The tofu liquid waste has a high organic matter content and potential for biogas production as an alternative fuel source through anaerobic process . In general , biogas contains 50-80 % methane , CO2 , H2S and water . The treatment of tofu liquid waste into biogas is beneficial for the owner tofu factory not only contribute to protecting the environment but also increase revenue by reducing fuel consumption in the tofu production. The purpose of thr program to follow up of the PKM - M ( Student Creativity Program Society) to provide an introduction the treatment of tofu liquid waste into biogas as a fuel alternative and its application in the factory tofu owned by Mr. Jarwanto in Sumber Rejeki Village Rt 40 / Rw 7 Sidodadi District, Masaran Central Java . The methods of implementation through the simple design instrument with the principal part of digestive (digester) , raw material intake hole , out let of the products digestion sludge (slurry) , and the distribution pipes for biogas formed . In the tank digester is contain methane bacteria to decompose of organic matter and produce of biogas . The gas formed subsequently channeled into the pipes that are designed such that it can be directly utilized in such a way for example to the stove . Peningkatan Kemampuan Guru Dalam Pembelajaran IPA Melalui Lesson Study

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui lesson study. Penelitian dengan desain Kemmis dan Taggart. Proses penelitianini meliputi: tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) Kemampuan guru SDN Karangsambung II setelah mengikuti lesson study dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran partisipatifmeningkat signifikan. Kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran partisipatif pada siklus pertama hanya mencapai rata-rata 69,5, sedangkan pada siklus kedua berhasil mencapai rata-rata 76,0; (2) Aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran pada siklus pertama hanya mencapai rata-rata 64,5 terjadi peningkatan pada siklus kedua yang mencapai rata-rata 77,0, dan dilihat dari nilai tes akhir pada siklus pertama hanya mencapai 66,1 meningkat sangat signifikan mencapai 74,6, Artinya, melalui lesson study dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran

Pollinator Bat Identification Based on Pollen as Feed Resources at LinggarjatiDistrict-Ciremai National Park, West Jawa. Pollen identification that used for feedresources by six species of frugivorous bats from Ciremai National Park was identifiedunder microscope. The results shown that are known 21 species as important plants forbats and in the contrast possibly for bats as pollinator. By the principle componentanalysis and cluster grouping based on Euclidian distance indicated that Aethalops alecto,Chironax melanocephalus as important polinator role in primary forest and high in elevationlevel, C. brachyotis and Macroglossus sobrinus in secondary or fragmented forest andMegaerops kusnotoi in lower primary forest and Cynopterus tittacheilus is important rolefor intermediate area between primary and secondary forest and at lower elevation range.On the niche overlaps analysis indicated that the highest overlaps were known in C.brachyotis and M. sobrinus (0.881) but the lowest in niche overlaps between M. sobrinusand C. melanocephalus (0.288

Quality of Medical Information Determine the Quality of Diagnosis Code

The accuracy of the diagnosis code has implications for future patient care planning, provision of health services and patient care costs. Therefore, this study has analyzed the influence of the quality of medical information on the quality of the diagnosis code which includes the accuracy, consistency, completeness and timeliness in coding the diagnosis of inpatients at Dr. Moewardi hospital.This was an observational analytic study with a sample of 250 medical records taken using stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed by chi square test. High quality of medical information has a better diagnosis code quality (73.80%) compared to poorly quality of medical information (36.00%). High quality of medical information has a log odds of 1.54 better in the quality of diagnosis code than poorly quality of medical information (b=1.54; 95% CI=0.81-2.27, p<0.001)

IbM Kaum Ibu Yang Berisiko Kanker Payudara di Kelompok Wilayah Pelayanan XVII GMIST Imanuel Tahuna Kecamatan Tahuna Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe

Mitra sasaran program ini yaitu kaum ibu GMIST Imanuel Tahuna yang ada di kelompok wilayah pelayanan (KWP) XVII dan XVIII kelurahan Sawang Bendar dan Apengsembeka Kecamatan Tahuna Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe. Daerah ini termasuk salah satu pemukiman ibu-ibu yang berisiko tinggi terhadap terjadinya kanker payudara. Ibu-ibu ini tergabung dalam 1 (satu) organisasi sosial Gerejawi yang menjadi mitra program ini. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh ibu-ibu ini yaitu, belum mengetahui tentang kanker payudara, tanda dan gejala, takut memeriksakan diri pada fasilitas kesehatan, resiko terjadinya kanker payudara pada semua wanita, belum mengetahui cara deteksi dini terjadinya kanker payudara, ekonomi keluarga menengah kebawah dan personal hygiene yang masih kurang. Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu: 1). Untuk mengetahui tentang kanker payudara, tanda dan gejala, terjadinya kanker payudara, 2). Untuk mengetahui deteksi dini dengan cara periksa payudara sendiri (SADARI), 3). Mengurangi risiko terjadinya kanker payudara. Tujuan jangka panjang untuk meningkatkan kesehatan serta memperpanjang usia harapan hidup. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu: 1) Ceramah/penyuluhan, 2) Demonstrasi/simulasi 3) Pelatihan deteksi dini kanker payudara 4) Pendampingan dan Evaluasi. Luaran dari kegiatan ini brosur/liflet kanker payudara, Artikel ilmiah dan tindak lanjut pemeriksaan bagi ibu-ibu yang menunjukan adanya tanda dan gejala kanker payudara sebanyak tiga responden. Dapat disimpulkan setelah diberikan penyuluhan, serta mengajarkan cara deteksi dini terjadinya kanker payudara, ibu-ibu dapat mengetahui dan mengerti serta melaksanakan pemeriksaan payudara payudara sendiri,. Disarankan Untuk GMIST Imanuel Tahuna, agar dapat memasukan dalam program kegiatan gerejawi, tentang penyuluhan/ceramah tentang deteksi dini kanker payudara dalam program kategorial kaum perempuan

Changes in Soil N, P, K, Rice Growth and Yield Following the Application of Azolla pinnata

Information on the effects of A. pinnata application on changes in nutrient availability and rice yield obtained from paddy fields of the South Lampung, Indonesia is still limited. A study was carried out to investigate the effects of different rates of A. pinnata (0; 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, and 10.0 t/ha) on changes in N, P, K concentrations in paddy soils, N uptake, rice growth and yield. The experiment was conducted on a well-irrigated paddy field that was incorporated with A. pinnata, and then rice seedlings of Ciherang variety had been grown on it from June up to December 2009. The results showed that the application of A. pinnata to the paddy rice fields affected the soil available P, plant height, tiller number, grain number per panicle, and grain yield. The addition of A. pinnata at the rate of 5.0 and 7.5 t/ha had higher rice yield compared with other treatments. The application of A. pinnata at the rate of 7.5 t/ha increased significantly soil available P, indicating that A. pinnata required a fairly high P to grow optimally. The application of A. pinnata at the rate of 7.5 t/ha gave also the highest dry grain yield, suggesting that the application of A. pinnata did not suppress the rice yield, even it might help to conserve fossil fuels and foreign exchange as well as allow more paddy fields that can be fertilized by N. Practically, the application rate of A. pinnata could range 4-8 t/ha, depending on the abundance of the material at the site.
