adalah subjek merupakan karyawan PT Sejahtera Buana Trada, subjek berusia 18-55 tahun, bersedia menjadi subjek penelitian, subjek minimal sudah 1 tahun bekerja. Kriteria eksklusi pada subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah subjek yang dalam keadaan puasa untuk menganalisis konsumsi pangan Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Data yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data skunder. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  mayoritas pekerja di PT. Sejahtera Buana Trada Sunter (71,8%) memiliki produktivitas yang tinggi, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas pekerja tergolong  baik.  Terdapat hubungan antara status gizi dengan produktivitas pekerja dengan nilai p=0,002 (p<0,05). Terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan sarapan dengan produktivitas dengan nilai p=0,003 (p<0,05). Terdapat hubungan antara durasi tidur dengan produktivitas pekerja dengan nilai p=0,004 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan penelitian ini terdapat hubungan antara status gizi, kebiasaan sarapan, dan durasi tidur terhdap produktivitas pekerja PT. Sejahtera Buana Trada Sunter

    EFEK PEMBERIAN BUKU SAKU TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN GIZI ANEMIA PADA SISWI KELAS 10 DI SMKN 45 JAKARTA

    Prevalensi anemia pada remaja putri di Indonesia masih tinggi. Salah satu penyebab dari permasalahan gizi tersebut adalah kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai anemia. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi permasalahan anemia adalah dengan pemberian pendidikan gizi. Pelaksanaan pendidikan gizi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja putri mengenai anemia. Pendidikan gizi ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 45 Jakarta dengan subjek sebanyak 33 siswi remaja putri dari kelas 10 berumur 15-16 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendidikan gizi ini adalah metode pre-post test dengan pemaparan mengenai anemia zat gizi besi menggunakan media buku saku, powerpoint, diskusi dua arah, serta hasil dari pendidikan gizi tersebut diuji menggunakan perhitungan statistik. Hasil dari pendidikan gizi ini berdasarkan uji statistik Wilcoxon didapatkan nilai signifikan p = 0.001 (p&lt;0.05) menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan pendidikan gizi pada siswi kelas 10 di SMKN 45 Jakarta. Upaya pemberian pendidikan gizi anemia dengan media buku saku terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswi kelas 10 remaja putri mengenai anemia gizi besi di SMKN 45 Jakarta. One of the causes of these nutritional problems is the lack of knowledge about anemia. Efforts that can be made to reduce the problem of anemia are by providing nutrition education. The implementation of this nutrition education aims to improve the nutritional knowledge of adolescent girls about anemia. This nutrition education was held at SMKN 45 Jakarta with 33 female adolescent students from class 10 aged 15-16 years. The method used in this nutrition education is the pre-post test method with exposure to iron nutrition anemia using pocket book media, powerpoint, two-way discussion, and the results of nutrition education are tested using statistical calculations. The results of this nutrition education based on the Wilcoxon statistical test obtained a significant value of p = 0.001 (p &lt;0.05) indicating a significant difference in the increase in knowledge before and after nutrition education for 10th grade students at SMKN 45 Jakarta. Efforts to provide anemia nutrition education with pocket book media have proven effective in increasing the knowledge of 10th grade adolescent female students regarding iron nutrition anemia at SMKN 45 Jakarta.     NUTRITION AMBASSADOR COMPETITION AS A METHOD TO IMPROVE NUTRITION KNOWLEDGE OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

    Indonesia, a developing country, is still facing nutrition problems caused by lack of access to food and nutrition knowledge. Adolescents play an important role in a long term preventing of nutrition problem. Competition and award are ways of increasing adolescent interest and motivation in gaining nutrition knowledge. Therefore, the purpose of this empowerment program is to improve nutrition capacity og high school students (HSS) through a nutrition ambassador competition and award. The selection of nutrition ambassador candidates is carried out through written selection for 2nd grade HSS in 5 high schools (HS) in each selected city oN 8 cities of Indonesia. Five best couples from each HS then follow a second stage written selection at city level. Finally, the five best couple nominated from the second stage were then interviewed to determine the best three couple as nutrition ambassadors for every city. The result showed about 200 HSS involved as the candidates: and they read the balance nutrition guidebook from ministry of health as an online compulsory reading book which was uploaded in the web of PERGIZI PANGAN Indonesia. The mean nutrition knowledge score of the NA was 65.4 ± 12.9 which categorized as moderate level. This activity was appreciated by school principals and by local health district office heads. The nutrition ambassadors helped local health office to educate nutrition to HSS in each city. Now with the assistance from PERGIZI PANGAN Indonesia, they are sharing nutrition information and experience via WhatsApp Group. This implies that nutrition ambassador competition and award could be developed to improve nutrition capacity of HSS

    AN INTEGRATED HEALTHY BREAKFAST EDUCATION FOR TEACHERS, SCHOOL CHILDREN, AND PARENTS IN WEST JAVA

    Both skipping and unhealthy breakfast are frequent among Indonesian school children that may cause by low income and lack of awareness on benefits of healthy breakfast.&nbsp; Previous breakfast educations at school focus on the children. The objective of this community services was to build awareness of teachers, school children, and parents integrated. The method of this program was to train teachers, to educate parents, and to educate school children (3rd-6th grades) about healthy breakfast. A material of teacher training and education includes healthy breakfast, healthy snacks, and supported by comics and “cakram” of healthy breakfast. The material given to the target groups includes healthy breakfast; safe snacks, balanced nutrition, and hand wash through oral communication by example, reading comics and discussion. This community service was held on April 2017-April 2018 in Bandung, Tangerang, and Bogor of West Java in collaboration with PERGIZI PANGAN Indonesia and PT Indofood Sukses Makmur. The results showed healthy breakfast education goes well as planned. As much as 221 teachers, 4713 primary school children, 270 parents were educated on that topics.&nbsp; The trained teachers and parents agree to continue the healthy breakfast education program, once each semester. The children said that the design and the messages on healthy breakfast in the comics were interesting and easily understood

    The BGBJ is commonly known as "Biji-Biji Bantar Gebang" which is precisely located in Bantar Gebang where was collected 7000 tons of Jakarta's waste in final dumped. &nbsp;The BGBJ is a unique community asset that functions as both a hostel and others, a place that caters to both visitors and the local community. The BGBJ community has limitations for training on Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (CHLB) for school-age children. So that this community service proposal was made with the aim of holding a collaboration on a CHLB program for mothers and children in the environment around the Bantar Gebang TPST between extension workers and the BGBJ community. The activity method was include: problem mapping, morning exercises, pre-post test of CHBL education, singing hand-washing chants, role play washing hands with soap and water, and evaluation. The results show that the pre- and post-test on the activities of understanding CHLB’s scores of 90.35 and 92.11, respectively. The understanding of CHLB among participants was good before the program was held, this is from the results of the pre-test which were also quite high. This shows that PHBS educational activities are also meaningful to increase participants' understanding. Furthermore, it is hoped that all participants can apply this understanding in their daily lives
