Similarity-based Knowledge Transfer for Cross-Domain Reinforcement Learning
Transferring knowledge in cross-domain reinforcement learning is a
challenging setting in which learning is accelerated by reusing knowledge from
a task with different observation and/or action space. However, it is often
necessary to carefully select the source of knowledge for the receiving end to
benefit from the transfer process. In this article, we study how to measure the
similarity between cross-domain reinforcement learning tasks to select a source
of knowledge that will improve the performance of the learning agent. We
developed a semi-supervised alignment loss to match different spaces with a set
of encoder-decoders, and use them to measure similarity and transfer policies
across tasks. In comparison to prior works, our method does not require data to
be aligned, paired or collected by expert policies. Experimental results, on a
set of varied Mujoco control tasks, show the robustness of our method in
effectively selecting and transferring knowledge, without the supervision of a
tailored set of source tasks.Comment: 30 pages, 7 figure

High level 3D structure extraction from a single image using a CNN-based approach
High-Level Structure (HLS) extraction in a set of images consists of recognizing 3D elements with useful information to the user or application. There are several approaches to HLS extraction. However, most of these approaches are based on processing two or more images captured from different camera views or on processing 3D data in the form of point clouds extracted from the camera images. In contrast and motivated by the extensive work developed for the problem of depth estimation in a single image, where parallax constraints are not required, in this work, we propose a novel methodology towards HLS extraction from a single image with promising results. For that, our method has four steps. First, we use a CNN to predict the depth for a single image. Second, we propose a region-wise analysis to refine depth estimates. Third, we introduce a graph analysis to segment the depth in semantic orientations aiming at identifying potential HLS. Finally, the depth sections are provided to a new CNN architecture that predicts HLS in the shape of cubes and rectangular parallelepipeds
autocuidado fue de nivel regular 67%, nivel bajo 23% y nivel alto con un 10%;
Description of a hamartoma-type odontoma in Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare)
Archivo de memoriaFish present the same variety of tumors as described in mammals and birds. Odontogenic tumors are related to alterations in epithelial and/or mesenchymal tissues involved in the formation and development of teeth. Histologically, the odontoma is a tumor characterized by abortive tooth formations and dental tissues (i.e. enamel, dentin, and cementum) that are normally formed but present a more or less disorganized pattern. In small fish species, odontogenic tumors have almost exclusively been described in angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) and ocellaris clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris). These tumors are macroscopically characterized as a nodular mass located in the frontal regions of the mouth. In angelfish these tumors have been described only as individual cases either as lip fibroma (in captive specimens) or as ameloblastoma (in wild specimens), but in this report we describe the occurrence of tumors in the frontal region of the mouth in a group of twenty aquarium angelfish.Conacyt, proyecto 287537 (UAEM 4618-2018-C
Pulmonary artery mycotic aneurism owing to aspergillus in SARS-CoV-2 convalescent: a case report and literature review
Invasive aspergillosis is a severe illness described in immune-compromised and critically ill non-immuno-compromised patients. Aspergillosis and COVID-19 co-infection cases harbor multiple unfavorable prognostic factors, with a 44% mortality versus 19% without aspergillosis. We presented the case of a 61-year-old man known with hypertension, diabetes, and smoking that went through COVID-19 infection, during the convalescent period presented multiple hemoptoic events due to A. fumigatus mycotic pseudoaneurysm, successfully resolved by selective angioembolization. Selective angioembolization is an effective alternative for high surgical risk due to comorbidities in the treatment of pulmonary mycotic aneurism
