Four new species of the genus Aleochara Gravenhorst, 1802, subgenus Coprochara Mulsant & Rey, 1874 (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae).
StichwörterColeoptera, Staphylinidae, Aleocharinae, Aleochara, Coprochara, new species, taxonomy.Nomenklatorische Handlungeneicasta Maus, 1999 (Aleochara (Coprochara)), spec. n.fuldneriana Maus, 1999 (Aleochara (Coprochara)), spec. n.klimaszewskii Maus, 1999 (Aleochara (Coprochara)), spec. n.peschkeana Maus, 1999 (Aleochara (Coprochara)), spec. n.Aleochara (Coprochara) klimaszewskii sp. n. from Yemen, A. (C.) fuldneriana sp. n. from Tadjikistan, A. (C.) eicasta sp. n. from the Caucasus, and A. (C.) peschkeana sp. n. from Colombia are described. Documentation and enhancement of the traceability of finite-element-analysis
The approach presented in this paper is based on the CAE-environment of the product development process. Simulations and results often are safety-relevant and thus have to be traceable even years after the engineering process is completed, especially if structural stiffness, durability and crash behaviour are concerned. At present, the documentation mostly focuses on the results. Since these are influenced by many more parameters than just the geometry to simulate, the way the simulation model is defined should be documented as well.
The concept intends to enhance the quality of FEA-simulation documentation and to make a comparison of simulation models and results possible. Additionally, it allows the reliable reproduction of simulations. The core components are a database for the storage of simulation models and a so-called processing tool, which reads in new simulation files into and generates the documentation files out of the database. Besides that, another database supports the engineer in building simulation models for new cases
Managed Forgetting to Support Information Management and Knowledge Work
Trends like digital transformation even intensify the already overwhelming
mass of information knowledge workers face in their daily life. To counter
this, we have been investigating knowledge work and information management
support measures inspired by human forgetting. In this paper, we give an
overview of solutions we have found during the last five years as well as
challenges that still need to be tackled. Additionally, we share experiences
gained with the prototype of a first forgetful information system used 24/7 in
our daily work for the last three years. We also address the untapped potential
of more explicated user context as well as features inspired by Memory
Inhibition, which is our current focus of research.Comment: 10 pages, 2 figures, preprint, final version to appear in KI -

5.6 Residues in bee-relevant matrices
Application of pesticides during flowering of crops can result in exposure of pollinating insects such as honey bees, bumble bees and wild bees. In addition, residues of pesticides in bee products like honey may result from such applications. One of the overall goals of the German "FitBee" project was to determine the transport of plant protection products into the honey bee colony via individual bees and reduce the exposure to plant protection products by application technology approaches. One of these application technologies is DroplegUL, with which row crops can be sprayed underneath the canopy level, avoiding spray onto the blossoms. In the scope of the "FitBee" project (2011 to 2015), we conducted during five years semi-field experiments in Germany comparing conventional and DroplegUL spraying techniques regarding their implications to honeybee colony exposure. In this context, various trials were conducted in which residues in in-hive matrices (stored nectar, pollen) of bee colonies foraging on a model crop (oilseed rape) which was pesticide-treated with DroplegUL vs. conventional technology were measured.Application of pesticides during flowering of crops can result in exposure of pollinating insects such as honey bees, bumble bees and wild bees. pH-Bildgebung am Gehirn von polaren Fischen: eine TauCEST Anwendung
